The headlong rush of our youth and factions of the democrat party into the fatal embrace of radical progressive socialism, or what is more commonly known as communism, is absolutely jaw dropping. The democrat party and the legacy media’s pursuit of the normalization of an ideology that is steeped with utter failure wherever it has been instituted is beyond reason. Democrats have made a deal with the devil, and it is going to cost them elections, and harm the nation as this movement picks up steam. Now that unabashedly communists are winning democrat primaries because incumbent democrats are not “woke” (crazy) enough.

The ultra-woke WNBA has their useful idiot players and coaches advocating for the inclusion of “trans” women in their basketball league after player Sophie Cunningham stated that women should play against women. Two former NBA players, who are now “self-identifying” as women, have declared themselves eligible for the WNBA draft. Check and mate! They will be damned if they do and damned if they don’t allow them to compete. This is also known as the law of unintended consequences. When those who are woefully uninformed decide to pontificate on issues that they lack the ability to understand, their words can have dire consequences. The WNBA will now be forced to acknowledge gender identity is not a social construct, or two former NBA stars will dominate the women’s game. Must see TV for me!

Francesca Hong, a self-avowed communista, is currently the front runner in the Wisconsin democrat Governor’s primary. She has declared that she hates Thanksgiving, wants to defund the police, abolish ICE, and accepts the platform of the Democratic Socialists of America, verbatim. When news media confronted her to explain her statements, she did what most democrats do, she lied and said her opinions had since “evolved.” This is exactly the type of candidate that defines the “big tent” democrat party that supports what 80% of the population opposes. Democrat Senator John Fetterman, the same person who suffered a debilitating stroke that left him barely able to communicate, has disavowed the radical leftist lean of his party. He has apparently fully recovered and gained a modicum of common sense that continues to elude the rest of his party.

If people are paying attention, democrats will pay a high price for ignoring the will of the electorate. Their insistence in promoting policies that a large majority of Americans oppose, should cost them numerous Congressional seats. In business, the customer is always right, particularly if your business depends upon return customers. Not so with politics. Politicians will push the envelope as far as necessary to ensure their re-election. The only reason that democrats have ventured into the uncharted territory of “democratic socialism” is that they think they can get away with it. Democrats view the electorate as uneducated masses that can be easily manipulated. They use words like affordability, equity, and fairness when their actions speak a very different language. Even though democrat policies fail to meet their promises, some still take them at their word. And that is exactly why this existential threat to our nation has emerged and is thriving.

The democrat party’s foray into “democratic socialism” is just another lie perpetrated by a party that has lost its way. “Never let a crisis go to waste.” “The ends justify the means.” “The rich need to pay their fair share.” “The world will end in 12 years if climate change is not addressed.” “No kings!” The democrat party has foisted lie upon lie to a gullible electorate. It is truly amazing, with all the information available at our fingertips, that so many have been fooled for so long. The left has been very effective in their propaganda wing, championed by the legacy media, academia, and public instruction. The indoctrination of our youth and the leftist talking heads have created a generation of low-information automatons that are trained to do the bidding of those who would destroy this nation.

Far too many have sat on the sidelines and bemoaned the state of our union. The threat to our constitutional republic is a clear and present danger. If the Democratic Socialist of America succeed in commandeering the democrat party, they will be coming for America. It is not too late to stop them. It is not too late to elect representatives that share traditional values. It is not to late to get off the couch and make your voice heard. Use to power of your vote to make a definitive statement and reject the policies of hate, divisiveness, and envy.

These Days

 

God put us here for a purpose.

“Maybe we were made for these days.” These lyrics from a Jeremy Camp song fall short of God’s expectations for His people. Equipped with the time and talents provided to us, God did indeed put each of us in this time and in this place for His purpose. We were created to pursue justice. We were created to spread the Gospel to all the ends of the earth. We were made to take a stand against evil. We were made to worship and glorify our God by spreading the love of Jesus to all our neighbors. Yes, we were wonderfully made, specifically created for times such as these.

Evil thrives and violence spreads throughout our nation and the world. The current strategy employed that ignores the growing threat only encourages further escalation of that evil. Just as children who do not face consequences for their actions become spoiled and disobedient, today’s left pushes the boundaries of lawlessness as far as the consequences, or lack thereof, will allow. The left’s embrace of evil is metastasizing as if it were a cancer spreading throughout the human body.

Leftist ideology is attacking the most vulnerable as our children are indoctrinated with deviant sexuality. It is attacking the very fabric of this nation as the left calls for insurrection and disregard of the rule of law. It has infiltrated our churches, replacing the worship of our God with the worship of tolerance, diversity, and the things of this world. Our institutions have been polluted with antisemitism, the embrace of socialism, and hatred of opinions deemed inappropriate to their chosen wokeism tenets. There is a real danger that our nation, the last bastion of true freedom in the world, will be lost forever.

There is a great evil overtaking our nation and world. Evil thrives in an environment that allows it to grow. The silence of good people is deafening. We can no longer simply remain silent and “let someone else” confront this evil. If unchecked the left will destroy everything that is good and true. If unchecked the left will lead this nation down a path to destruction. The democrat party has not only embraced leftist ideology, but they have also doubled down on all things woke. Democrats must be voted out of office until they become an impotent minority. We must retake our schools to eliminate the indoctrination of our children. If we fail to hold the left accountable, we will have no one to blame but ourselves.

The easy way to combat this rampant evil would be to respond in kind, but we cannot repay evil with evil. Hatred only begets more hatred that is certain to entangle us within the influence of the evil one. The easy path can often be the most dangerous path. We can only mend fences and open minds through and with the love of Christ. Christ died for our sins while we were still sinners and enemies of God, including those unduly influenced by the evil one today.

We are long past due to stand strong in our faith. We were made to be God’s hands and feet on this earth. We are called to plant the seeds of faith so that the Holy Spirit can nurture and grow those seeds within those we meet and receive. Sharing the love of Christ is our greatest calling and the best way to show God our gratitude for our undeserved grace. To share the joy of salvation with the lost is our sacred duty as Jesus called for us to make disciples of all the world in the Great Commission. We need to keep singing and sharing until all have heard!

The first step in reconciliation is forgiveness. Without forgiveness, doors will remain shut and walls cannot be overcome. Without forgiveness there is no avenue to engage in constructive dialogue. Without forgiveness both sides remain at odds. Once anger, bitterness, and resentment are eliminated on one side of the equation, one can truly love one’s enemy. There is but one bond that unites all humanity and His name is Jesus Christ.

Democrat leaders embolden lawlessness.

What we experience today often mirrors a world that has been imagined in works of fiction. Authors invent circumstances that would appear to be far from reality, but in today’s upside-down world fiction replaces reality as the left embraces the absurd. Democrats focus much of their energy emulating dogma taken from a number of well-known novels that envision dystopian societies.

George Orwell’s novel 1984 portends of a totalitarian society ruled by Big Brother that seeks to control all aspects of the people’s lives. “Who controls the past controls the future.” “Ignorance is strength.” Fact becomes fiction as the unhinged left works feverishly to destroy democracy, replace it with socialism, and with that, create a dystopian society where the Constitution is torn up and freedoms curtailed. Leftists are more than content to rule over the ashes.

In George Orwell’s Animal Farm, some of the animals were deemed, “more equal” than others. “If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” DEI, ESG, and other “woke” ideology seeks to elevate individuals solely based upon the color of one’s skin, not the content of one’s character or merit. So much for working towards a color-blind society.

In Ray Bradbury’s novel Fahrenheit 451, books were banned and if any were discovered, firemen were tasked to burn them. “A book is a loaded gun in the house next door…Who knows who might be the target of the well-read man?” During Joe Biden’s administration, his Department of Justice colluded with social media companies to control their chosen narrative and censor speech in which they disagreed. Dissenters were cancelled and shadow banned, including the nation’s longest operating newspaper, the New York Post.

Sean Connery’s role as James Bond 007 came with the caveat, “license to kill.” Democrats unhinged, capricious, and incessant ranting against our President and Republicans have incited weak-minded individuals to commit numerous acts of violence. In some cases, democrats have attempted to justify that violence. Well, Senator Schumer, you certainly have unleashed a whirlwind of mayhem and lawlessness.

An encounter with a transvestite is the subject of the 1970 Kinks song, Lola, “Boys will be girls and girls will be boys, it’s a mixed up muddled up shook up world.” Today the democrat party, leftist ideologues, and useful idiot liberals promote transgender medical intervention for children too young to understand the concept of gender and sexuality. In a society that prohibits minors from obtaining a tattoo, requires attaining the age of 21 in order to legally drink alcoholic beverages, and demands parental approval for school field trip attendance, attempting to encourage gender dysphoria in children certainly fits the bill as a mixed up, muddled, and shook-up world!

Mainstream or moderate democrats have become a scarce commodity as leftist ideology has been mainstreamed into the ethos of this misguided political party. Democrats take the low road as their rhetoric devolves from constructive dialogue into name calling and foul language. Democrats utter lack of respect for any opinions that differ from their chosen narrative cause them to revile and reject those in which they disagree. There is no compromise. There is no common ground. Democrats decide to die on the hill advocating for ideology that only a tiny minority truly support. Evil has come out into the light and the democrats are exposed for what they really are.

All bets are off while absurdity reigns. Hate your neighbors if they are conservative. Unfriend anyone who had the audacity to vote for Trump. Shun your family at Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners if they are conservative. Justify violence in the name of saving democracy from the false narrative of an “existential” threat. Fight Trump and Republicans by all means necessary, even if it is at a great cost to this nation.

Democrats have been overwhelmed by the mass hysteria that is Trump Derangement Syndrome. Many others are also inflicted with this disease, as they blindly follow in lockstep with the narrative parroted by a left leaning media. “Whoever is filled with hate disguises it with his speech, but inside he holds on to deceit. When he talks charmingly, do not trust him because of the seven disgusting things in his heart. His hatred is deceitfully hidden, but his wickedness will be revealed to the community.” Proverbs 26:24-26. Adam Schiff, Leticia James, Nancy Pelosi, and of all those that use their political office to enrich themselves, democrats dominate the list. Democrats’ wickedness and deceit is being revealed daily. This verse seems to fit today’s democrat party to a tee.

“Regarding the transgression of the wicked man: There is no fear of God before his eyes. For his eyes are too full of conceit to detect or hate his own sin. The words of his mouth are wicked and deceitful; he has ceased to be wise and well-doing. Even on his bed he plots wickedness; he sets himself on a path that is not good; he fails to reject evil.” Psalm 36:1-4

The evil that has overwhelmed the democrat party must be rejected. If democrats refuse to moderate and return to some semblance of normalcy, they must be soundly rejected at the ballot box.

As the democrat party fades into irrelevancy, they have launched a strategy to use outright lies to undermine the Trump administration. There is no nuance to their actions since they have nothing valid to offer this nation, other than bitter hatred of Trump. The democrat party was rejected in the 2024 election, yet they continue to embrace insane leftist ideology. Democrats have lost their way. They stubbornly cling to all things woke, even though this often places them at odds with 70-80% of the population. Not only is the democrat party failing to adjust their strategy to align with common sense societal values, they refuse to acknowledge the error of their ways.

Democrats on transgenderism – They remain steadfast in their belief that little Johnny can become little Janet and that if the child chooses to alter their gender, parents need not be consulted. It is ideology over reality. They approve of chosen gender pronouns, gender reassignment surgeries, and life altering puberty blocking drugs for minors. Anyone else that is gender confused can obtain medical treatments at government expense, including those imprisoned. Male inmates can elect to be housed with females if they claim that they are women. There are no unforeseen consequences to those actions that could occur?

Democrats on LGTBQI+ - Woke school boards allow pornographic homosexual novels to be placed in elementary school libraries. The very same books, when read aloud by parents at a school board meeting are shut down due to their graphic nature. Pride flags flown proudly at democrat state capitols take the place of state and POW flags. Pride parades that are no more than an excuse for homosexual exhibitionism are celebrated. Pride month? Where do their priorities lie?

Democrats on fraud, waste, and bloated bureaucracy – It would seem that making government more efficient and accountable would be an issue that transcends politics, but democrats are fighting DOGE tooth and nail. They are beholden to the public sector unions that funnel $Millions to the DNC. Unfortunately, some elected officials may find themselves in hot water once Elon and his compatriots follow the money trail from these bloated agencies. Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are facing insolvency in the next decade. If we cannot trim down the federal budget, those entitlements could be severely reduced. Interest payments on the national debt is approaching $1Trillon annually. Democrats continue to accuse Trump of trying to gut those programs, when their obstructionism will adversely affect the solvency of those programs.

Democrats on “saving our democracy” – over 100 lawsuits have been filed to obstruct legitimate executive actions by cherry picking radical leftist judges, most that have no jurisdiction on the matter, then have the audacity to issue orders to the President. Imagine that, a US District Court Judge issuing rulings that restrict the executive branch from carrying out Constitutionally protected duties and executive orders. Next federal laws, upheld as constitutional will be struck down by any radical leftist judge and the democrats will approve.

Democrats as the “loyal opposition” party – Resist, obstruct, derail, lie, and whatever else is necessary to destroy not only the Trump administration, but the majority of this nation that elected him. Not only has their rhetoric influenced radicals within the US, it has emboldened other nations to act brazenly against the US. Our nation’s world standing has suffered as democrats continually rebuke every White House statement or action.

Democrats on tariffs – Other nations have accumulated massive trade surpluses with the US due to their imposing tariffs on US goods. Canada has amassed over $60 Billion, Mexico over $150 Billion annually. Democrats lambast President Trump’s reciprocal tariffs as “inflationary” when the reciprocity will simply level the playing field and likely lower other countries tariffs on the US. Democrats are wrong again and their resistance will ultimately harm the US consumer.

The list could go on, but democrats have made the choice to be on the wrong side of history, yet they resist changing direction. Unless they return to a semblance of normalcy and begin to prioritize serving the people again, rather than being the obstructionists that they now are, they will fade into oblivion. And it will be well deserved.

The constant drumbeat by the left villainizing their political opponents has indelibly sowed the seeds of division in this nation. Legacy media, Hollywood elitists, the democrat party leaders, and much of social media have fomented a growing hatred amongst the populace so pervasive that it is out of control. Neighbor pitted against neighbor, citizen against citizen, and families torn asunder by insipid political ideology. What have we become? Reject your families if they support President Trump? Calling anyone opposed to their radical ideology Hitler! Screaming that this is the end of democracy and there will be no more elections. Unhinged hyperbole by leftists losing their minds while they exaggerate baseless claims repeatedly, loses any manner of credibility.

The petulant display by elected democrat representatives during the President’s speech at the joint session of Congress was despicable. Democrats refusing to acknowledge a 13-year-old cancer survivor? Democrats applauding continuing the senseless bloodshed between Ukraine and Russia? Who is it that really is a threat to democracy? Evil is flourishing in this world and the democrat party is embracing it.

Darkness is having a field day as leftists celebrate the murder of children waiting to be born and then have the audacity to call it women’s reproductive health care. Drug cartels turn to the lucrative business of human trafficking, taking advantage of a border deliberately left open by democrat party leftists that has allowed fentanyl, misery, and death to spread. Democrats are the party of woke policies that promote child sexual mutilation, sexual predation by “transgender” men, and value race, sexual orientation, and political ideology over merit and skill. Democrats are the advocates of government propaganda and censorship by sponsoring bills to effectively eliminate free speech in which they disagree. Democrats denigrate school choice, but boost teachers’ unions, thereby reducing learning opportunities for the underprivileged they “promised” to protect. Democrats target Christian educators with lawfare, forcing Christian universities and schools to expend resources defending their 1^st Amendment right to freedom of worship in court. Christianity is firmly in the crosshairs of these misguided leftists.

It may seem as if evil has been winning most of the battles, but people are slowly waking from their slumber. Evil has emerged from the darkness and the light has shown upon it so that all can recognize it.  There is a reason that democrats and their radical policies were soundly rejected at the ballot box. God’s law is indelibly written upon our hearts. The difference between right and wrong, evil and good are apparent. More young people are indeed rejecting radical ideology, returning to their roots, and embracing God. Even though it is not readily apparent, a revival is sweeping across our nation, and our youth are leading the charge. This nation, created through and with a covenant with God, is slowly recognizing the evil that has been embraced by the left and perpetrated on the masses. The pendulum is swinging back to foundational Christian principles as intended by God and adopted for this nation by our forefathers. The United States is a majority Christian nation, and it is past time for Christians to reawaken and restore that which God intended.

Suffer the Children

 

Protecting the innocent.

Societal norms demand that we protect the innocent. Those who cannot defend themselves need our protection. That is why a parent will defend their children with their lives. Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.” Mark 10:14-16. Children are our most important resource. Without children, humanity ends. Why is that the left conspires to eradicate the most vulnerable among us? Why is the wanton murder of children waiting to be born, or what is otherwise known as abortion, so important to them? Why are they embracing a death cult?

Abortion has nothing to do with women’s reproductive health care. In 1973, Roe v. Wade determined that abortion was legal. Since then, over 50 million children waiting to be born have been brutally murdered. Abortion is a brutal procedure that mirrors some of the torture techniques that were used in the Middle Ages. 50 million children murdered by abortion is greater than 14% of the current population of the United States. How many doctors, scientists, teachers, caregivers, plumbers, electricians, or other positive contributors to our society have had their lives snuffed out before they could even begin? Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness apparently is not equally applied when an unborn child is added to the equation. Selfishness triumphs with the “procedure” known as abortion. It truly is one of the most evil “elective medical procedures” that humanity has concocted.

Why does a women’s right to choose trump the inalienable human rights of the child within her womb? What have we become when there is not a second thought to that life? Less than 1% of abortions are performed due to pregnancies caused by incest, rape, or to save the life of the mother. Most of the pro-choice argument holds little to no water to bolster claims that abortion is necessary to protect women’s reproductive rights. It is simply an easy way to neglect responsibility for a lifestyle that is in direct conflict with God’s intent. Sexual relations have been reserved for one man and one woman within the confines of the sacrament of marriage. Both parties conceive and raise their children and are responsible to instill within them morals, values, and a love of God. It is obvious that there is a concerted effort to eliminate God and any values instilled by our Creator. The evil one is flourishing in this world.

Every single pro-choice advocate was once a child in her mother’s womb waiting for his/her birth. Each of them had a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Each of them could have had their lives ended if their mother did not want to be inconvenienced by the responsibilities of raising a child. Selfishness is our greatest sin and easiest to commit. In this society it is all about pleasing oneself first. “Look at me. I am wonderful. I can be anything I want to be.” In this wicked generation, God is but an afterthought. Sex is a game for anyone to play at any time. Hookups, Tinder, and the like are pre-emptively destroying future relationships. Satan must be so proud.

In its innate selfishness, “woke society” believes that biology can be overturned and gender reversed. “God must have made a mistake, and that mistake must be corrected to my satisfaction.” What is a woman? Apparently, whatever one wants it to be. Transgenderism is a mental disease. Less than a decade ago gender dysphoria was considered a psychiatric disorder. Now, children, often with encouragement of woke teachers, are allowed to decide if and when they are to undergo permanent life-altering treatments, such as puberty blockers and surgeries to “change” to their desired gender. Never mind that those altered will never be able to have normal sexual relations, give birth, or sire children. The world is on fire and society pours gasoline on it!

The world needs God. The world needs a Savior. The world needs to come back to Him if we intend to overcome evil. Without God, we fight alone. With Him, all things can be accomplished. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:10-12

And yet there are those who say that the Bible is irrelevant in these enlightened times.

Donald Trump was correct. The Biden regime was a set up from the start. From the campaign from his basement due to the COVID-19 “plandemic,” to the carefully scripted mainstream media supporting what is now painfully obvious, a dementia patient for President. The democrat party’s thinly veiled, yet highly successful efforts to manipulate an election, using lawsuits, leftist judges, democrat Secretaries of State, and democrat operatives in blue cities, worked to perfection. Now the proverbial cat is out of the bag and Dementia Joe is exposed for all the world to see. We have been duped and those responsible need to be held to account. The blame should not fall on his staff or family for hiding his condition. The blame lies with the democrat party that foisted this fraud upon us and their merry band of sycophants in the mainstream media.

Joe Biden is not only not competent enough to run for re-election, he is too incapacitated to remain as President. Having him continue as the leader of the free world is a true threat to democracy and the security of this nation. The democrats must pay for this sham. They knew all about Joe’s dementia before they nominated him for their ticket. Simply acknowledging Joe’s all too apparent failing mental abilities is not nearly enough penance for the democrat leadership. They must pay at the ballot box. This is a violation of the sacred trust we imbue to our elected representatives. For too long, democrats have served themselves and their party while neglecting their responsibility to our nation. It is time to vote those democrats out of office, once and for all.

Democrats will continue to bend, fold, and mutilate existing election law to their benefit. Even if the polling is accurate, democrats will always find enough ballots marked with “D” circles to overturn a close election. We must go out in force to overcome their cheating. It is incumbent upon us to inform our friends and neighbors. It is incumbent upon us to get those who typically do not exercise their right to vote to the polls or to early vote. It is incumbent upon us to make certain that the democrats face the consequences of their actions. Democrats should never be in power again unless they change course and properly represent their constituency. If they continue having the authority to keep our borders open, kill the unborn with impunity, and advocate for their insane woke agenda, they do not deserve to hold office. It is up to us. Recognizing evil and the destruction that it has wrought has never been more important than now in our deeply polarized society. Failure to understand that the goal of the left is to destabilize and fundamentally transform this nation will inevitably lead to its destruction. Yet, there are those who blindly follow the divisive ideology the left promotes. Young people, who have been indoctrinated in Marxism without any common sense at woke universities, parrot talking points without any intellectual curiosity, refuse any debate, and shout down those they deem antithetical to their beliefs. These and other useful idiots that support this evil are simply tools used by the left to achieve their goals. Like generals in war, they stand safely behind, watching their pawns do battle, while they reap the rewards of their underling’s work.

This has never been more apparent than the rise in antisemitism rhetoric by those supporting Palestinians and by proxy, the brutal atrocities perpetrated by Hamas. The absurd correlation between the civilian casualties suffered by Israel compared to the civilian casualties suffered by Palestinians in Gaza is inane. Hamas specifically targeted civilians. Israel is targeting Hamas and giving notice of the areas they intend to strike to minimize collateral damage and civilian casualties. Hamas has been blocking civilian escape routes to maximize civilian casualties and deaths to sway world opinion against Israel. That strategy has been largely effective as leftist groups have spurred on Palestinian sympathizers and antisemites that have coalesced to villainize Israel. The lack of knowledge by these “peace” protesters and the vitriol they spew is appalling. Jewish hatred is rearing its ugly head and it is neither Christians nor conservatives that are proclaiming these vile invectives in the public square.

89% of Palestinians support the terrorism that Hamas and other radical Islamic groups perpetrate against Israel, the United States, and the world. Palestinians overwhelmingly elected Hamas to lead their government. Palestinians will not accept peace with Israel, in fact, a majority rejects Israel’s right to exist and want to eradicate the Jewish people. These fools that “stand up for Palestine” and chant “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” would be persecuted and rejected for their core beliefs supporting LGTBQI+, transgenderism, abortion, and women’s rights in most of the Islamic world. Let these buffoons with their blue hair, tattoos, and piercings try to co-exist and embrace Islam, the religion of “peace.” Islam will not embrace you. You’ll be lucky if you don’t get thrown off some roof with your LGTBQI+ friends, and if you aren’t put to death, you’ll be required to wear a burka that covers your chosen identity. Perhaps, then they would understand that America is not that bad.

The father of lies is operating a well-oiled machine in his realm. The young and impressionable are being willingly and enthusiastically led right into his trap. Society’s upheaval is being fueled by liberty-hating global elites that know far better than us unwashed masses. Money talks, and those mega-wealthy elitists are financing wannabe leftists for their new world-order ambitions from their ivory towers. Unfortunately, there will be no place in the new world order hierarchy for those manipulated by this evil ideology.

We must not only resist this evil, we must confront it with the truth, the way, and the life. We cannot simply stand mute while so many are at risk of falling prey to the evil one and his schemes. We need to put on our spiritual armor and learn how to plant the seeds of faith in order to overcome this evil that is overwhelming our world. The father of lies will flee when confronted with the truth and it is up to us to proclaim the truth of Jesus Christ. It’s time to step out of our comfort zone and call out this evil for what it is. It's time to get involved with our local schools and protest against woke and racist ideology being taught to our children. It's time to make sure our elected officials uphold Christian values and morals, and pledge to serve their constituency, and not themselves. It’s time that we the majority get up and be heard over the squeaky wheels that promote the leftist, Marxist, socialist, and communist agenda.

In Plain Sight

 Woke policies DEI (Diversity, equity, and inclusion) and ESG (Environmental, social, and governance) are driving our society, economy, and nation over a cliff.

On June 21^st, 2021, President Biden signed an Executive order on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the federal workforce. The last sentence in the third paragraph states, “A growing body of evidence demonstrates that diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible workplaces yield higher-performing organizations.” There were no citations to any study that confirmed this claim, and for good reason. Current studies simply “suggest” that companies that implement DEI policies have increased productivity. Additionally, these “studies” originate from the usual liberal think tanks and woke universities. As with many of the talking points of the Democrat party, there is no real conclusive data to confirm their claims, only empty rhetoric. This divisive policy, not unlike Critical Race Theory, intends to segregate federal employees and candidates by race, gender, and sexual orientation. This executive orders’ intent is to reinstate affirmative action and discriminate against the scariest boogeyman of the left, the straight, white male, or what is commonly referred to as “white privilege.”

Section 2.a. states, “The term “underserved communities” refers to populations sharing a particular characteristic, as well as geographic communities, who have been systematically denied a full opportunity to participate in aspects of economic, social, and civic life.” If anyone in the United States, other than convicted criminals serving their sentences, have been denied a “full opportunity to participate in aspects of economic, social and civic life” please raise your hands. Here, in the land of opportunity, no one, yes no one is denied the opportunity to fully participate in society, should one have the drive and ambition to succeed. For the President of the United States to infer that certain “classes” of people cannot succeed, with the false presumption that their path is blocked by “systemic bias,” is disrespectful and disingenuous. Even Barack Obama stated that it did not matter where you began or what you look like, anyone can find success with hard work and determination. Unfortunately, President Biden and his cohorts in the Democrat party believe that “systematically disadvantaged persons,” or persons of color, are inherently inferior and require the government’s assistance just to survive. This executive order is a lie that panders a false narrative and as with most of the Democrat agenda, strives to achieve results that benefit the Democrat party and their benefactors, not the people they purport to represent.

ESG is another insidious attack on the fabric of Western society. These policies force companies to adhere to rules that place emphasis on making investments based upon a set of goals relating to climate, not strategically investing in profitable business, and meeting constantly changing social requirements in hiring and HR practices, which are all monitored and enforced by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. This makes it difficult, if not impossible to maintain their fiduciary responsibilities to their clients and shareholders. These actions, which detract from the success of the businesses, will lead to less effective and profitable investments, hiring and retaining inferior and potentially ineffective staff, based on a set of standards that reflect diversity, not merit, and hiring of additional staff to ensure that these standards are met as they will be audited regularly by the Federal government. Our economy is being forced to evolve into a government-regulated business model at the cost of a free market, profit-driven, successful model. If you think this sounds like socialism, you would be correct. Businesses that are deemed insufficient to these rules or fail to properly submit to the authorities, even if the "offense" is a statement deemed "inappropriate" by the SEC, may be fined. These fines can be levied in the $millions. Banks are held to the same standards, and non-compliant businesses will be denied loans. Try to run a business without a line of credit. Not going to happen. Our once thriving economy based upon a “meritocracy” is ceasing to exist.

This apparent underclass which is disproportionally affected by everything ranging from HIV to menthol cigarettes, is the perpetually cited victim of the Democrats in their class warfare strategy. When President Lyndon B. Johnson initiated the “war on poverty,” even he could not have foreseen the unintended consequences that have actually disproportionally affected the African-American community. Like the drug pusher giving free heroin to potential users, the welfare state induced generations to abandon the traditional nuclear family and depend upon government programs. Even President Franklin Roosevelt said that government assistance could become like a narcotic. Sixty years later FDR has been proven prophetic. Now Democrats promote the lunacy of driving the economy from the bottom up and the middle out. This is nothing but socialism in a poorly designed disguise. Initiating their insane monetary policies has led to government overreach and soaring inflation. Is that really a fair tradeoff for ending the mean tweets and “unpresidential” behavior? Who really is the threat to democracy?

The wokeness that is overtaking sanity in our nation is primarily driven by the Democrat party, a complicit media, and the leftists hungry to fundamentally transform this great nation. The headlong rush to affirm preferred pronouns and boys wanting to be girls is in direct correlation with the left’s desire to tear down civil society. Edicts arising from executive actions, bureaucratic regulations promulgated by entrenched bureaucrats, and governmental enforcement of “wokeness” are hindering our economy at home and damaging the US brand worldwide. We have met the enemy and it is us. China need not bury us economically or militarily. We are doing it to ourselves and far too few of us are lifting a finger to show disapproval. Russia will not need to launch a single missile to defeat us. Patience is the key as they laugh at the lunacy that is destroying the greatest country in the history of the world from within. And we are too “busy” with our own problems to confront this enemy within. Surely someone else will get involved and fight back. If we fail to confront this insanity, then it’s on us. How will you explain to future generations why we failed to defeat or even expose the evil, happening in plain sight, that ultimately destroyed this great experiment called America?

 

Rules of Engagement

Man on the street interviews highlight just how out of touch many in our nation have become. Questions that once were common knowledge are often fumbled by our next generation of leaders. But they can recite verbatim from social media influencer’s videos. Decisions driven by some “Tic Tok’ video publisher’s unhinged rantings without possessing the ability to properly filter out the noise, is a recipe for disaster. This is what you get when teaching life skills become secondary to preaching CRT and striving for equity of outcome. In just a few short years, woke education policies have created a generation that has no clue.

Political ideology drives individuals to vilify those in which they disagree. Far too many on all sides of the political spectrum fall prey to this insidious behavior, especially on social media. Civil dialogue has become a lost art. In a head long rush to embrace “wokeness,” society has elevated selfishness to the preeminent position in society. We are cautioned to live in this world without becoming overcome by it but the world is clearly winning. Compassion has been twisted into a means of assuaging those who willfully choose to reject common decency and morality.  Tolerance is manipulated to reject common sense and allow abhorrent behavior to be normalized. Acceptance has been corrupted to foster disregard of accepted societal norms. Equity of outcome replaces equality of opportunity and the whole of society suffers in this misguided attempt to elevate those perceived to be marginalized by society.

One should always question “new things” and transformational changes within society. Failure to do so will facilitate the default to our innate human selfishness. Awareness of our ill-advised proclivities will help to strive toward selflessness and service to our neighbors. In order to help make this world a better place, we often must deny our needs in order to serve others. This world was never intended to revolve around any single human being in order to fulfill their wants and desires. Affirmation of those trapped within their selfishness only rewards ill-advised conduct. There is a reason that laws and rules exist. Without them, humanity regresses into human animals, only concerned with their own needs and desires. When identity or ideology supersedes empathy and concern for fellow human beings, we become ego-driven, self-centered malevolent beings that are antithetical to the ideal human condition.

Those that believe that it is paramount to properly love their neighbor by affirming behavior that is contrary to science and accepted societal norms, harms not only society but harms the mental health and well-being of the subject of that misguided love. When principles of conduct become vague and undefined, such as acquiescing to the theory that whatever is your reality is truth, the more unorthodox the standard of conduct becomes. Our society is in a free fall away from reality. Leftists seek to destroy the fabric of this nation and remake it into a socialist, authoritarian state and many are fooled into supporting this disturbing conspiracy.

The fears of a nation were manipulated and used to control this nation as it faced the uncertainty of a novel coronavirus pandemic that was far less lethal than our government and public health officials asserted. Fear is used to stoke hatred and to destroy those who would challenge this dangerous “woke” ideology that has replaced common sense. Fear enables individuals to do whatever it takes to protect their position and power. But fear is a liar. Reason and truth must be restored to overcome fear, and that truth is that we are all brothers and sisters with God as our Father. Fear divides us against one another. The common enemy is clear for those who choose to see. Government has been weaponized against “we the people,” and too many cheer it on.

Biden promised a return to normalcy and to unite the nation. His rhetoric has further divided this nation. His policies are destroying our economy, ended our energy independence, acquiesced to Russia's aggression, relinquished our role in the world to China and is destroying the dollar as the primary currency of trade. It is time to deny ourselves and identities as Democrat or Republican. It is time that we elect those who choose to serve us, rather than rule us. It is time to roll back the insanity that has overcome our nation. We are one nation under God and its high time we act that way.

Back to the Future

 Once a violation of human rights, now the new normal.

On January 21, 2022 the World Health Organization published a report that indicated over 200 million young girls have undergone female genital mutilation (FGM) in 30 predominantly Muslim countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. FGM is a federal crime, 18 U.S. Code 116, and any participation in this act is considered a human rights violation, punishable by up to 5 years of imprisonment or deportation. This procedure is conducted on young girls, without consent and is medically unnecessary and dangerous. FGM is still prevalent in many majority Muslim-communities in the United States. As recently as 2020, many celebrities have denounced this as a crime against humanity, although US Representative Ilhan Omar, originally from Somalia where it is still widely practiced, has refused to do so.

Fast forward to today and an obsession with transgenderism has replaced sanity when dealing with the mental health issues of children and awkward teenagers. A boy that picks up a doll or is “in touch with his femininity” is encouraged to change his gender. A girl that has an interest in sports or seems masculine is encouraged to become a boy. In California, parents are not informed if their child decides to undergo puberty blocking, changing their gender identity or given name to correspond with their chosen gender. Any attempt to physically alter or allow a juvenile to change their pronoun or name without parental consent is child abuse. Far too many persons that undergo “gender modification end up regretting their choice, that is permanent, inalterable and has numerous health risks.

We are called to love our neighbors as ourselves. What we are not called to however, is to affirm each other within our sinful nature. Driven by the leftist media that affirms transgenderism, those that self-identify as transgender require all to validate their choice. Transgender supporters push an agenda that attempts to convince children to experiment with and normalize deviant sexual behavior. Why destroy children’s lives in order to feel better about themselves and their choices? Why steal our children’s innocence? As an adult, what you do is between you and God. Leave our children alone. Those that affirm and support this lunacy enable the insanity to spread throughout society.

Drag queen story hours are embraced by those that believe that they are being tolerant and acceptant of differing lifestyle choices. Christians and conservatives requesting equal time to communicate family values are accused of promoting hate speech and exclusion. Children are vulnerable to suggestion, especially from those they trust; teachers, clergy and as they grow older, their peers. Children do not possess the mental acuity necessary to process sexuality nor the emotional maturity to understand these concepts. All children go through phases that can call into question the customary gender roles that they exhibit. In almost all cases, children, if left to their own design, will return to gender roles that are appropriate to their biological sex.

Public education, on the other hand, has enabled numerous “woke” teachers to infiltrate the school system. These teachers have been indoctrinated with leftist ideology and are more than willing to usurp parental authority. Either by a deliberate lack of oversight or acquiescence by school administrators, these teachers encourage children to be whatever gender they choose, while deliberately hiding these life-altering decisions from their parents. Alternate lifestyles are promoted as normative and children are often persuaded to experiment with their sexuality by classroom education and assigned reading. Parents, not public education, are responsible for instilling values and morals in their children. Parents, who fund public education with their tax dollars, have the absolute right to know exactly what teaching methods, reading materials and curricula are used in the classroom. Parents have the right to address their grievances to local school boards without being declared domestic terrorists.

Transgender activists look to incite violence over their perceived lack of respect and misguided hatred of conservatives. A trans day of vengeance was planned for March 31^st and April 1^st in Washington DC. Monday, March 27th, a 28-year-old woman, transitioning to male, kills 6, including 3 children at Covenant Christian School in Nashville, Tennessee, and the media attempts to make her the victim. Police do not reveal the killer’s transgender identity until they are specifically asked. President Biden immediately politicizes this tragedy and calls for an “assault weapons” ban. When will this insanity end? When will these mentally ill people receive the treatment they deserve?

 

 

Unwitting Pawns

Everyone should practice tolerance, inclusion, acceptance and welcoming in their daily lives. Sharing those values within our community allows society to thrive. Problem is, these ideals have been corrupted by those that wish to foment distrust and division in this nation. Many who fall prey to this perversion of wholesome principals believe that past perceived injustices merit the abandonment of accepted societal norms in order to “make things right.”  Unfortunately, appeasing the loudest voices and acquiescing to radical ideology, allows an unfettered rush to a fundamental transformation of this great nation.

Deviant sexuality has prospered in this nation due to the mistaken belief that acceptance is the appropriate response to properly love your neighbor. This only promotes further attacks on the moral fiber of society. Like the school yard bully, inaction only increases the bully’s resolve. Without moral clarity, humankind’s innate selfishness takes the reins. We need to look at the reflection in the mirror and recognize who we really are. When traditional values are rejected and replaced with “new things” that disregard moral decency, one cannot easily justify those behaviors.

God created each of us with intrinsic differences, with different skills and talents. The gifts afforded to each of us vary. It is our differences that enable us to fulfill various roles that benefit all. Men and women are created to fulfill specific, yet equal roles, when raising children. Eliminate either from the equation and you stifle the child’s development. Both are necessary to guide and nurture the child. Both are necessary to instill values, morals, and faith. Both are necessary to impart the unique skillsets they possess to teach their children to become productive members of society. Without a mother or father, the child will seek to fill that void elsewhere.

Woke educators attempt to usurp parental rights by mainstreaming and encouraging experimentation with LGTBQ lifestyles, promoting transgenderism, and indoctrinating our youth with Critical Race Theory, at the expense of core education. Children are particularly impressionable and vulnerable to suggestion as they develop and learn. Trusting that curriculum will follow accepted societal norms is no longer acceptable. Without parental involvement in the education of their children, children will be at risk of the dominant woke culture that seeks to discard traditional values and replace them with leftist ideology.

Black lives matter, but no more than any other life. With God as our father, we are all brothers and sisters, no matter how we look on the outside. Race is a social construct. We are all members of one race; the human race. Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself, yet leftists are relentless in their attacks on Christianity. Forgiving others and turning the other cheek must be too foreign for leftists to understand. Revenge does nothing to right any perceived wrongs. Retribution does nothing to lift the spirit. Reparations do nothing but punish those who have committed no crime and reward those who have not suffered loss.

Those that agree with the path that the current administration is leading the country need to wake up. For those who acquiesce to the insanity that has overtaken this nation, hear this; You will have no place in this new world order, you are advocating for your own demise. The fundamental transformation of this nation is being abetted by those who put tolerance, acceptance, and inclusion above common sense. Leftists mean to tear down traditional society and replace it with socialism. Socialist elites will then make decisions for their benefit, while everyone else will be mired in mediocrity.

Look around. Are you satisfied with the current trajectory of our nation? Can you rationalize the criminality occurring on our city streets daily? Will you willingly choose to turn your life over to a ruling elite? The “leaders” of the World Economic Forum would like that. They have openly stated such. They know what is best for us underlings. If we sit back and allow it, it will happen and your worst nightmare will be realized.

It’s time that we turn back to the Judeo-Christian beliefs that made this nation great. It’s time that we are able to share differing opinions without being maligned. Leftists silence dissent. Leftists accuse their detractors of racism, homophobia, and transphobia. Leftists want you to be willing sheep to be led to slaughter. This is our future if we fail to uphold our Republic, founded as a more perfect union for all. And fall it will, if we sit back and do nothing.

 

Bitter Harvest

Unfortunately, Obama’s pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright was prophetic with his “the chickens have come home to roost” rant. They have indeed. The ideology of the left; white supremacy is rampant and a clear and present danger; that every problem in this nation is caused by racism and reparations are warranted; “My body, my choice” or what is actually abortion on demand; pursue the myth of toxic masculinity to villainize men; the persistent devaluation of biologic sexuality and the normalization of (homosexual/transexual/pansexual/bisexual and more; the demonization of faith and family; and the utter rejection of God, replaced with glorification of selfishness. Society has been brainwashed to place the blame for our shortcomings on anyone but ourselves. Society has been indoctrinated to believe that we are above our Creator and to accuse believers as ignorant, hateful, and unwelcoming. Society ignores God’s intended plan for humanity and we all suffer the consequences.

Rather than following Jesus’ teaching to love one’s neighbor, we devolve into tribal animals that hate those who think and look different from themselves. Rather than follow the science of biology and embrace our differences, gender is defined as fluid and biological sex is just a social construct of a patriarchal society dominated by privileged white males. Toxic masculinity is shouted from the rooftops without it even being defined. Rather than celebrating the sacred union of one man and one woman in the bonds of marriage in order to produce and raise children, we promote deviant sexual behavior as normal while persuading our children to, not only accept, but to experiment with these practices. Rather than accepting responsibility for our mistakes and learning from them, we look to place blame at everyone but ourselves. If you think the strife and pain occurring in this world is self-incurred, you would be absolutely correct. We have met the enemy, and it is us. Subtract God from the equation and there is no solution.

There is evil in the world and it is high time that we call it out for what it is. We can no longer trust the mainstream media to expose malfeasance or even report honestly and we cannot trust public education to teach truth, as they continue to try to out-woke each other. The task to instill morals and Christian values to the next generation resides with parents and the clergy. We are called to expose the evil that exists and is growing in our society. If we fail to acknowledge the rise of evil, we will be overcome by it. Far too many seek to just go along to get along, not wishing to be looked upon as judgmental. Problem is, evil flourishes when allowed to spread unabated. If we ignore what we know is wrong, it will not go away. It will grow and fester like an infection that goes untreated. Yes, we are called to love our neighbor, but we are also called to “To teach and not be resentful.  To gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance, leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.”

Failure to act is acquiescing to the evil that is creating havoc in our society. Parents are beginning to wake up, but far too many are still asleep at the wheel. Parents need to take an active role in the education of their children by attending all parent-teacher conferences, monitoring and understanding curriculum, teaching methods and confront School Boards that accept the “woke” agenda. Parents must find the time to take back our School Boards and eliminate the cultural rot that far too many school administrations pursue. A whole generation of our children are being indoctrinated to accept these false ideologies. It is far too late to stand back and let the “system” work it out without active participation by Christian parents. The future of our nation stands in the balance.

Pastors that try to strike a balance of acceptance and tolerance by “not going there” place their congregants at risk to the perception that leftist ideology must not be that bad if there is no one calling it out for what it is, evil. Loving your neighbor does not mean that you must accept every action they practice. Plain and simple, abortion is the murder of a preborn child. Transgenderism is the rejection of God by placing one’s desires above God’s will by the worship of oneself. Critical race theory pits one race against another, degrading another person based upon skin color alone. Racism is racism no matter who practices it. The “New World Order” looks to take away your individual rights, granted by God, to be replaced by a cabal of elites that will dictate our lives the way they see fit. This is evil personified and if we cannot have our clergy call out the evil in this world, they will have failed in their calling. Exposing an evil ideology and calling to reject it is not judgmental; it is simply revealing the truth.

Soon, we will reach the point of no return and our nation will fail. The chickens are in flight and the death throes of our nation have already begun. Question is; will you stand up for your God and nation, or will you just sit by and watch the evil one lead our nation and our children into the abyss?

Ship of Fools

Reason has left the building 

You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can fool many of the people far too often. Not exactly what P.T. Barnum said but ever so pertinent today. Thomas Jefferson said, “A democratic society depends upon an informed and educated citizenry.” Today many Americans are less informed than their counterparts of only a decade ago. It is staggering that so few people are aware of what once was common knowledge in an age where information is so readily available. Who is your Senator? Representative? Local officials? But ask about Tic Toc influencers or pop culture and they are all on it.

This nation is coerced by politicians that use hateful rhetoric, demonizing their political opponents to further their own selfish ambitions. The leftist media promotes contempt of accepted societal norms and refuses to report news that harms their chosen agenda. People preen their virtuosity as they advocate for the absurd, and these useful idiots continue to vote for politicians that promote an agenda that advocates against their own self-interests.

Woke teachers sexualize our children and cheer on drag queen story time, and far too many parents acquiesce to this insanity. Children, unable to understand the concept of gender fluidity and sexuality are encouraged to explore transgenderism and homosexuality, often without the knowledge or consent of their parents. States, like California, codify these insane ideologies into law. Tolerance and acceptance replace reason and common sense.

The leader of the free world is suffering from dementia and is barely self-aware, but at least the Bad Orange man is gone. Dr. Oz is declared a poor candidate, but democrats in Pennsylvania elect a Senator so cognitively challenged, that he can barely speak and a dead man, simply because there is a “D” after their names on the ballot. We are electing incompetent, anti-American, and corrupt leftists throughout our government and that government is appointing leftist and woke judges and bureaucrats. Biden was correct; Our Democracy is at risk, not by electing Republicans, but by acquiescing to this lunacy that is the left.

A standing army is necessary to maintain the sovereignty of the nations’ borders, to repel all enemies from said borders, and to protect the citizens of the United States from invasion. The military is to be trained to achieve these ends. This administration’s military leaders are more concerned with the woke politics of Critical Race Theory, affirming one’s chosen gender, mandating a “vaccine” that is neither safe, nor effective, and preferred pronouns. They search for a conspiracy of white supremacy in their ranks without any justification or evidence that it exists. Recruitment is falling short of the necessary numbers to properly populate our military, primarily because of these insane policies. Our military has become a laughingstock to our geopolitical enemies. Enemies that do not respect our military are more likely to become aggressive to us and around the world. That is the primary reason that Russia invaded Ukraine.

Best qualified for the job? Better be able to check the correct gender, race or preferred pronoun box or you will be passed over. Why are we standing by, doing nothing? What was once a nation of laws, built upon Judeo-Christian values is eroding away right before our eyes, with many Americans cheering it on. Love your neighbor as yourself has morphed into a burning hatred of opponents to leftist ideology, Christianity, and all things conservative. The tenets of Christianity, that charges all believers to love and support your fellow man, is derided by the left as hateful, homophobic, and exclusivity, when it is openly inclusive and welcoming to everyone. For certain, not all practicing Christians are good examples in living the way that Christ calls us to live, but the teachings of Christ are all about love, acceptance, and servitude to the world. Jesus said, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” “For if you forgive others who have sinned against you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you.” “Do not judge others and you will not be judged.”  “Beware of false prophets…you can identify them through their actions.” The false prophets in the media have brainwashed the masses so thoroughly that they have been overcome by evil. How else would one be offended by Jesus’ words?

An accounting of the direction that our country is heading is in order. We have become a ship without a rudder and no one cares. We must confront the evil that is blossoming in our nation or we will be overcome by it. Common sense Judeo-Christian values produced the greatest nation on earth to date. If we fail to re-embrace those values, stand by and do nothing, we may as well give the keys to our enemies. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Without Him, we are doomed to fail. We are a Christian nation. It’s time that our actions embrace His truth. It’s time that we look to that cross. It’s time that our nation rejects the evil that abounds and support good, Christian leaders that will fight to return this land to its’ rightful place as One Nation Under God.

Not a red wave, but with Republicans regaining a majority in the House, perhaps a measure of sanity can return to our government. Democrat leadership will have the opportunity to reflect and could decide to reject their radical policies of division. Unfortunately, Democrats are unlikely to alter their strategy, believing staving off a predicted red wave validates their policies. Expect them to move further left and continue their assault on our Constitutional Republic. This nation is so polarized by political ideologies, unqualified candidates are elected solely based on the letter after their name on the ballot. Breaking through another glass ceiling, Pennsylvania elected the first vegetable to the US Senate. Socialism, here we come.

In the ‘50’s, Joe McCarthy falsely alleged that communists were everywhere, intent on destroying our democracy. History repeats itself as the Democrat party hurls dishonest accusations of “white supremacy” and “the radicalized right” as existential threats to democracy. President Biden echoes this sentiment, with a strategy that vilifies his political opponents and falsely accuses them as a threat to democracy. Just as McCarthy’s assertions were patently false, our “Divider in Chief’s” words also ring hollow. This tactic had limited success, as Democrats appear to have maintained a narrow majority in the Senate.

Our military is to “stand down” to investigate and root out any “right-wing” extremism within its’ ranks, emphasizing CRT and diversity, rather than building a competent fighting force. Though there is no valid intelligence that indicates its existence, the Left promises this danger to our democracy will be ferreted out and eliminated. Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene utters comments deemed inappropriate, and Democrats vote to remove her from all committee assignments. Ilhan Omar, AOC, Rashida Talib, Ayanna Pressley and Maxine Watters incite violence, transfer campaign contributions to family members and you can cue the crickets. The mainstream media, in a concerted effort to hasten political upheaval, unabashedly support leftist aspirations while disparaging all things conservative. The effort to drive their chosen narrative rather than report factual news, goes against all journalistic standards. This double standard is apparent and appalling.

Disagree with the Left on immigration, and you are racist. Challenge their unhinged desire to rid the planet of fossil fuels, and you are a science denier killing the planet. Follow the science in the fight against COVID-19, and you’ll be censured by social media and labeled a heretic by the mainstream media. Point out that there are differences between the genders and you’re homophobic, transphobic or just plain too stupid to understand that biological sex is in the eye of the beholder and is as fluid as water. Question voting irregularities in the 2020 Presidential election, and you’ll be de-platformed or cancelled. Parents that challenge “woke” curriculum are accused of domestic terrorism. The mainstream media amplifies vitriol emanating from the Left, reporting with supportive nods, while disparaging any conservatives that uphold the rule of law.

The Overton Window is an accepted theory that political change is driven by what the public is willing to consider and accept at that time. Typically, change is incremental, but now the pendulum has swung so steep and sharply to the left that many believe it irrevocably broken. The unthinkable has evolved into policy far too easily and rapidly. Democrat leadership’s reckless embrace of all things “woke” has driven hyper-partisanship and vilified dissent. A compliant news media propagandizes that electing conservative leadership will end democracy. Truth is, the Left does seek to end democracy.

Leftist ideology has enslaved the democrat party. The Left’s unbridled ambition to acquire and maintain power damages the very pillars of law and order by using government agencies to attack their political opponents. Leftism is a metastasized cancer that is destroying the very fabric of our society and nation. Cancer must be excised completely for the body to heal or it will return and spread. Leftism must be defeated. Unless Democrat leadership moderates, they must be voted out. The Left aspires to eliminate faith in God, end the Constitutional right to protect yourself, murder unborn children with impunity, open borders, eradicate their political opponents, indoctrinate our children with perverse sexual education and divide them by race. The Left will continue their unrelenting ambition to fundamentally transform this nation. Supporters of this madness need to wake up and recognize that the Democrat party has rejected established societal values. It’s time we realize we are not Democrats or Republicans. We are Americans and we need to start acting as such.

Crazy Train

A nation divided cannot stand.

Never thought that of all people, Ozzie Osborne, could be a prophet, but after President Biden’s Labor Day speech, perhaps he is. From the song, Crazy Train – “Crazy, but that’s how it goes. Millions of people, living as foes. Maybe it’s not too late to learn how to love and forget how to hate. I’ve listened to preachers, I’ve listened to foes. I’ve watched all the dropouts that live by their own rules. One person conditioned to rule and control. The media sells it and you live the role. Heirs of a cold war, that’s what we’ve become. I’m going off the rails on a crazy train.” Christian, conservative, married, heterosexual, retired police officer, former County Board Chairman and Trump voter, I am exactly what the Left and their leader, Joe Biden, fear and despise. Respect for the rule of law becomes a threat to democracy. Support America first is tantamount to semi-fascism. Opposing open borders, indoctrination of our children and military, recognizing that all people matter and acknowledging the reality that there are only two genders is radical and divisive. We are going off the rails on a crazy train!

Mandela Barnes is the anointed Democrat candidate for the United States Senate, with all challengers dropping out of the race and endorsing him.  Barnes, whose given name is Jesse, uses his middle name to his advantage. He is nothing like Nelson Mandela. Barnes life’s legacy has been supporting progressive, left-wing organizations. He supports ending cash bail, defunding the police, the Green New Deal, unlimited abortion, Medicare for all and legalizing marijuana. He chaired the Governor’s task force on climate change, yet could not cite a single policy he helped implement when asked about it at a climate change event at UW-River Falls in March of 2022. Perhaps, he could not recall because he was overcome by carbon monoxide fumes from the Wisconsin State Patrol vehicle, used as his personal escort service, that he ordered to run continuously when at the Capitol, so that the interior climate was appropriately comfortable for him. This “service” cost taxpayers over $600,000 during his 4-year term as Lieutenant Governor. Also known as ManDead-Beat Barnes for being delinquent on his property taxes and failing to pay parking tickets, leading to his Wisconsin Driver’s license being suspended. He also falsely claimed to be a college graduate for years. Barnes is a founding member of the Working Families Party of Wisconsin, an offshoot of ACORN, that supports defunding the police. Minnesota became a laughingstock by electing a professional wrestler as Governor and a Saturday Night Live comedian as their US Senator. Barnes, who thinks he is running against Scott Walker, (just a slip of the tongue according to his spokesperson) to represent Wisconsin in the Senate. We are going off the rails on a crazy train!

The incumbent Senator, Ron Johnson has been a proven leader, unafraid to challenge the status quo. The Joseph Project works with faith-based organizations to help inner city residents become gainfully employed. The Right to Try Act allows those suffering from incurable illness access to drugs not yet approved by the FDA. He will continue to fight against the reckless spending and exposing the use of the federal justice system to target political enemies. Being transparent and honest makes him a target for the left and the entrenched Deep State. We need more elected representatives that do the right thing, not some lifelong bureaucrat to perpetuate the disfunction in Washington DC.

Governor Tony Evers is the quintessential bureaucrat that lacks any experience outside of the government. Like far too many politicians, his life experience ill prepared him for a role as Governor. His crowning achievements consist of vetoing more bills and pardoning more criminals that any other Governor in our history. Plagiarism is one of his more popular methods for taking credit for other’s accomplishments. He even took credit for the Republican crafted budget that reduced taxes $2 Billion when the budget presented by Evers raised taxes by $1 Billion. He did sign it though. Evers’ legacy will be that of Illegal lockdowns, closed schools, mask mandates, anti-police rhetoric, the failure to lead during the Kenosha riots and walking lock-step with the failed policies of the Biden administration.

Tim Michels, Evers’ opponent, is a businessman that created thousands of jobs and runs a successful company. Michels, like all successful entrepreneurs, has a detailed plan to solve what ails us. He has a blueprint with solutions to our bloated and ineffective government on his website. Fancy that, an actual plan, on paper for all to read, rather than slogans and platitudes. The contrast could not be clearer. Democrats are running this nation off the rails on a crazy train of wokeness, lawlessness and anti-Constitutionalism. We need leaders that want to solve problems, not perpetuate them while creating more problems that will require more of the taxpayer’s money thrown at them. It’s your choice.

Time to get real

What once was a kid’s game has evolved into something it was never intended to be. No longer is this a game played among giggling young people, it has become a twisted reality as the Biden administration continues to blur the boundaries of governing and rank partisanship. This great nation, built upon the rule of law and the trustworthiness of a fair and impartial government, is failing its’ citizenry by abandoning the independence necessary to maintain a Constitutional Republic. Democrats that seized the majority in the House, Senate and the Presidency have determined that half of the country is a threat to their idea of democracy. With that determination, the full power and authority of federal law enforcement has been unleashed against those in which they disagree. What once was a government of, by and for the people, has turned the rule of law upside down, using it as a cudgel to strike at their political opponents. A willing and compliant media parrots Democrat talking points in unison, failing to uphold its’ responsibility to hold the powerful accountable, unless the powerful just happen to be Republican.

Our divider in chief, President Joseph R. Biden rails against half of the US population and declares them semi-fascists. Those that respect the law, support accepted societal norms, challenge the insane “wokeism” that is infiltrating education, the military and society in general stand accused by our President and Democrat leaders as malevolent and immoral, while they offer tacit support for violent Marxists like Antifa and Black Lives Matter. Riots, looting and burning throughout the summer of 2020 were viewed as mostly peaceful, seldom prosecuted and our current Vice-President Kamala Harris championed funding to bail out jailed rioters. While many of the January 6^th protesters should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, many have been languishing in prison for over a year, with their due process rights violated. No matter the crime, everyone must be afforded the Constitutional right to a speedy trial, access to appropriate legal representation and incarceration that is reasonable and humane.

Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, was reckless with real-time, classified and top-secret information, kept on an unsecure, non-government server. Congressional subpoenaed documents were deleted and destroyed. She was never prosecuted nor served with a search warrant. The Director of the FBI, James Comey, closed the investigation when he declared that no reasonable prosecutor would issue charges. Presidential records, kept under lock and key, guarded by Secret Service agents, necessitated the execution of an unprecedented search warrant at the home of former President Trump to retrieve documents held there since January 2021.

Hunter Biden left his lap-top computer at a Delaware computer repair shop. It contained evidence of potential criminal activity by the Biden family. The FBI seized the lap-top in 2019, but did no further investigation. The FBI not only ignored evidence; it sent agents to warn social media companies of a potential dump of Russian mis-information. When the New York Post obtained a copy of the hard-drive and reported on the troubling information, they were de-platformed from social media. Mainstream media refuted the validity of the report and 51 former national security officials denounced it as Russian propaganda. This quickly became the narrative of the mainstream media. 18 months later, the lap-top is verified as Hunter Biden’s, but again the media quickly buries the story.

There is building evidence of a troubling pattern of behavior by our government. Our nation’s judicial system cannot properly serve the citizens if it is biased. The rule of law guides the actions, determines whether a crime has been committed and adjudicates the process fairly and without prejudice. The government is again, picking winners and losers, but this time based solely upon political affiliation. Ignore a Democrat’s transgressions, throw the hammer at any Republican that offends their sensibilities. And, at all costs, keep Donald Trump from ever holding office again.

Truth is that the Democrat leaders are driving this nation off a cliff, not only economically, but by tearing apart the social fabric of our society. They will dismantle this nation in order to achieve their goal of a new liberal world order. Democrats are daring the public to stop this insanity. They believe that you cannot. You do have the power to begin to take back this nation when you cast your vote this November. Or will you stand by and allow the Democrats to fundamentally transform this nation?

Truth is....

Truth is the body of real things, events and facts, conformity with fact or reality, a verified or undisputable fact, proposition, principle or the like. Truth is not what you want or hope it to be. Truth is real. Truth is factual. Truth is tangible, genuine and unaffected by one’s perception of it. Truth has been twisted to fit the agenda of those who would destroy us. This is our reality: Our society is at a tipping point. Right is wrong, up is down and evil is good. There are those that would have you believe and accept lies as truth. Virtue signaling and wokeness is overtaking common sense. The following are the inconvenient truths that refute the direction of the woke left.

Truth is that an unborn child is a human life from the time of conception. Every child has distinct DNA that will guide their development in the womb becoming a unique human being. Choosing to end that life with a procedure known as an abortion, dismissing the unborn child as some sort of non-viable tissue, in order to make a woman feel less angst and guilt, does not lessen the criminal act of homicide. Our constitution states that we are endowed with certain inalienable rights by our Creator. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Actions that end a life, are expressly prohibited by each and every State and punishable by up to life in prison. How then does an abortion, a premeditated decision to take an action that ends a human life, any different? How is this an individual right granted by the Constitution? It is not! When the Senate majority leader, Chuck Schumer, has the temerity to scale the steps of the Supreme Court, pound on the door and intimidate seated justices by name, in support of an abortion “rights” protest, perhaps leading an unhinged left winger to attempt to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh, something is terribly wrong.

Truth is that, even though I am not a biologist, there are only two genders, male and female. Gender dysphoria affects .005 to .014% of biological males and .002 to .003% of biological females. Those that are gender confused are suffering from a mental disorder similar to a person suffering from anorexia, according to Dr. Paul McHugh, former psychiatrist in chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Persons that believe that they assigned the wrong gender at birth and undergo sex reassignment surgery have a 20 times higher rate of suicide than the general public. Leftist talking points that blame non-acceptance of those who believe they are transgender causes a higher rate of suicide is patently false. 70-80% of children that experience gender confusion spontaneously lose those feelings and return to normal. Teaching kindergartners about sex, transgenderism and homosexuality is ludicrous. They do not possess the mental capacity to understand any of those concepts and should not be taught to accept alternate lifestyles as normative, especially at an age where they can be easily manipulated and confused.

Truth is that guns do not commit murder. Law abiding citizens do not commit murder. Criminals commit murder. Mentally ill people commit murder and the constitutional rights that protect them from unreasonable search and seizure is used to keep those who need mental health treatment from receiving it. Unless it can be proven that the mentally ill are a danger to themselves or others, they will continue to freely roam our society until they actually take action to harm themselves or others. The left decries those that want to protect their 2^nd Amendment rights as facilitators of murder and accuse Republicans of failing to provide appropriate funding for mental illness treatment. The Federal Government allocated over $238 billion in Federal funds to augment each State’s spending on mental health programs in 2020. Just as the “war on poverty” has proven, throwing money at a problem is never a viable solution without attempting to solve the root causes. The mentally ill deserve the chance to have the appropriate treatment for their disease just as much as the public must be protected by those that often cannot determine right from wrong. Far too often it is too late when society diagnoses those with mental illness.

Truth is that parents that are concerned about the content and quality of their children’s education are not domestic terrorists. Anti-fa and Black Lives Matter are domestic terrorist organizations. Why would the Department of Justice target parents, yet ignore the violence, vandalism and anarchy promoted and perpetrated by organizations that actually advertise their desire to tear down our Constitutional Republic and replace it with socialism, in turn, leading to communism?

Truth is one political party is in bed with everything antithetical to the will of God. This drive to fundamentally transform our society is of the world. “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.”  Romans 12:2 We are called to follow the teaching of Christ, not embrace things that are of the world. Foolhardy energy policies are driving up the price of gas to its’ highest level ever, causing undue hardship on those in the bottom rungs of our society. Unwarranted Federal spending is driving inflation to its’ highest level since Jimmy Carter, 40 years ago. All goods and services are increasing in cost. This administration advances immigration policies that disregard the law and open our borders to crime, drugs and the facilitation of human trafficking. The pandemic was used to ignore election laws and opened the door to voting fraud by allowing unlimited mail in and drop box balloting in all the battleground states. That likely turned the tide against Donald Trump and helped “elect” Joe Biden. Some blue cities are even allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections. Our military leaders emphasize inclusivity and wokeness instead of producing soldiers that would be able to protect our homeland. Our educators indoctrinate our children with CRT, SEL and the like, taking time away from teaching science, technology, engineering and math, leading to abysmal scores in the STEM areas of study. We are no better than many third world countries in the quality of our education, producing a generation of illiterates. This is not the direction our Savior would have us travel.

Truth is the dark path this nation is traveling is pushing us into the abyss. There seems to be no way to slow this rocket sled towards hell. We can feel lost, with the sense that we are unable to stop this runaway train. We cannot, of our own volition, make a real difference. “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 In this broken, sinful and dark world, how do we, as Christians shine the light of Jesus into the darkness? The only way we can overcome this great evil is through Him. There have always been differing opinions, but most shared common goals, no matter the politics. That has changed. Without any common ground, we cannot reconcile with one another. Without any common ground, we make enemies of our neighbors. Without common ground, we are doomed to failure and the fall of our nation. There is one common ground that we all share. We are all children of God, and that makes us all brothers and sisters. We have one Savior, who gave His life for us even though we are all sinful human beings, who love ourselves more than our Creator.

Truth is that we must be able to open a door to dialogue with those in which we disagree. As Christians we are called to “make disciples of all nations”, especially those in opposition to Christianity. After all, Jesus told the rabbis in Mark 2:17, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” So, it is incumbent upon us to reach out to the lost and open a door so that they can recognize their true Savior, and we cannot accomplish this if we build walls and harbor animosity toward those in which we disagree. Those who are lost are not going to find their way to Jesus if we fail to engage with understanding and love. God loves all of His children unconditionally and wants all to come to Him. Listen to opposing viewpoints. Find common ground. Plant the seeds that the Spirit can nurture and grow. Take the first step toward healing our division. “On the contrary, “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink. For in so doing, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:20-21 It is difficult to hate someone who is gracious and respectful. We are not to pass judgement. We are called to gently correct. God is reaching down His hand to set things right, and that hand is tapping you on the shoulder to be His hands and feet. Will you listen and act?
