5 easy steps to socialism.

“Go along to get along.” “Don’t rock the boat.” “Someone else will do the right thing.” It is extremely easy to justify one’s actions, or the lack thereof. Our collective lack of courage to stand up and confront evil is appalling. Ignoring that which does not seem to directly affect us presently, even though others may be adversely affected, seems to be the calling card of our “I don’t want to get involved” society. Whether it be the parenting our children without instilling proper Christian morals and values, or overparenting by enabling their children’s every whim, every new generation is becoming increasingly directionless.

The left’s strategy to infiltrate academia is bearing fruit as a generation of young people have embraces the siren song of socialism. Never mind that socialism’s failures are well documented, “democratic socialism” is the antidote to those disasters. Never mind the death and destruction socialism has left in its path throughout history. Never mind that eventually production slows to halt when workers realize that being productive is of no value to them. Welfare fails because recipients understand that working for a living is of no benefit when the government provides funding for food, housing, heat, and childcare? Socialism in any form cannot and will not ever succeed.

We are witnessing an insurgency, intent upon fundamentally transforming this nation, driven by a compliant, lying mainstream media, leftist democrat party leaders, and imbedded leftist bureaucrats in government and academia. Enabled by that cacophony of support, useful idiots become vigilantes, fighting against a perceived injustice to criminal illegal immigrants. These crazed individuals actually think they are performing a public service championing the “oppressed.” All they are doing is accomplishing the leftist goal of destroying the nation in which they enjoy the freedoms that allow them to act the fool. And if they somehow succeed in this “mission” they will discover that what you wish for is not the reality that one would hope it would be.

New York elected avowed socialist Zoran Mamdani as mayor of the largest city in the United States. It is early in his tenure, but the signs are pointing toward an epic financial collapse and a legacy of incompetent leadership. For those that propelled him to victory, it will be a rude awakening. Past performance is the best indicator of success or failure. New York was able to survive the inept leadership of Bill DeBlasio and his socialistic policies, but he was not a full-blown socialist. Until people wake up and realize that they are being lied to and used as pawns, we will ever steadily approach the point of no return. The United States is on track for another civil war, like it or not. The left is winning, and with every day that elapses, more join in this movement toward socialism.

Democrats are indelibly the party of the left. The left’s mantra is socialism. Supporting democrats, or opposing Republicans, enables and emboldens the left. Far too many conservatives sit on the sideline, neglect their civic duty to vote, and acquiesce to the insanity of the left. This is a struggle to maintain the freedoms granted by our Constitutional Republic. Once gone, they will be gone forever. We only need to look to the European Union to see how easy it is to lose cherished freedoms, if taken for granted.  

Socialism is a pox upon humanity that quashes the incentive of the individual to succeed. Nations fail under the weight of the tyranny necessary to maintain order when socialist states begin to collapse. This is inevitable for the United States if we fail to make our voices heard. California, Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, and Illinois are prime examples of leftist democrat “leadership.” These are harbingers of what is yet to come for everyone else in this once great “shining city on a hill” if we stand by and allow it to happen. The story is not yet set in stone. Our fate is not yet determined. Will you stand firm and vote for representatives that share your values that support liberty and the rule of law? Or will you sit back and watch our country burn?
