Virginia democrats to “save” democracy.

When court rulings upset democrats, they will fight to the end in order to get their way. There will no longer be a need to “pack the court” when conservatives rule constitutionally and common-sense reigns. Democrat-controlled States can just change the rules by passing unreasonable mandatory retirement ages. This is actually true. The Virginia Supreme Court ruled that the State’s “gerrymandering” referendum that recently passed 51-48%, overruling a previous independent redistricting, voter approved map, was unconstitutional. The democrat’s next effort to “save democracy” is to replace that entire current Supreme Court by legislating a mandatory retirement age of 54. Coincidently, the youngest justice is 54, creating an opportunity for democrat Governor Abigail Spanberger to simply appoint an entire slate of new justices that would rule favorably in any other democrat scheme to usurp the authority of the electorate.

This unabashedly malicious and unethical plot to overthrow the will of the people is simply more evidence that democrats care only about gaining and maintaining power. You see, democrats are not unlike petulant children that throw tantrums when they cannot get their way. Voters are merely pawns, to be literally used as tools to keep them in office. Democrats depend upon the drumbeat of the legacy media to amplify their lies and ignore their missteps. Subterfuge is the guiding principle of the democrat party. Keeping the uninformed believing the propaganda that they continually spew is all important. What democrats fear most is an informed electorate, that can see right through their lies.

In the marketplace of ideas, democrats fail. They support policies (transgenderism, abortion, governmental censorship, open borders, antisemitism, anti-incarceration, and on and on) that are opposed by and are detrimental to Americans. Why is it that the policies democrats support are upheld through friendly court decisions? Why is it that democrat operatives sue to prevent policies and legislation favorable to Americans but are opposed by the left? There are consequences to elections, particularly when leftist judges are appointed to the bench. It is no coincidence that those very same judges serve in venues that democrat operatives file their frivolous lawsuits. Never mind that higher courts overturn their rulings, these are roadblocks designed to delay good policies and legislation from taking effect.

Former democrats are leaving the party in droves as their eyes are finally opened to the contradiction that the democrat party has become. Their quest to “save” democracy, by supporting the no king’s movement, Black Lives Matter, condemning the “oligarchy,” and continually villainizing Trump, has shown those with eyes to see, ears to hear, and minds to comprehend, that they no longer are the party of the people. That ship began to sail with the advent of Barack Obama and his strategy to widen the racial and class divide rather than working to bring all Americans together. He championed diversity, equity, and inclusion that has simply divided the population by race, creed, and color. If Americans are at each other’s throats, democrats can commit atrocities against those too busy calling out one another for perceived “injustices.” If Americans saw one another as Americans with common goals, democrats would be lost. Without a bogeyman, there is no one to blame for democrat failures.

As more of the corruption democrats have engaged in is exposed, their claim to any legitimacy is destroyed. As democrat policies are exposed to the light of day, more and more Americans reject them. The result of the mid-term elections in November will indicate whether Americans are finally paying attention. If they are, democrats will lose seat upon seat in Congress, Governorships, and State legislatures. If not, the United States may just be heading to the same conclusion as other nations that fell under their own weight. Every American that wants this great nation to continue to provide rest for the weary, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness must not only make certain to cast their own ballot but should make certain to encourage any conservative they know to cast their ballots. Failure to right the ship may just doom this nation to become another in a long line of failed nations.

Democrats govern foolishly and selfishly. Democrats reject the authority of God. Democrats reject common sense. Continue to elect them as leaders and they will put an end to our cherished freedoms. We must understand that they intend to dominate us from within and vote accordingly.

 

Hate Destroys

 

It overwhelms reason.

The hyper-polarization of the left has further evolved into a raging hatred toward those on the opposite end of the political spectrum. During the State of the Union address to Congress, this nation witnessed the visceral animosity of the democrats. This conduct is more than appalling. This conduct is unbecoming of elected representatives. This conduct is driving a wedge, dividing this nation along ideological lines. Democrats have instigated a civil war by championing leftist ideology, and fighting against normalcy.

Leftist ideology has been embraced by the democrat party and embedded into the party’s platform. Leftist ideology is toxic to the freedoms enshrined in the US Constitution. Leftist ideology has as its goal to end democracy and replace it with a socialist “utopia.” If civil society fails to realize this, it will ultimately lead to the destruction of this nation. It is distressing that a political party would reject what has made this nation great for a scheme they believe will allow them to regain power. And if democrats truly believe that they are acting in the best interests of this nation, God help them!

Anger and hatred have consumed the democrat party. Targeting Christianity, immigration enforcement, conservative values, or their favorite target to hate, Donald Trump, betrays their inner bitterness against traditional western values. Like the radical Muslims, they deal in hatred against those opposed to their fanatical beliefs. Yes, the current state of the democrat party is guided by fanatical doctrine steeped in resentment, seeking to influence the populace to reject traditional values. Democrats reject the rule of law. Democrats seek to justify murder of the unborn and mutilation of children by citing a perverted version of “science.” Democrats seek to gain and maintain power, authority, and the financial benefits they derive from it.

Traditional values are a bane to the left. A color-blind society derails the left’s narrative of the oppressed versus the oppressor. The left thrives on conflict. Without it, they have no power to undermine a civil society. That is the goal of the left, to create conflict and chaos that will ultimately usher in and fundamentally transform this nation. The useful idiots created by the indoctrination of our public schools and universities march and protest against the very freedoms that afford them the right to protest. They shout slogans that are fed to them by leftist teachers and professors without understanding their meaning. Few can articulate why they are participating in the demonstrations.

Democrats support anarchists, drag queen story hour for children, and criminal illegal aliens. Democrat District Attorneys release violent felons back onto the streets to reoffend, victimizing the community they have sworn to protect. Democrats vilify law enforcement, particularly immigration agents. Democrats accuse white people of racism, homophobia, and “white supremacy.” Democrats reject the American people and cast their lot with America haters. And democrats are terminally afflicted by Trump Derangement Syndrome. Democrats should be rejected and voted out of office.

Democrats have rejected God and fallen in league with Satan. Their party platform is pleasing to the evil one. Ignore the danger that the democrat party presents to the longevity of our Republic at your own peril. If allowed to, they will destroy this nation. John F. Kennedy’s democrat party no longer exists. Like cancer, the democrat disease has metastasized, and to save the patient, must be excised. The November 2026 election may be our last opportunity to either turn the democrats away from the evil they have embraced or give them a mandate to continue their chosen path. The choice is yours.

Funny how life can often be boiled down into Star Trek episode plot lines. Back to the Borg, the all-conquering aliens that will assimilate all cultures into their own. Islam is less a religion than it is a political ideology. Muslims have emigrated throughout the western world like locusts, rejecting each welcoming nation’s culture and refusing to integrate into society. Like the Borg, their end goal is to overcome all who refuse to accept their prophet Mohammed, acknowledge Allah as their god, and replace the current government with Islamic rule.

Sexual assaults in European nations that welcome Muslim immigrants have exploded, with Muslim rape gangs committing multiple offenses. Islam apparently relegates women to less than human status. The Quran (4:34) gives license for men to subjugate women and encourages husbands to use corporal punishment to ensure their obedience. So much for equality.

Islam rejects homosexuality outright and instructs its followers to stone or to kill those transgressors.  Quran 7:80-84 "...For ye practice your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds.... And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone)"

In 2025, followers of Islam, the alleged religion of peace, perpetrated 2010 attacks in 48 countries, killing 14004 and injuring 6653. So much for the religion of peace. Peace to Islam is simply uttering the phrase, “Peace be upon him.” But what of the moderate Muslims? They are few and far between and their failure to condemn violence in the name of Allah is deafening.

In the Middle Ages most Christians could not read. They depended upon Catholic priests to impart Biblical teachings to them. Their spiritual life was dependent upon Catholic church doctrine and traditions. Yet, mass was performed in Latin, a language few understood, until the 20^th century. It is not surprising that many wayward traditions, such as indulgences, arose during this time. Many Muslim clerics preach Islamism, a more radical and abhorrent interpretation of the Quran and how Muslims are to interact in society. This is how radicals are created and encouraged.

Islam instructs its followers to reject everything that makes western society and the United States unique. Tolerance is not to be offered, particularly to the non-believer. Muslims are using the freedoms of western society to overthrow the very nations that welcome them. Islam is antithetical to a free and open society.

The Bible encourages hospitality. It also advises to use wisdom to avoid thieves or those who would cause you or your family harm. One must apply discernment when offering charity, serving those who truly are in need.

As we open our nation to refugees, we must make certain to offer our freedoms to those who would accept them gratefully, agree to obey our laws, and integrate into society. Muslims that refuse should have our hospitality revoked and sent back to their country of origin. Muslims stand accused of defrauding US taxpayer of tens of $Billions. Yet their Quran (16:106, 3:54, 3:28) condones and even encourages dishonesty and deceitfulness when dealing with non-believers in order to gain their trust so that they can be defeated. The tenets of Islam do not comport with a civil society. The behaviors that it condones must be rejected. Islam is wedded to 7^th Century conduct that is wholly unacceptable today. Islam cannot and will not co-exist with our values.

Allowing Islam to grow and spread within this nation will ultimately concede our way of life to an Islamic theocracy. We need to look no further than the European nations that have opened their borders and have been overwhelmed by the Muslim horde. If Muslim have their way, the United States will be no more. Muslim clerics preach hate and denigrate the very nation offering them hospitality, yet we fail to understand the threat to this nation.

“Go along to get along.” “Don’t rock the boat.” “Someone else will do the right thing.” It is extremely easy to justify one’s actions, or the lack thereof. Our collective lack of courage to stand up and confront evil is appalling. Ignoring that which does not seem to directly affect us presently, even though others may be adversely affected, seems to be the calling card of our “I don’t want to get involved” society. Whether it be the parenting of our children without instilling proper Christian morals and values, or overparenting by enabling their children’s every whim, every new generation is becoming increasingly directionless.

The left’s strategy to infiltrate academia is bearing fruit as a generation of young people have embraces the siren song of socialism. Never mind that socialism’s failures are well documented, “democratic socialism” is the antidote to those disasters. Never mind the death and destruction socialism has left in its path throughout history. Never mind that eventually production slows to halt when workers realize that being productive is of no value to them. Welfare fails because recipients understand that working for a living is of no benefit when the government provides funding for food, housing, heat, and childcare? Socialism in any form cannot and will not ever succeed.

We are witnessing an insurgency, intent upon fundamentally transforming this nation, driven by a compliant, lying mainstream media, leftist democrat party leaders, and imbedded leftist bureaucrats in government and academia. Enabled by that cacophony of support, useful idiots become vigilantes, fighting against a perceived injustice to criminal illegal immigrants. These crazed individuals actually think they are performing a public service championing the “oppressed.” All they are doing is accomplishing the leftist goal of destroying the nation in which they enjoy the freedoms that allow them to act the fool. And if they somehow succeed in this “mission” they will discover that what you wish for is not the reality that one would hope it would be.

New York elected avowed socialist Zohran Mamdani as mayor of the largest city in the United States. It is early in his tenure, but the signs are pointing toward an epic financial collapse and a legacy of incompetent leadership. For those that propelled him to victory, it will be a rude awakening. Past performance is the best indicator of success or failure. New York was able to survive the inept leadership of Bill DeBlasio and his socialistic policies, but he was not a full-blown socialist. Until people wake up and realize that they are being lied to and used as pawns, we will ever steadily approach the point of no return. The United States is on track for another civil war, like it or not. The left is winning, and with every day that elapses, more join in this movement toward socialism.

Democrats are indelibly the party of the left. The left’s mantra is socialism. Supporting democrats, or opposing Republicans, enables and emboldens the left. Far too many conservatives sit on the sideline, neglect their civic duty to vote, and acquiesce to the insanity of the left. This is a struggle to maintain the freedoms granted by our Constitutional Republic. Once it is gone, it will be gone forever. We only need to look to the European Union to see how easy it is to lose cherished freedoms, if taken for granted.

Socialism is a pox upon humanity that quashes the incentive of the individual to succeed. Nations fail under the weight of the tyranny necessary to maintain order when socialist states begin to collapse. This is inevitable for the United States if we fail to make our voices heard. California, Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, and Illinois are prime examples of leftist democrat “leadership.” These are harbingers of what is yet to come for everyone else in this once great “shining city on a hill” if we stand by and allow it to happen. The story is not yet set in stone. Our fate is not yet determined. Will you stand firm and vote for representatives that share your values that support liberty and the rule of law? Or will you sit back and watch our country burn?

Is encouraged in democrat run cities and states.

As a Star Trek aficionado, I watched as the crew of the Enterprise fought against the Borg, a species that forcefully assimilated other cultures into their own humanoid/machine hybrid species. “We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.” Overpowering force and technology made the Borg virtually invulnerable. While the Borg forcibly assimilated, America has welcomed many people from different cultures to add value to our community. Most immigrants have done just that.

As this nation grew in the late 19^th and early 20^th centuries, immigrants were necessary to fuel the engine that was America. Immigrants entered through Ellis Island in New York, where they were processed, issued identification, had to demonstrate financial stability, pass a criminal history test, and were vetted for any infectious diseases. Those immigrants that passed admission tended to reside together in close knit communities, maintaining many of their customs. Those immigrants also felt a strong bond with their adopted country and made it imperative that they learn, speak, and write in the native language, English.

Fast forward to today and many of these “new breed” of immigrants have no desire to assimilate into American culture and society. Bi-lingualism has eliminated any incentive for Spanish-speaking immigrants to learn English. Enclaves of immigrants, particularly the Muslim community, refuse to speak English and are hostile to outsiders. These “outsiders” are the citizens of the nation that welcomed them in the first place! Democrat run cities and states acquiesce to these groups, allowing them to create their own government within their community that rejects the rule of law and replaces it with Sharia law.

Corrupt Somali Muslims in Minnesota and other states stand accused of running elaborate welfare and covid funding fraud schemes, with losses that reach into the $Billions. Over 80% of Somali immigrants collect some form of welfare, even after ten years of residency in the US. Some of that money is sent back to Somalia, accounting for over 10% of Somalia’s annual budget. More of those funds are redirected to Al-Shabaab, a Somali terrorist organization, making the Minnesota taxpayer their single largest funding source. Immigrants that cheat, lie, and steal from their benefactors forfeit any right to live in a civilized society.

Immigration law requires all immigrants to lawfully enter through a port of entry, comply with US immigration laws, follow all procedures necessary to apply for a visa, have the ability to be lawfully employed, and are not eligible for welfare benefits. Today, you can throw those rules out the nearest window. On the very day Joe Biden took office in 2021, the floodgates were opened and millions of illegal immigrants began to flood into the nation from our southern border. Over the next four years immigration officers were overwhelmed by the onslaught of 5-10000 illegal immigrants daily. Immigration officers became babysitters and paper pushers, processing the illegal immigrants that were then transported throughout our nation without proper vetting or identification. Tens of thousands of unaccompanied immigrant children remain unaccounted for to this day. This was an intentional and deliberate act on the part of the Biden administration.

The left acts with deference to any “oppressed” or “victim” class. All immigrants, that are not white, are considered “protected” classes. Assimilation is tacitly discouraged by democrat leaders. Immigrants have no incentive, whatsoever, to become part of the American community. Anyone asserting that immigrants should assimilate is met with derision from the left with accusations of racism and white supremacy. That is likely why Tim Walz’s administration in Minnesota ignored the corruption in the Somali Muslim community even after numerous whistleblowers brought the fraud to light. Better to be politically correct than confront criminality, I guess. So, in response, Walz now wants to invite even more Somalis to Minnesota. Good luck with that!

The Quran views non-believers as infidels, and if infidels fail to convert, all bets are off. Apparently, Islam teaches that non-believers are, somehow, less than human and are to be despised. Jesus said the second most important commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself. Apparently, the Quran disagrees. Those who would pervert the freedoms afforded in this society and use them against the very people who welcome them, are ingrates, unworthy of the privilege of living in America. Those who support them are simply useful idiots. The true motives of Islamists have never been more apparent and they must be rejected.

Islamism has no place in the western world. American values conflict with the tenets of Islam. Christian values conflict with Islam. Islamic theology devalues anyone who is a non-believer. Islam should and must be rejected. But those trapped within Islam are still our neighbors, beguiled by a false religion. They are lost without Jesus Christ. We are called to plant the seeds of faith, by our actions and words so that the Holy Spirit can nurture those seeds and lead them to God. We can reject Islamism without rejecting those who practice Islam. While they are not yet our brothers and sisters, they are our neighbors, lost without Jesus.

We cannot, of our own volition, bring the lost to Him. But with our actions we can set examples for the lost to see. We do not, by exercising our imperfect earthly tolerance and acceptance, acquiesce that those lost in false religions as our brothers and sisters. Those who do not belong to the fellowship of believers remain our neighbors, who we are to love as ourselves. We should not engage in futile arguments. When our neighbors are being led astray, we need to gently instruct with Christian love. Customs antithetical to societal values must be rejected. Assimilation is necessary to become a part of the community. Adherence to societal norms may be what is necessary to start immigrants on a path that leads to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

“Peaceful” Islam is exploiting our tolerance to conquer us.

Tactics used by conquerors varied with the times and situation at hand. Overwhelming force could be used to destroy an enemy's will to fight. A siege would cause kingdoms to exhaust resources until they had no choice but to surrender. Spies were employed to infiltrate the enemy’s populace to collect intelligence or cause havoc. Radical extremists of the 60’s abandoned their strategy of committing violence to affect change in society by pivoting to infiltrating academia, politics, and the media. Democratic socialists appeal to those on the lower rungs of society with promises to take from the rich and give to them, with the goal of replacing our Constitutional Republic with socialism.

Many Muslims refuse to integrate and assimilate into western society. They form enclaves where it is not necessary to change their customs. The Muslim community in Dearborn, Michigan and Somali Muslims in Minneapolis, Minnesota are prime examples. The Somali community has conspired to commit welfare fraud on an extreme level, bilking taxpayers $Millions that are remitted back to Somalia and used to fund terrorist organizations. In Dearborn, Muslims hold a majority on the city council and are imposing their will upon the city. The lack of respect shown to non-Muslim residents is stunning. See this video. Dearborn City Council. Islamism is incompatible with western society, and “so-called” moderate Muslims are becoming increasingly rare.

Radical Islam, or Islamism, is a clear and present threat to western society. Not only are radical Islam purveyors, such as the Muslim Brotherhood, responsible for atrocities worldwide, they despise western society. By enlisting a plan to conquer the west from within and by exploiting our freedoms, they plot to embed themselves into political power. With that power, they will control the authority to enable them to destroy the very nation that welcomed them. On November 19^th, 2025, the Institute for the study of Global Antisemitism and Policy published a report on Muslim Brotherhood’s Strategic Entryism into North America. This report highlights radical Islam’s strategy to conquer the west without the necessity of an armed war.

It is time that any Muslim espousing radical Islam that is not naturalized, be deported. Any visas should be revoked, and deportation proceedings should begin. When Muslims use the freedoms that this nation affords to conspire to overthrow our nation, they are not welcome here. This is not some form of Islamophobia; it is simply the truth. Those visitors to the United States who despise the freedom that all Americans enjoy, should be deported. While western society is far from perfect, instituting Sharia law, which is the Muslim Brotherhood’s goal, should be fought against, by every American that values our way of life.

Women are subjugated and treated as property in many Islamic countries. Homosexuality is punishable by death. Violations of any number of Islamic laws necessitate unjust punishments, often carried out without any due process. We should never want to return to a darker time that radical Islam promotes. Boku Haram, a radical Islamic group from Africa is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Christians on that continent and continue with their genocide in Nigeria. To them, jihad against Christianity and any religion other than Islam, is fair game to kill and destroy. Islam, as it is preached today, is corrupted by radical clerics that promote intolerance and hate. Is this what the tolerant in our society strive for and support?

It appears that we are living in an episode of the Babylon Bee or that the news is simply an “Onion” parody, but the collective psychosis all around us is very real. The siren call of the left is to resist, conflating it as a call to a higher purpose, but they are not engaging in a fight to save democracy. They are obstructing a government that is endeavoring to return to its intended purpose, to be by, of, and for the people. These “useful idiots,” many paid to protest without the faintest idea of why they have gathered, vandalize the “oppressors,” and shout down all who dare to deliver truth. If only they would devote themselves to actions that benefit society, rather than continually sowing the seeds of discontent…

How is it appropriate for employees of the federal government to actively undermine a duly elected President’s administration by ignoring lawful directives should they disagree politically? Those federal employees serve the public, who elected the President with a majority and a clear mandate, are rejecting the will of the very people whose tax dollars provide their salaries. Why was there not a concerted effort by the bureaucratic state to obstruct the policies of the Biden administration? No matter who leads the nation from the oval office, policy directives, if lawful, must be implemented no matter what your personal beliefs may be.

How are we as a nation justifying deliberate defiance to the rule of law? Is law-breaking defensible if one’s political ideology is not aligned with the duly elected President? Hennepin County, Minnesota; Dylan Bryan Adams, a staffer with Governor Tim Walz’ administration is arrested after vandalizing several Teslas, causing over $20,000.00 damage. Milwaukee County Wisconsin; Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan willfully obstructs ICE agents with a valid detainer, by shielding an illegal alien and his attorney, allowing access through a non-public area for them to escape the courthouse out of sight of ICE agents. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers issues a directive to all State employees to not cooperate with immigration officials, along with guidance to obstruct, blatantly defying Federal immigration authority. What is the common denominator in each of these incidents, the elected officials are all democrats. Yes, those same democrats that rail about the rule of law and that President Trump is an existential threat to democracy pick and choose what laws they will obey.

Democrat Wisconsin Assemblyman Ryan Clancy said in an interview on CNN, “Judge Dugan is doing what all of us will be called to do in the days and weeks and months to come, and it’s standing up for people in our community that are being targeted by the Trump regime.” If that seems like a call to action against a duly elected President by an elected representative that is tantamount to treason, it is! This is today’s democrat party, the true threat to the rule of law and our Constitutional Republic. Millionaires Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’ anti oligarchy tour would be comical except that many truly believe their drivel. This is just more democrat lies that stoke the anger of those who would engage in violence against their perceived enemies.

It is time for our nation to wake up and reject the dangerous lies that the democrat party is spreading. It is time to realize that we have differing opinions and to respect those persons without vilifying them. It is time that the democrat party fulfill their oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

Democrats have chosen to disregard their oath of office by deliberately revolting against a President, elected by a majority of the people, by any means necessary. If they succeed, our nation will be lost. This is not a call to arms. This is a wakeup call to all citizens that love this nation and the freedoms it affords us. The evil that the democrats are abetting must be resisted. Any democrat politician that supports the treasonous actions of their party must be removed from positions of authority and this must occur at the ballot box. If the democrat party refuses to return to bipartisanship and work with Republican lawmakers, it is time for the democrat party to fade into the sunset. If their only option is to work against the people who elected them, then our only option is to help make them an insignificant minority.

“Wrong-think”

George Orwell simply missed his prediction by 40 years. Many quotes from his acclaimed dystopian novel, “1984,” ring true today. “The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power.”  This ideology is skillfully demonstrated by the democrat party as they will stop at nothing to gain and maintain power. One of the more insidious methods they employ, utilizing their accomplices in mainstream media and big tech, is engaging in all manner of censorship of speech in which they disagree. Control the narrative, control the people. From COVID, election integrity, abortion, or anything else deemed “dis/misinformation,” the marketplace of ideas is being destroyed by the very people who proclaim themselves to be the defenders of democracy.

There is good reason that free speech is enumerated in the 1^st Amendment. Without it we devolve into tyranny. When the government colludes with big tech and social media to generate a narrative supported by the current administration, we more closely mirror a communist state that controls the media. Control the narrative, control the people. Freedom of the press is also enumerated in the 1^st Amendment. “Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech.” Benjamin Franklin. Freedom of speech is at risk in this bastion of freedom. When the political narrative outweighs truth, we begin the slippery slope that leads to tyranny.

“Who controls the past, controls the future. Who controls the future, controls the past.” George Orwell. Cancel culture is engaged in a process to rewrite the past. Past practices that trigger leftists and would not be acceptable today, leads to the erasure of those who engaged in practices acceptable in their time. Books are banned. Statues torn down. Heroes of their time become reviled in ours. This more closely resembles the destruction of ancient sites perpetrated by ISIS during their reign in 2014. “Those who do not learn from the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them.” Our society is devolving before our very eyes and the democrat party is front and center, cheering on a fundamental transformation of America. There is a clear and present danger, occurring in plain sight, but many are just too blind to see it.

Indoctrinated college students spout epithets falsely accusing Israel of genocide and colonization of the ancestral home of the Palestinians. Nothing could be further from the truth. Man on the street interviews indicate just how well the Trump is evil and a threat to democracy narrative has taken hold of those too ignorant to form opinions of their own. A popular meme states, “What did the TV tell me to think today.” Humor becomes reality. Far too many people are influenced by a media complicit in amplifying the democrat party’s message. People falling prey to leftist propaganda are learning to hate themselves based upon gender, race, and sexuality. People are being reprogrammed by those who crave to rule over them.

Even if it was not his intention, Orwell was a prophet. These very things are happening at a breakneck pace in our society. The democrat party and their accomplices in the mainstream media and big tech are promoting the means toward the destruction of America. If we allow this conspiracy to come to fruition, it will end the last great bastion of freedom in this world. If we sit back and do nothing there will be no going back. This election is a fight against good and evil. Will you let evil prevail?

40 Years in the Wilderness

 

“And you shall remember the whole way that the LORD your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.” Deuteronomy 8:2

The Israelites were led to wander in the wilderness for forty years because God decided that the generation that was unbelieving should die off, rather than be able to take possession of the promised land. The fate of those unfaithful Israelites should ring especially relevant to what is occurring in our society today. Today’s church fails to recognize the war waged against God and His church, and in particular Christianity, by the left and their accomplices. And far too many churches respond by watering down their faith so as not to offend anyone. When charged with being closed minded and exclusive, too many churches respond by saying that there are many ways to salvation and that many religions actually worship the same God. “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 

Most Christians understand that abortion is the legalized murder of the most vulnerable of us all, unborn children. Most Christians understand the wickedness of this “lawful” medical procedure. Most Christians know that we are called to protect the innocent. Do we cry out to protect them? Even though most Christians abhor this aberration, most simply acquiesce and go on our way. Roe v Wade is the law of the land, isn’t it?

The COVID-19 pandemic allows for the government to close our churches, but keep open casinos. Small businesses are closed, but the big box stores are allowed to remain open. The government decides who is essential and who is not. All of us are essential to our God. And what do we, as Christians, do? We acquiesce and dutifully don our masks and socially distance, abiding by man’s law while we disregard God’s plan for us. “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.  And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:23-25 The more we fall prey to fear, the easier it is to be controlled. The longer we are kept away from corporate worship, the more we lose our faith. The more that man’s law supersedes God’s law, the easier it becomes to accept that which God condemns. We willingly accept all these violations of our protected First Amendment right of freedom to practice our religion in order to keep others safe and to prevent the spread, don’t we?

Behavior expressly condemned by Scripture is enacted into man’s law and far too many of God’s churches say “Amen!” Too many churches readily adopt secular understandings of gender and sexual identity, failing to uphold Scripture. Sin is sin, no matter how we sugarcoat it. We all fall short and instead of helping our brothers and sisters to the narrow path, we again acquiesce. It is the law of the land after all!

So many are praying fervently for God to reach down and bring sanity back to this world. We pray that God intervenes and saves this great nation. We pray the God will bring a revival and bring us closer to Him. I am praying just as ardently for God to reach down and save us. But we must understand our role in what is happening to this nation that was originally founded based upon Judeo Christian values. God cannot be happy with the utter collapse of our nation into secular recklessness. God cannot be happy when Christians continue to willingly fall into the trap set by the Evil One. God cannot be happy as Christians are content with the status quo that will continue to persecute Christianity.

Our government is filled with representatives that place their desires ahead of those they represent. Our government is filled with those who place their own glory before our God and King. Our government is not “by the people and for the people”, it has become party first, citizens last. Our government is crushing free speech, freedom of religion and our God given right to the pursuit of whatever happiness one is willing to attain. What has become so sad is that the “silent majority” refuses to speak up. What we have become is a lost generation, engaging in self worship, so enamored with our own wants and desires, that our inaction is actually destroying the very freedom that allows our selfishness to flourish.

We, as a nation, have fallen far from the narrow path and have run headlong to the wide path of acceptance, diversity and fairness that must have the Evil One laughing with glee. “Our lives begin to die the day we silent about things that matter.” Said Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in his “I have a dream” Speech. Will it be necessary for God to lead this nation into the wilderness for forty years, or will enough of His people stand up for what is right, true and pleasing to our Lord and Savior? If we Fail to act to elect those who respect and love the Lord and continue to place self-serving politicians that lead us to that wide path, we will surely need to be humbled and our hearts be tested. Only if we decide to respect and obey His commandments as a testament of our love for Him will God rescue our nation. Stay as we are and a reckoning is necessary. Silence will never bring about change, and most definitely will not be the impetus for a revival. It is long past due to end our silence and get involved. It’s never too late to convince God of our faith with our words and actions. Will you speak up for God?
