Confirmation Bias

 

When one refuses to listen….

The cancel culture embraced by the left are indicative of a much greater societal disease.
“Settled” science, Trump derangement syndrome, capitalism=evil, socialism=compassion, pro-Palestine-antisemitism, and men can be women requires the intentional rejection of rational thought. Lack of constructive discourse leads to the siloization of opinion and the villainization of those opposing viewpoints. We are losing the ability to comprehend the varied nuances of the issues confronting our society. When the free exchange of ideas is deliberately terminated and dissenting views ignored, society will be forever divided without the promise of compromise and without common ground.

“All of us share this world for but a brief moment in time. The question is whether we spend that time focused on what pushes us apart, or whether we commit ourselves to an effort -- a sustained effort -- to find common ground, to focus on the future we seek for our children, and to respect the dignity of all human beings.”

Believe it or not, this quote is attributed to our former “Divider in Chief,” Barack Obama. The man responsible for setting back race relations decades. Had he instead practiced what he preached, he could have been a great uniter of this nation. Instead, he focused on exploiting our differences, dividing Americans by skin color, sexual orientation, and economic class. Apparently, he learned much from fellow Chicagoan Saul Alinsky and his “Rules for Radicals.” The results of his efforts would make Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, and Satan proud.

The left refuses to listen to opposing viewpoints, shouting down those in which they disagree. Democrats refuse to find that common ground and reach a consensus that facilitates a better life for the Americans they are expected to represent. Without common ground, no agreement can be achieved. Without common goals, problems have no solutions. Without effective debate that listens to all sides, nothing can be accomplished. If one fails to listen and consider alternate avenues of thought, we, and especially government, will continue to fail to discover the remedies this nation requires.

There is a revival occurring with the young people of this nation. Despite the incessant leftist drumbeat of the legacy media and the Marxist indoctrination of academia, young people are awakening. The search to fill the emptiness in their hearts is being filled with many of them returning to Christ. Churches are filling and young people are engaged. This is the path to save this nation and re-reconcile with the God of creation. Former democrats are realizing that their party is no longer the party of John F. Kennedy but better resembles those worshipping at the altar of Baal. Hope is not lost, but we must be ever vigilant. The November mid-terms will be the tipping point. Will we return to be that “shining city on a hill” or will we sit back and let evil overcome?

Democrats continue to disregard the will of the people, pervert the Constitution with lawsuits before leftist judges appointed by democrat Presidents, and pursue policies that Americans reject. Democrats must be rejected at the ballot box. We have a choice to continue to regress as a nation or reembrace the Judeo-Christian values that made the United States the greatest nation on earth. The choice is yours.

Dazed and Confused

 

Innocents are being led astray.

“Jesus said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.” Luke 17:1-2.

Our adversaries stand to gain financially and in world status by destabilizing the fabric of society in the western world, particularly in the United States. Transgenderism, particularly when children are involved, is one of the most contentious subjects facing society. This nation has been divided along lines of political ideology as the left engages in a shadow civil war. March 4, 2024 Breitbart posted an article titled Blood Money.  Blood Money: Why the powerful turn a blind eye while China kills Americans, a book by Peter Schweizer, identifies two Communist China linked billionaires funding groups that are causing unrest in our streets and the effort to normalize the radical sexualization of children. American born Neville Roy Singham, an avowed Marxist and Joseph Tsai, the co-founder of Alibaba are using their $Billions to destabilize America.

Singham alone has funneled over $100Million to Marxist organizations like The People’s Forum, that has links to the Party of Socialism and Liberation. (PSL) The PSL declares on their website, “For the planet to live, capitalism must die” and the PSL leader encouraged its members to conduct a “militant defense of Communist China.” Interesting that Singham earned his wealth by using the capitalist system. Rather than being thankful for the inalienable rights that led to an opulent lifestyle and the freedoms guaranteed in his successful pursuit of happiness, he seeks to destroy the economic system he used to enrich himself from his home in Shanghai, China. Singham also seeks to promote the LGTBQ+ agenda, through events such as, Revolution 8-13, “Becoming Numerous: Legacies of queer and trans rebellion.”

Paraphrased from the book, “These pro-Beijing groups see the trans movement as a powerful force to advance their pro-Beijing agenda and push to further radicalize the movement. The unity of our movements terrifies them. Linking black radical movements, the anti-police movement, and socialism together is extremely, extremely dangerous to the capitalist order.”

In 2021, the Joe and Clara Tsai Foundation committed $220Million to their Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance, formed to support initiatives that include transgender female athletes as well as those assigned female at birth. It also funds Boston’s Children’s Hospital, that is at the forefront of gender reassigning surgeries for minors. The Communist China government has declared that the LGTBQ+ community is “an evil foreign influence that prevents young people from marrying and having children” and bans “effeminate men” on television, among other depictions that could be seen as pro-gay.” The Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance does not advocate for trans or LGTBQ+ rights in China.

The true adversaries of the United States do not seek to destroy us by the sword; they infiltrate to weaken and tear down our institutions and society by creating dissention and division. Using the very freedoms granted to our citizens by our Constitution, foreign actors use their wealth, usually gained through the free enterprise system, fund groups seeking to create chaos. Yet the legacy media, the Fourth Estate, academia, the democrat party, and Hollywood celebrities champion the “cause” of these anarchist groups. Most of us stand idly by, not paying any attention to the enemies within our gates that are working to undermine our Republic in plain sight.

These leftist organizations promote policies that harm the most vulnerable. They advocate for the murder of the unborn. Children are the victims of sexual mutilation and confusion from radical trans and LGBTQ+ ideology encouraged by leftist public school teachers and administrations. We are called to protect the most vulnerable of us, not stand idly by while their lives are ruined. Hate, anger, and division are the breeding grounds for the evil one. Evil must be called out and stood against. Leftist ideology sows the seeds of evil while blinding those who support and advocate for it. The strategy of infiltrating our nation will only succeed if we allow it. God’s people must wake up and make a stand. If we fail to acknowledge and resist the evil that is running rampant in our world, the evil one will succeed in turning good people to evil.

“It is true that I am an ordinary, weak human being, but I don’t use human plans and methods to win my battle. ⁴ I use God’s mighty weapons, not those made by men, to knock down the devil’s strongholds. ⁵ These weapons can break down every proud argument against God and every wall that can be built to keep men from finding him. With these weapons I can capture rebels and bring them back to God and change them into men whose hearts’ desire is obedience to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Hate Destroys

 

It overwhelms reason.

The hyper-polarization of the left has further evolved into a raging hatred toward those on the opposite end of the political spectrum. During the State of the Union address to Congress, this nation witnessed the visceral animosity of the democrats. This conduct is more than appalling. This conduct is unbecoming of elected representatives. This conduct is driving a wedge, dividing this nation along ideological lines. Democrats have instigated a civil war by championing leftist ideology, and fighting against normalcy.

Leftist ideology has been embraced by the democrat party and embedded into the party’s platform. Leftist ideology is toxic to the freedoms enshrined in the US Constitution. Leftist ideology has as its goal to end democracy and replace it with a socialist “utopia.” If civil society fails to realize this, it will ultimately lead to the destruction of this nation. It is distressing that a political party would reject what has made this nation great for a scheme they believe will allow them to regain power. And if democrats truly believe that they are acting in the best interests of this nation, God help them!

Anger and hatred have consumed the democrat party. Targeting Christianity, immigration enforcement, conservative values, or their favorite target to hate, Donald Trump, betrays their inner bitterness against traditional western values. Like the radical Muslims, they deal in hatred against those opposed to their fanatical beliefs. Yes, the current state of the democrat party is guided by fanatical doctrine steeped in resentment, seeking to influence the populace to reject traditional values. Democrats reject the rule of law. Democrats seek to justify murder of the unborn and mutilation of children by citing a perverted version of “science.” Democrats seek to gain and maintain power, authority, and the financial benefits they derive from it.

Traditional values are a bane to the left. A color-blind society derails the left’s narrative of the oppressed versus the oppressor. The left thrives on conflict. Without it, they have no power to undermine a civil society. That is the goal of the left, to create conflict and chaos that will ultimately usher in and fundamentally transform this nation. The useful idiots created by the indoctrination of our public schools and universities march and protest against the very freedoms that afford them the right to protest. They shout slogans that are fed to them by leftist teachers and professors without understanding their meaning. Few can articulate why they are participating in the demonstrations.

Democrats support anarchists, drag queen story hour for children, and criminal illegal aliens. Democrat District Attorneys release violent felons back onto the streets to reoffend, victimizing the community they have sworn to protect. Democrats vilify law enforcement, particularly immigration agents. Democrats accuse white people of racism, homophobia, and “white supremacy.” Democrats reject the American people and cast their lot with America haters. And democrats are terminally afflicted by Trump Derangement Syndrome. Democrats should be rejected and voted out of office.

Democrats have rejected God and fallen in league with Satan. Their party platform is pleasing to the evil one. Ignore the danger that the democrat party presents to the longevity of our Republic at your own peril. If allowed to, they will destroy this nation. John F. Kennedy’s democrat party no longer exists. Like cancer, the democrat disease has metastasized, and to save the patient, must be excised. The November 2026 election may be our last opportunity to either turn the democrats away from the evil they have embraced or give them a mandate to continue their chosen path. The choice is yours.

Your Lying Eyes

 

Believe what you are told, not what you see.

The moral of the story is that in a civil society you must obey the lawful orders of police officers. Comply and you will not die. After the tragic, but entirely preventable shooting in Minneapolis, democrats would have you ignore obvious exculpatory video evidence that the ICE officer was justified in shooting a citizen attempting to strike him with her car. Democrats have chosen to become the existential threat to democracy that they have falsely accused Donald Trump of. Their over-the-top rhetoric not only approaches a call for insurrection; it is absolutely a call for citizens to engage in civil unrest and/or violence to obstruct immigration and law enforcement by any means necessary.

Democrats and their leftist allies have transitioned from the all-out attempts at derailing Trump’s agenda to full out crazy town. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz all but declares war on the federal government. Hennepin County District Attorney Mary Moriarty declares that she will lead a counter-investigation. Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison demands all evidence and to oversee a federal investigation in which he has no jurisdiction. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey prejudges the shooting and accuses the ICE officer of murder, even after viewing video that exonerates the officer. Other democrat run city officials bluster to placate the mob, promising to arrest and fight any immigration enforcement action. Are these people living in an alternate reality?

Leftists organize and train irrational useful idiots in guerilla tactics to be foot soldiers, putting their lives at risk, while turning them loose against ICE officers. Anarchists, who could care less about “undocumented immigrants,” are intent upon destroying the foundations of a civil society, creating havoc and chaos. Loud mouth fools further incite the mob, cheered on as they encourage the mob’s anger to a fever pitch. The mob’s escalating violence threatens their own wellbeing and that of those around them. And when democrat run city officials stand down the police and allow the mob to take control, reason and violence spin out of control. Without consequences, mob rule replaces the rule of law.

These protests are not against a tyrannical government. These protests are not advocating against unreasonable application of just laws. These protests intend to create chaos to disrupt civil society and foment violence in the furtherance of destroying capitalism and replacing it with a socialist “Utopia.” These useful idiot foot soldiers are advocating for their own country’s demise and elimination of the freedoms this nation affords. The very freedoms misused by those who would conquer us and impose their idea of a “just” society. One that divides by race, class, and ideology.

Vigilantism does not comport with a society based upon the rule of law. The only time a positive outcome occurs when people take matters into their own hands is in Hollywood productions. In film, the hero seldom is seriously injured or dies. In reality, the consequences are dire, unless you happen to reside in democrat run cities where law is not enforced. Those who challenge law enforcement provoke escalating force that is necessary to protect the officer and citizenry, and to effect an arrest. Fighting the police will lead to negative consequences for the offender. In other words, if you comply, you will not die.

Yet, democrats are so intent upon destroying Trump that they are willing to burn down the country to do so. Democrat’s gravy train of corruption derived wealth and illicit benefits outweigh any semblance of duty to uphold their oath to uphold the Constitution. Fulfilling their role as the loyal opposition takes a back seat to opposing Trump on everything. Democrats will incite the unpredictable, villainize Jews and Christians, promote sexual deviancy, protect criminals, support foreign tyrants, and defend the indefensible. Democrats will obfuscate, obstruct, and lie whenever it suits their need. They are plainly in league with Satan and if they refuse to return to God, they must be shunned.

Yet, we are still charged to love our neighbor and help lead the lost to Christ. How do we fight against this evil overtaking our nation while fulfilling our duty as Christians to love our neighbor as ourselves? When Jesus sent out the twelve disciples out to minister to the people, he said, “Whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy there and stay at his house until you move on. As you enter the home, greet its occupants. If the home is worthy, let your peace rest on it, but if it is not, let your peace return to you. And if anyone will not welcome you or heed your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town. Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.” Matthew 10:11-15.

This nation will not be lost to the evil one if evil is confronted and called out for what it is. People overcome by evil are lost, apart from God, but God still loves everyone unconditionally. But those overcome by evil must repent and return to Christ. We cannot judge, especially those who are lost. But we do have a responsibility to share the word so that those seeds of faith may be nurtured by the Holy Spirit. Those who continue to reject the Father and His one true Son are condemned.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever practices the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has done has been accomplished in God.” John 3:16-21.

It is incumbent upon us to shine the light in the darkness so that all may see. Evil cannot exist within the light of truth. Do not acquiesce to the evilness of the world. Be that light. Proclaim God’s truth. Plant the seeds of faith by your actions, speech, and faith. Love your neighbor as yourself, no matter how difficult it may seem to be at times.

Mimic

 

Hear evil, repeat that evil, then act out with evil intent.

If you tell a lie often enough, some people will believe it, particularly weak-minded individuals. Leaders have a responsibility to be judicious with their words. Words spoken by leaders can carry great weight, as people trust that their leaders work for the betterment of all. Leaders must be first to condemn violence and to be the “cooler heads that prevail” in lowering the temperature. Leaders cannot be the inciters of violence by rhetoric that vilifies those of differing opinions. Yet, that is the modus operandi of the democrat party. The uptick in violence by the left is a direct result of unhinged democrat’s rants that are unduly influencing those who would commit acts of violence to “save democracy from tyrants.” Words may not be violence, but rhetoric that incites violence can be just as dangerous as wielding a firearm.

Satan has manifested himself in leftism and in the leadership of the democrat party. The willing pawns that conduct the actual violence are simply following the marching orders of their democrat leaders. Funding that enables these anarchists are funneled through a never-ending list of NGOs and non-profit organizations, using funding obtained through government grants and leftist philanthropists. Yes, US tax dollars are diverted from funding intended to be allocated to domestic and foreign programs. We are funding the very people intent on destroying this nation, when all the while democrat leaders act as their cheerleaders.

The father of lies shapes the very platform of the democrat party as they advocate the murder of the unborn, promote the mutilation of gender confused children, support lawless District Attorneys, encourage violence against law enforcement, deny God, and oppose the nuclear family.  

“You are guilty of lying, violence, and murder. You go to court, but you do not have justice on your side. You depend on lies to win your case. You carry out your plans to hurt others. You are always planning something evil, and you can hardly wait to do it. You never hesitate to murder innocent people. You leave ruin and destruction wherever you go, and no one is safe when you are around. Everything you do is unjust. You follow a crooked path, and no one who walks that path will ever be safe.” Isaiah 59:3-4, 7-8

There are many verses in the Bible warning us of the very behaviors that the left engages in and the democrat party tacitly supports, yet there are those who believe and teach that the Bible is outdated and not pertinent today. When the democrat party chose to fall in league with Satan, they sold their collective souls for power, wealth, and position. Those who choose to vote for democrats are simply useful idiots that are being used against their own self-interests.

Leftists and those who gravitate to and align themselves with leftist ideology have one thing in common; Rage and hatred toward those perceived to be oppressors, which include pretty much every normal person in this nation. When one displays negative emotions, it opens an avenue for Satan to unduly influence that person. The father of lies loves division. He absolutely loves it when we hate, rather than love our neighbor. Once embedded into the psyche of a person influenced by negative emotions, Satan will build upon that negativity, leading that person further apart from God. The distinction between right and wrong, good and evil, will be blurred, amplifying that negativity within that person.

Evil must be resisted. Evil must be exposed for what it is. Evil must be overcome with the love of Christ. Evil is driving the left. The left must be rejected. The democrat party has adopted the tenets of the left and uses those tactics to gain and maintain their positions of authority. If the democrat party triumphs, we all lose. Democrats must never again hold power. Democrats must be voted out of office, wholesale or they will never return to God. We must shake the dirt off our sandals and expose them for what they are. Their deeds need to come into the light for all to see.

Satan has unduly influenced a generation, leading them far away from God. The hatred manifesting itself within the left has been allowed to fester and grow due to the inaction of God’s people. We have stood idly by as Satan has placed a stranglehold on our neighbors and even some of our brothers and sisters in Christ. We cannot be silent any longer! Satan depends upon good Christian’s silence to succeed in his wicked schemes. This nation was founded upon a covenant with God. The founding fathers, through prayer and righteous debate, established this Constitutional Republic as one nation, under God. There is still time to save this nation. There is still time to plant the seeds that can take root in our neighbors that have become manipulated by the evil one. There is still time to reach out in Christian love that can lead the lost back to Christ.

Jesus told His disciples in the Great Commission, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20. He was also speaking to all future generations. Will you listen and act?

 

 

 

Lost

 

Evil shapes a generation.

In the 2011 film, “the Adjustment Bureau,” Matt Damon and Emily Blunt are cast as star crossed lovers. A group of “Angels?” influence people to live their lives according to the “Plan” created by the “Chairman.” The “Plan” was to prevent the two from establishing a relationship, but unfortunately Damon discovers their intent and rebels. Spoiler alert, eventually the “Chairman” relents and alters the “Plan” so that Damon and Blunt can live happily ever after. Life is often portrayed as so simple in Hollywood movies, but at times it does loosely mirror reality. This movie is Hollywood’s attempt to show that the “Chairman” (God) has a “Plan” (which eliminates free will) that preordains the outcomes of our lives.

While everything that happens is part of the plan God has for this world, free will allows humans to deviate from God’s preferred outcome. Rest assured that everything that happens, good or bad, God uses to temper and mold His children. And we are all children of God. All are loved unconditionally by the creator of the universe, even those who commit heinous acts against their fellow brothers and sisters. No one is inherently evil, but anyone can be influenced by the evil one. God wants all His children to be saved. No matter what you do, you cannot make God love you any more, nor can you make Him love you any less than He already does.

Unfortunately, a generation has been unduly influenced by the evil one with gleeful assistance from academia, mainstream media, and, of course, all coordinated by the left as they strive to accomplish Satan’s preferred “plan.” Satan’s plan is simple, deceive and mislead. Encourage humankind to replace truth with lies. Exchange good for evil. Yet, there are those so gullible as to accept that which is undeniably false as right and good. Young people, indoctrinated by public education decry the freedoms provided by our Constitutional Republic while supporting socialism and all other manner of leftist ideology. Murdering an unborn child becomes abortion. Children are encouraged to experiment with transsexuality and homosexuality by leftist public teachers, without parental notification. See a pattern developing here?

Successfully tempting humankind to engage in sin is as simple as when the serpent deceived Eve. Become like God and make your own rules. If it feels good, do it. Sexual pleasure is the prize Satan offers to humankind to engage in and enjoy. And it has been successful beyond his wildest dreams. Homosexuality becomes normalized and celebrated. Transvestites are now drag queens and engage in story time, invited to public libraries and schools to read books to children in their full, over the top costumes. Sexual “hook ups” are promoted through dating apps to engage in “no strings attached” sexual trysts. Unwed mothers and baby mamas replace the nuclear family in the inner city. Pornography is a multi-billion-dollar industry.

God is a loving God, slow to anger and abounding in love and faithfulness. Satan thrives on anger and hatred. The left is filled with rage and hatred. Perfect pawns for the evil one. Antifa, Black Lives Matter, Palestine “Hamas” supporters, and anti-Ice are committing violence that fills Satan with delight. Despite rampant violence, democrat party leaders stoke that anger with over-the-top rhetoric directed at their political opponents with the intent to create havoc. Weak-minded individuals have and will continue to act out in violence, incited to do so by democrat leaders who apparently view this as a valid strategy to gain and/or maintain power.

The democrat party has hitched their wagon to the evil that leftism promotes. The refusal of democrats to vote for a continuing resolution to fund the government should tell you all you need to know about the objectives of that wayward party. When illegal aliens are more important than American citizens demonstrates that democrats have failed in their responsibility to represent those who voted them to represent them in Congress, State, and local government.

The only way to end this insanity is to remove from office those democrats that support this madness. The only way to return to the path God desires is to get involved and support leaders who love God. The only way to eliminate this rot from our nation is to vote democrats out of elected office. That is the only way they will relent from this recklessness and return to a semblance of normalcy.

“If indeed they have escaped the corruption of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, only to be entangled and overcome by it again, their final condition is worse than it was at first. / It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than to have known it and then to turn away from the holy commandment passed on to them.” 2 Peter 2:20-22

The democrat party has left the Lord and has decided to be in league with Satan. But their rebuke of God’s will can be reversed. They can accept God’s plan and reject Satan. Unless they return to God, they must be shunned and removed from power. Perhaps then they will see the error of their ways.

Evil is Real

Satan thrives within the invective spewed by the left.

In 1965, radio host Paul Harvey prophesized what the left and now the democrat party espouses today. If you are unsure that the democrat party has left the farm and, in truth, hates the very nation that they took an oath to represent, read the following transcript.

 “If I were the devil … If I were the Prince of Darkness, I’d want to engulf the whole world in darkness. And I’d have a third of its real estate, and four-fifths of its population, but I wouldn’t be happy until I had seized the ripest apple on the tree — Thee. So I’d set about however necessary to take over the United States. I’d subvert the churches first — I’d begin with a campaign of whispers. With the wisdom of a serpent, I would whisper to you as I whispered to Eve: ‘Do as you please.

To the young, I would whisper that ‘The Bible is a myth.’ I would convince them that man created God instead of the other way around. I would confide that what’s bad is good, and what’s good is ‘square.’ And the old, I would teach to pray, after me, ‘Our Father, which art in Washington…

And then I’d get organized. I’d educate authors in how to make lurid literature exciting, so that anything else would appear dull and uninteresting. I’d threaten TV with dirtier movies and vice versa. I’d pedal narcotics to whom I could. I’d sell alcohol to ladies and gentlemen of distinction. I’d tranquilize the rest with pills.

If I were the devil, I’d soon have families at war with themselves, churches at war with themselves, and nations at war with themselves; until each in its turn was consumed. And with promises of higher ratings I’d have mesmerizing media fanning the flames. If I were the devil, I would encourage schools to refine young intellects, but neglect to discipline emotions — just let those run wild, until before you knew it, you’d have to have drug sniffing dogs and metal detectors at every schoolhouse door.

Within a decade I’d have prisons overflowing, I’d have judges promoting pornography — soon I could evict God from the courthouse, then from the schoolhouse, and then from the houses of Congress. And in His own churches I would substitute psychology for religion and deify science. I would lure priests and pastors into misusing boys and girls, and church money. If I were the devil, I’d make the symbols of Easter an egg and the symbol of Christmas a bottle.

If I were the devil I’d take from those who have and give to those who want until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious.

And what do you bet I could get whole states to promote gambling as the way to get rich? I would caution against extremes and hard work in Patriotism, in moral conduct. I would convince the young that marriage is old-fashioned, that swinging is more fun, that what you see on the TV is the way to be. And thus, I could undress you in public, and I could lure you into bed with diseases for which there is no cure. In other words, if I were the devil I’d just keep right on doing what he’s doing.”

If democrats continue to hold elected office, dominate journalism and academia, evil will spread and thrive. No longer can good people remain silent. Evil hates the light and if exposed, the people will reject it. We cannot be afraid to call out the evil in this world. We must proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We must reach out to our neighbor with love so that those lost in the clutches of the evil one can awake and return to God. If we do nothing evil wins, and silence enables evil.

Fight the Good Fight

 

Surrender is not an option in the battle against evil.

Satan and his minions are relentless in their quest to prevent humanity from attaining a personal relationship with God. The evil one uses a variety of techniques to accomplish his goal to separate us from God. By exploiting our personal weaknesses, he will gain a foothold and use those vulnerabilities to his advantage. Much of our current culture embodies those strategies that drive that wedge between humanity and our God. Leftist and woke ideology advocates for many of the things that displease our Lord but most certainly please Satan. Humans have a survival instinct that allows us to fall prey to our innate selfishness. Most of our sin derives from that selfishness. That is how the evil one preys upon those who are weak in faith. He deceives humankind in the same way that he tempted Jesus in the wilderness. Those things of this world that each of us has the proclivity to desire are used to tempt and mislead us.

That is where the left and their unrelenting push for wokeness step in. The things of this world are used as a means to distract us from a right relationship with God. We are called to love our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our minds, and with all our strength. Secondly, we need to love our neighbors as ourselves. Jesus said, “No other commandments are greater than these.” There are enough things of this world that distract us and get in the way of our relationship with God. We don’t need the left to add to those distractions as they act as agents of evil.  Wokeness has been adopted by the democrat party and their embrace of that evil is tearing apart this nation. And what exactly are the tenets of leftist ideology and why are they so dangerous to our spiritual life? In order to ascertain what is pleasing to God and what is not we are to turn to Scripture. The following is a comparison of the principles supported by leftism to God’s word.

·         Transgenderism – You shall have no other gods before me. The new religion for the left, having overtaken climate “science.” Embracing transgenderism accomplishes a variety of objectives of the left; sowing division amongst families, placing the children as wards of the state, removing numerous individuals from the gene pool, as they will no longer be able to procreate, and rolling back protections for women.

·         Abortion – You shall not murder. Just as children were sacrificed to the Phoenician/Canaanite god “Moloch” in ancient times, 50 million children have been sacrificed to the god of abortion since Roe v Wade was established. You shall make no idols. A statue commemorating Justice Ruth Bader-Ginsberg, but overtly symbolizing abortion, was placed over the Appellate Division Courthouse in New York.  

 

·         “Anti”-racism, class, and political warfare – Love your neighbor as yourself. The left promotes reverse racism to attack the white majority, in particular white males, falsely calling out white supremacy, white privilege, and the “patriarchy.” They rail at the “1%” and disparage anything conservative.

·         Weaponization of law against political enemies, the “Deep State.” – Again, you shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. False claims against, not only Donald Trump, but Christians, conservatives, and anyone with the temerity to counter the lefts’ chosen narrative were in the crosshairs of the Department of Justice. Little old ladies praying in front of Planned Parenthood were sentenced to years in prison. Pre-dawn armed raids by the DOJ to terrorize dissenters, including a raiding a former President’s residence, were unconscionable and likely unlawful. Anarchists are often not charged with any crimes and no investigations to identify those who committed violence during riots while tirelessly searching for any persons that participated in the events at the Capitol on January 6^th, 2021.

·         Open borders – The same law applies both to the native-born and the foreigner residing among you. As in George Orwell’s Animal Farm, the Biden Administration reveals that they believe some of us are more equal than others. The US border is crossed illegally by millions of foreigners and the Biden administration rewards those who break our immigration laws with financial benefits and placement within the US borders, while over 300,000 immigrant children have been “lost”, likely being sexually trafficked.

·         CRT, DEI, AND ESG – You shall not covet. Love your neighbor. Critical Race Theory breeds hatred and unduly influences the teaching of our children. Racism is a learned behavior and CRT justifies racism against those deemed “privileged” to our most vulnerable. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies disproportionately elevates race, gender identity, and political ideology above merit and ability, diluting the competency of society’s workforce. Environmental, Social, and Governance policies place undue and burdensome regulations upon the business sector, increasing costs and undermining efficiencies.

·         Disregard of the rule of law – Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly. Democrat District Attorneys pervert the law, willfully ignoring the transgressions of those they deem to be marginalized by society. Along with the lack of enforcement comes anarchy and wanton crime, creating chaos for the law abiding in those cities.

·         Antisemitism and anti-Christianity – For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness. Anyone then who rejects this command does not reject man, but God, the very One who gives you His Holy Spirit.” Democrats have consistently rejected God’s word and have supported LGBTQ+, drag queens, gay marriage, and the like, while they champion antisemitism and disparage Christianity.

·         Free speech - We will no longer be influenced by people who use cunning and clever strategies to lead us astray.  Instead, as we lovingly speak the truth, we will grow up completely in our relationship to Christ, who is the head. Government propaganda and censorship is embraced by the legacy media and the democrat party falsely claiming it is imperative that mis and disinformation be controlled. They believe the people are too stupid to be able to ascertain right from wrong, fact from fiction.

To resist evil, it must first be identified and targeted. The democrat party has decided to embrace the evil that is leftist ideology. Until such a time as democrats choose to moderate their positions, return to serve the Lord, return to become actual public servants, and reject the immorality that they embrace, we must resist them with all our strength.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Ephesians 6:13

 

Suffer the Children

 

Protecting the innocent.

Societal norms demand that we protect the innocent. Those who cannot defend themselves need our protection. That is why a parent will defend their children with their lives. Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.” Mark 10:14-16. Children are our most important resource. Without children, humanity ends. Why is that the left conspires to eradicate the most vulnerable among us? Why is the wanton murder of children waiting to be born, or what is otherwise known as abortion, so important to them? Why are they embracing a death cult?

Abortion has nothing to do with women’s reproductive health care. In 1973, Roe v. Wade determined that abortion was legal. Since then, over 50 million children waiting to be born have been brutally murdered. Abortion is a brutal procedure that mirrors some of the torture techniques that were used in the Middle Ages. 50 million children murdered by abortion is greater than 14% of the current population of the United States. How many doctors, scientists, teachers, caregivers, plumbers, electricians, or other positive contributors to our society have had their lives snuffed out before they could even begin? Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness apparently is not equally applied when an unborn child is added to the equation. Selfishness triumphs with the “procedure” known as abortion. It truly is one of the most evil “elective medical procedures” that humanity has concocted.

Why does a women’s right to choose trump the inalienable human rights of the child within her womb? What have we become when there is not a second thought to that life? Less than 1% of abortions are performed due to pregnancies caused by incest, rape, or to save the life of the mother. Most of the pro-choice argument holds little to no water to bolster claims that abortion is necessary to protect women’s reproductive rights. It is simply an easy way to neglect responsibility for a lifestyle that is in direct conflict with God’s intent. Sexual relations have been reserved for one man and one woman within the confines of the sacrament of marriage. Both parties conceive and raise their children and are responsible to instill within them morals, values, and a love of God. It is obvious that there is a concerted effort to eliminate God and any values instilled by our Creator. The evil one is flourishing in this world.

Every single pro-choice advocate was once a child in her mother’s womb waiting for his/her birth. Each of them had a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Each of them could have had their lives ended if their mother did not want to be inconvenienced by the responsibilities of raising a child. Selfishness is our greatest sin and easiest to commit. In this society it is all about pleasing oneself first. “Look at me. I am wonderful. I can be anything I want to be.” In this wicked generation, God is but an afterthought. Sex is a game for anyone to play at any time. Hookups, Tinder, and the like are pre-emptively destroying future relationships. Satan must be so proud.

In its innate selfishness, “woke society” believes that biology can be overturned and gender reversed. “God must have made a mistake, and that mistake must be corrected to my satisfaction.” What is a woman? Apparently, whatever one wants it to be. Transgenderism is a mental disease. Less than a decade ago gender dysphoria was considered a psychiatric disorder. Now, children, often with encouragement of woke teachers, are allowed to decide if and when they are to undergo permanent life-altering treatments, such as puberty blockers and surgeries to “change” to their desired gender. Never mind that those altered will never be able to have normal sexual relations, give birth, or sire children. The world is on fire and society pours gasoline on it!

The world needs God. The world needs a Savior. The world needs to come back to Him if we intend to overcome evil. Without God, we fight alone. With Him, all things can be accomplished. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:10-12

And yet there are those who say that the Bible is irrelevant in these enlightened times.

 

Absurdity

 

Time to open some eyes!

The left has decided to forcefully resist the newly elected Trump administration at all cost. Democrat mayors and governors are determined to “Trump proof” their jurisdictions, refuse to cooperate with Federal law enforcement, and bluster that Trump will have to go through them first. This is more than irrational; this demonstrates that democrats will blatantly disregard the rule of law. Hollywood personalities evidence an utter lack of reality by rebuking anyone with the audacity to acknowledge the legitimacy of a duly elected President. Mainstream media amplifies the cacophony of criticism to the new administration’s cabinet choices, attempting to persuade their guests and viewers to believe their debunked lies. Democrats in Pennsylvania continue to count invalid votes in direct violation of law, even after the State’s Supreme Court ordered them to stand down, in an effort to save a Senate seat for democrat Bob Casey.

It has never been more readily apparent that democrats intend to undermine our nation by refusing to abide by the rule of law, the thread that holds our society together. When the people refuse to obey the law, anarchy ensues. To what end? Not even the most ardent democrat truly believes that Donald Trump is tantamount to Hitler and that he is a threat to democracy. This is simply a gambit by the democrat party to maintain power and rule against the will of the people. This is a strategy to pit citizen against citizen to utilize the divide and conquer philosophy. When the people fight amongst themselves it allows evil an opportunity to inflict damage. After all, Jesus said, “Every kingdom divided against itself is headed for destruction, and no city or house divided against itself will stand.”

Godless democrats revel in the murder of the unborn, attempt to normalize the medical mutilation of children, ignore laws in which they disagree, and oppose the open exchange of ideas, or engage in what is better known as government censorship. That people continue to support a political party that has an agenda to restrict the fundamental rights of the citizens they are charged to represent is absolutely mind boggling. Supporting politicians that deliberately ignore the will of the people and disrespect the God of creation and electing them to an office that allows them authority, greatly displeases the Lord.

Yet, the weak-minded among us continue to ignore reality and engage in all manner of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Satan must be so proud! Our enlightened society has fallen so far in such a short time. Now that democrats are no longer in power, it is time to begin a movement to return to the founder’s intention of a Constitutional Republic, based on Judeo-Christian values. Now is the time for good Christians to arise and begin a revival in this nation. Now is the time to plant the seeds of Christ’s love, with our actions and words, to the lost. While the left cancels and demeans their own supporters that voice an opinion other than their established narrative, we need to show them that there is a community that will welcome them and that there is a God that loves them unconditionally.

We are called to use our voice to share the Good News and to use our time, talents, and resources to help build His kingdom on this side of eternity. God desires that all of His children come to know Him. The very least we can do is to offer an open door for them to find Him. We must be ready and equipped to engage in conversation with those who do not know Jesus. Non-judgmental responses to those who are loved by God but do not love Him. Sound direction for those searching for themselves and their identities who are unaware that their pursuit is, in fact, for a relationship with Jesus.

Jesus said, “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise, they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.” Matthew 13:14-15

If we fail to plant the seeds of faith in those overcome with the world, we have failed our Lord and Savior and neglected His charge for us to proclaim the Gospel to the world!

Mainstream media promotes evil.

Most of the national media paints a narrative that favors democrats, liberalism, and some would argue, promotes leftist ideology. They denigrate all things Christian, conservative, and anything else they deem to be detrimental to their agenda. Cheerleading from “news” outlets MSNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, New York Times, Washington Post, and others, has enabled evil to permeate our society and begin a path toward the fundamental transformation of this nation. If the mainstream media was fair and balanced, democrat policies would be exposed for the failures they truly are, and always have been. If the mainstream media was fair and balanced, a cognitively challenged Joe Biden would never have been elected President. If the mainstream media was fair and balanced, the vile rhetoric that led to the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, would not have happened.

The 1^st Amendment is an instrument that can cut both ways. Those who pervert that privilege and hide behind the veil of free speech, profess that which the evil one favors. Words do have consequences when lies are repeatedly reported as facts. Weak minded individuals can be unduly influenced when they believe the propaganda spewed by media figures and politicians. When leaders, elected to serve the public, denigrate their opponents with disgusting and deceitful accusations to gain political advantage, they fail themselves and the nation. When the media abandons their responsibility to objectively report facts and choose to be cheerleaders for one political party, they fail their oaths as journalists and their obligation to hold the powerful accountable.

Democrat policies support the mutilation of children, vilifies people based upon skin color, purposefully open our borders to register illegals to vote as homeless, tacitly support antisemitism, vigorously defend the murder of unborn children, advocate for males to share public facilities with women, illegally launder money through “smurfing” prior donors to democrats, and, via executive action, force the military and every company doing business with the government to incorporate DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) in their hiring practices, lifting up candidates by race and gender rather than ability to perform the job. If these policies are not inherently evil, nothing is. Yet, mainstream media is in lockstep with the democrat party, foisting this new “reality” on those vulnerable to this insanity. The father of lies is very happy these days.

Christians are called to resist evil and to strive to do good in this world. We are also called in the Great Commission, to make Disciples of all the world. Our God wants all His children to come to Him. The Good Shepherd does not want to lose even one of His sheep. How then do we endeavor to plant the seeds of faith in those who, overcome by Satan’s lies, believe that they are enemies of God and reject the gift of grace? God has made everyone in His image for a specific purpose. No matter how you look, what skills and talents, or lack thereof that you possess are all gifts from God to fulfill His purpose. No matter how confused, angry, or lost, each human being is made to love God and each other. We need to reach out in love to our “enemies” and find a way to open the door and not build a wall as we are wont to do.

Christians are extremely good at pointing fingers at those who are “sinners,” focusing on that speck in their eye as we ignore the plank in ours. While it is difficult to open dialogue with those we vehemently disagree, we are called to love our neighbor as ourselves to open the door for the Holy Spirit to work in them so that they can become our brothers and sisters in Christ. It is all too easy to harbor ill will and ignore our responsibility to “preach the word.” Resisting evil does not mean that we condemn our neighbors. Evil abounds in this world that is the realm of the evil one. Every one of us fall prey to the lies of Satan. There is only one who was without sin and while we are called to be more like Christ, we cannot replace Him and save the lost ourselves. We are the farmers who scatter the seeds of faith, and it is the power of the Holy Spirit that can indwell and convince. Not all seeds will germinate, but we are called to continue to reach out and be the hands and feet of Christ, building His kingdom on earth in preparation for our eventual home with Him.

Identifying the evil that we are called to resist is only the first step in our discipleship. Confronting those unduly influenced by the evil one and his minions is the next step in our servitude of Christ. We must look past the evil in the person, recognize that person is a child of God, even though they may not realize it, and instruct, gently correct, so that they can be saved from the evil that has overwhelmed them. If we can even approach one iota of the love our Father has for us in our interactions, just maybe they can open their hearts, if ever so slightly, to fellowship with the Risen Savior.

The Father of Lies

 

  Persuading the masses that good is evil and evil is good.

The difference between reality and fantasy has been skewed.  The left has accelerated the devolution of society, championing the murder of the unborn, recklessly flooding the nation with illegal aliens, encouraging the mutilation of children, promoting racial bias, and endorsing hatred towards those that do not support their unhinged lunacy.  It is becoming progressively difficult to determine what is “normal” and navigating these new things leads one to carefully parse any speech, lest one becomes labeled as phobic and subject to cancel culture. Satan is most certainly winning the battle for the soul of America.

The ever-leaning leftward democrat party hyperventilates that Trump is a threat to democracy, but democrats are destroying this nation that relies upon the rule of law by weaponizing government using censorship and lawfare. The ripple effect of DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) instituted via President Biden’s executive order, has had an adverse effect on society. This insidious order, that sounds so appealing, is nothing of the sort. Just as the evil one uses appealing language to tempt humankind to accept what is sinful as good, this order perverts language to fool the masses and assuage the purveyors of evil in our nation. No longer are the best and brightest promoted, promotions are now based on skin color, sexual orientation, and gender. This will end the meritocracy that has served this nation well and lead to the under-qualified ascending to vital positions.

ESG (environment, social, and governance) is another program designed to bring us closer to socialism. By requiring businesses to adhere to the standards of ESG, profitability suffers and, as with DEI, forces companies doing business with the government or any business connected in any way with the government, to base production methods, hiring, firing, HR and purchasing based upon environmental sustainability, race, and gender identity. This will effectively destroy those companies that cannot remain profitable while following these insane policies. These deceptive policies, that sound so reasonable, are meant to integrate government control into all aspects of life in this nation. In fact, the government is incrementally eroding the rights of the citizens to pursue life, liberty, and happiness. Satan must be so proud of his democrat party underlings that are accomplishing his purposes.

For far too long, mainstream America has sat back and acquiesced to the wokeness infiltrating society, satisfied with being ever tolerant, accepting, and welcoming to this pestilence. When schools began using remote learning during the COVID scare, parents saw first-hand that their children were being indoctrinated by teachers that were antithetical to the morals and values the parents held. The unrest we have witnessed on college campuses is a direct result of the kindergarten to university indoctrination with leftist ideology. The trust we have afforded our educators has been misplaced. Distracted by the busyness of daily life or shirking parental responsibility to be involved in our children’s education, we have given Marxist educators license to mold our children into their image. Finally, there is pushback.

In the Old Testament book of Deuteronomy a charge to parents is given, “These words I am commanding you today are to be upon your hearts.  And you shall teach them diligently to your children and speak of them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as reminders on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorposts of your houses and on your gates.” The Holy Spirit inspired author of these verses highlights just how important a parent’s role is instilling faith, morals, and values in their children. As lives become more complex, the parental role has been ceded to our educational system. When that system has been perverted, we fail in our responsibility to properly raise our children.

When children are indoctrinated away from the tenets of faith, when values and morals contrary to parental desires are instilled, the evil one wins. Traditional mores have been written on our hearts by our Lord and Creator. The abandonment of our Judeo-Christian value system is a recipe to our own destruction. Leftists want nothing less than to destroy this nation and the democrats are firmly in bed with them. Leftists want to sow the seeds of discontent and move us away from our God. Leftists pursue the goals of the evil one, dividing us by race, creed, and gender. If we fail to wake up and understand what the democrat party is attempting to achieve, we will have no one to blame but ourselves. The party that propped up a cognitively impaired Joe Biden, for democrats and the deep state to control, is evidence enough of their disdain for we the people. Democrats must be swept out of office, up and down the ballot. The leadership of the democrat party are willing tools of the evil one. Keep them in power and we will get what we deserve.

All the World’s a Stage

 

All the world’s a stage and we are merely players in it. Sounds like a perfectly worldly assessment of our roles here on earth, but is it actually accurate? The cast of characters in our play is led by the author of our story, God Himself. The hero is played by none other than Jesus Christ, the true and only Son of the Father. The villain, portrayed by the fallen angel Satan, who prods and cajoles God’s children into engaging in all manner of sinful activity. The objects of the hero’s affection are played by God’s created and beloved human beings. Plot – God’s overwhelming love for His children causes Him to send His only Son to suffer and die as a sin offering in their place to defeat death so that all of God’s children have the opportunity to be with Him throughout eternity.

Act I – Creation of all that is, starring the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

God creates the heavens and the earth and it was good. God was lonely, so he created someone to have fellowship with, a human being. God created His children with free will and in His great love for us, gave us dominion over everything on and over the earth and it was very good.

Act II – The fall of man, starring Adam, Eve and all of mankind throughout the ages.

Adam and Eve are tempted and fall for the lies of Satan. As punishment, they are evicted from the Garden of Eden. This begins a series of unfortunate events. Free will is a blessing, but humans all too frequently make into a curse. It causes man to engage in all manner of depravity. God is not pleased. God saves the righteous man Noah and his family, but brings a flood to drown out all of the evil in the world. Noah’s descendants repopulate the earth, but evil returns with a flourish. Righteous people are few and far between and prophets, inspired by God try over and over again to bring the others back to God. Some prophets are killed and some are banished. Over and over God gives His children the chance to return to Him, but Satan has much influence over society. Generations come and generations go with God’s children failing to live up to God’s standards. God invokes the final solution.  

Act III - The Lamb of God suffers, dies and rises to deliver us all from the death and punishment that we justly deserve.

Rather than relegate this rebellious generation to oblivion, God has mercy on His children. There is no way that anyone can live without sin and no way to earn salvation. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. That Word is the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who has been with God and the Holy Spirit from the beginning. Just like the calvary charging over the hill in the nick of time, God provided the final solution. Because God loved His children so much, He sent His one and only Son to stand in for all of us sinners. Rather than banish us from His presence, God did what only a perfectly loving Father could do. Jesus Christ, true human and true God, would take our place and endure a horrific death that truly was meant for each one of us. As the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one, all that Jesus endured was also experienced by the Father. Perfect love, perfect forgiveness. Then, with the entire past, present and future sin of the world on Jesus’ shoulders, the Father abandoned Him, severing Their everlasting connection, leaving Jesus to die utterly alone. But that was not the conclusion of the story. Jesus rose, defeated death, and opened the door to our salvation!

Act IV – Final Act - Judgement Day.

Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead. The Evil One will be banished to the pit of fire. A new heaven and a new earth will replace our broken world. Death will be no more. All of God’s children have the opportunity to accept that Jesus died for them and is the true Son of the living God. That is all that is asked of God’s children as a precursor to life eternal in paradise. Everyone has the opportunity to accept and believe until the final trumpet is sounded. But why wait until the last minute? Nothing else is required. Accept and believe in the one who took your place on the cross. Turn your life over to Jesus. It’s actually very simple. Jesus stands ready at your door. You only need to open it and invite Him in.

Pray this simple prayer, “Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, that you died on the cross to rescue me from sin and death and to restore me to the Father. I choose now to turn from my sins, my self-centeredness, and every part of my life that does not please you. I choose you. I give myself to you. I receive your forgiveness and ask you to take your rightful place in my life as my Savior and Lord. Come reign in my heart, fill me with your love and your life, and help me to become a person who is truly loving—a person like you. Restore me, Jesus. Live in me. Love through me. Thank you, God. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”

The Devil's Advocate

In the 1997 movie, Devil’s Advocate, Al Pacino skillfully plays the role of Attorney John Milton, the human form that Satan has taken. Near the climax of the movie, Satan was attempting to convince his son, attorney Kevin Lomax, played by Keanu Reeves, to join forces with him. Pacino was describing how he, Satan, was going to take over the world and win the battle against God through the law profession. Reeves asks him, “Why lawyers? Why the law?” Pacino answers, “Because, the law my boy, puts us into everything. It's the ultimate backstage pass. It's the new priesthood, baby. Did you know there are more students in law school ...than lawyers walking the Earth? We're coming out...guns blazing! The two of you...all of us, acquittal after acquittal after acquittal...until the stench of it reaches so high and far into Heaven...it chokes the whole f----g lot of them!” The ELCA, in an effort to maintain their grip on the things of this world, while disregarding God’s law, have decided that man’s law can be used to their advantage. Following in the footsteps of their ecclesiastic bothers in the Episcopal Church, where church property belongs to the greater church organization, they have decided to attempt to seize the assets of churches that choose to leave. Those congregations attempting to break fellowship are taken to court in an effort to wrest whatever assets this greedy organization can take. After all it takes a lot of money to run their bloated bureaucracy. Abandoning their responsibility to preach the Gospel to the world and bring the lost to Christ is also apparently quite expensive.

Some of the churches affected by this new approach are Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, WI, where Bishop Duane Peterson, is leading 70 congregants that support the ELCA, into court in an effort to seize the congregation’s ample assets. Initially, Peterson offered support to the "Synodically Authorized Worshiping Community" by starting a mission church, sharing facilities with First Lutheran, another ELCA church in Eau Claire, agreeing to find an alternate worship site by February 1st 2011. When the pastor of First Lutheran held fast to the deadline, he was removed by the synod, throwing another congregation into turmoil. Peterson then decided to facilitate, what became known as Amazing Grace Lutheran, into bringing legal action against Grace Lutheran. While Peterson fights Grace Lutheran from breaking fellowship with the ELCA, he himself is embroiled in a divorce action with his wife. Even though ELCA church policy advises clergy involved in divorce proceedings to refrain from active ministry, this does not deter this champion of the ELCA from his attempt to cause strife, division and suffering for this congregation that voted unanimously (322-0) to break fellowship with the ELCA.

Redeemer Lutheran in East Falls, Philadelphia, PA was sued by the Southeastern Pennsylvanian Synod of the ELCA in an attempt to take control of congregation’s assets and property. In 2007, Synod Council assessed the fragile status of Redeemer, including its diminished attendance records, income and expense figures, and approved a resolution authorizing Bishop Burkat to take Redeemer under "involuntary synodical administration" in accordance with Section 13.24 of the Synod Constitution, in effect, ordering the church council to turn over the keys, checkbook and vacate the property. The ELCA ultimately locked out the Redeemer congregation and there are still counter suits by the Redeemer congregation to regain their church property, valued at over $1.5 million. I’m certain that the property value had little to do with the ELCA effort to seize that church and its assets.

Life Lutheran Church in Richmond, CA, an ELCA congregation, one of only two congregations serving Chinese-Americans in the area, were given a building that was closed by the ELCA and formerly served by the current pastor of Ebenezer Lutheran Church, also known as “Her Church”. After beginning the process of breaking fellowship with the ELCA, Life Lutheran was taken to court by the ELCA in an effort to reclaim the property and evict them from the building. Life Lutheran left the ELCA in 2011 and joined LCMC. Life Lutheran continues to worship at their church, but legal proceedings are still in process.

So, perhaps the stench of these legal actions, initiated by the so very tolerant, loving and welcoming organization commonly referred to as the ELCA, is reaching the realm of Heaven. This just may be the new priesthood for this family of believers that cling to an organization while relegating our Lord to what they consider His rightful place, just below the enlightened leaders of this misguided organization. Reject the apostasy preached by the leaders of what was once one of God’s churches. Hold fast to the truth so that you can recognize Satan at work in this world. Pray unceasingly for God’s children to be rescued from the pit that has become the ELCA. 1 Peter 2:7-10, “Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, “The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone,” and, “A stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

Useful Idiot

Useful idiot is a derogatory adage, describing a person either too naïve or ignorant to understand that their advocacy of malevolent organizations only allows those organizations to conduct their business with impunity. Confused and misguided, the “occupy” movement is used by the labor unions and left wing radicals to conduct their bidding, disrupting the very business activity they need to support them. Gay rights advocates lobby to legitimize behavior that is contrary to God’s will, rather than loving their neighbor enough to lead them back to the Lord. Prior to the fall of the Soviet Union, soviet sympathizers used their influence to promote socialism and in several instances, used their positions to steal sensitive information and forward it to soviet agents. What they did not know, however, was that although the Soviets used the information, they actually reviled the sympathizers as traitors. Neville Chamberlain, the prime minister of England, used the policy of appeasement in an attempt to placate Hitler and Nazi Germany, only showing a weakness that gave Hitler the confidence to mount a sustained military campaign, almost bombing England out of existence. Those trapped in poverty by social programs that provide nothing more than a meager existence, continue to vote for those that would keep them trapped in a life of poverty. So, the list goes on and on with these supposedly well intentioned individuals and groups foolishly working toward goals that actually happen to be destructive to themselves and society.

Bishop Mark Hanson uses his office to appease the LGBTQ community by affirming their sinful behavior. Hanson proclaims that the authors of Scripture would not have an understanding of homosexuality as do the enlightened leaders of the ELCA, and as such, we need to reevaluate what Scripture says about sexuality. Mark 10:6-9, Jesus said, “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female. 7 ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, 8 and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one. 9 Therefore, what God has joined together, let man not separate.” So, that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ taught that marriage is between one man and one woman is overruled by the 2009 ELCA churchwide assembly. Those gullible human beings, using their imperfect love, overturn our God’s command. Bishop Hanson, whose duty is to safeguard sound doctrine, chooses to abdicate his responsibility to uphold God’s will and allows the inmates to run the asylum. Now, what God considers sin is no longer sinful in the official policies of the ELCA and homosexual relations are even acceptable for clergy as long as they engage in a “loving monogamous relationship” because God’s children are apparently wiser than their Father in heaven.

Hanson uses his office to denounce God’s chosen people, Israel, while offering support for Palestine and their terrorist leaders, Hamas. “Peace” activists attempt to violate a legal blockade of Palestine by Israel, attack Israeli forces attempting to board their vessel and Hanson delivers a scathing rebuke of Israel when, in fact, the Israeli forces acted with incredible restraint. Hanson advocates that ELCA members and Americans as a whole, support an embargo on all goods made in Israel. Hamas showers Israel with rockets, targeting civilians, causing casualties and fatalities, yet Hanson stands mute to those atrocities. Romans 9:4, “They are the people of Israel, chosen to be God’s adopted children. God revealed his glory to them. He made covenants with them and gave them his law. He gave them the privilege of worshiping him and receiving his wonderful promises.” Yet, Hanson persists in his affirmation of Palestine, while condemning Israel at every opportunity.

Hanson welcomes diversity within the ELCA. While we should welcome a diversity of people in our church, we should hold fast to the truths of Christianity, not welcome a diversity of beliefs. Universal salvation, the gospels of affirmation and radical inclusiveness, questioning the Virgin Birth and Jesus’ resurrection are just some of the “new things” that Hanson proclaims that God is now telling us. Throughout Scripture, we are warned to “not change a single word of Scripture”. Jesus said in Luke 16:17, “It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law.” Who is Hanson obeying when he, as the presiding bishop of the ELCA, decides to rewrite Scripture to placate those that want their worldly desires affirmed by the church? As Satan works on our worldly desires to lead us to sin against our Lord, Hanson decides that these “new things” are from God, but those true to the word realize that this is exactly what the evil one wants us to believe. Those being used by Satan to do his bidding have found a place in leadership positions at our Lord’s church. Just as the Politiboro used unwitting idealists to betray their country, he has found willing servants in God’s own church. After all, how better could Satan infiltrate God’s church, but to use words that sound so appealing, so welcoming, so tolerant and so diverse to those intending to use their imperfect love to create a new religion, based upon what they want to believe, rather than what our Lord has taught.

Knowledge is the way to understand when the evil one is attempting to use you. Dwell in His word and put on the full armor of the Lord. Jude 17, “But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” 19 These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. 20 But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. 21 Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.” Learn to recognize the useful idiots working in league with Satan that are proclaiming a gospel other than the one our Lord taught.
