Lack of oversight facilitates fraud.

Total federal spending in 2000 was $1.789 Trillion. Fast forward 25 years and federal spending has ballooned to $7.010 Trillion, almost quadrupling. The size and scope of the federal government has exceeded its ability to monitor and manage its vast tentacles as it attempts to impact every aspect of our lives. And some are just fine with that. There is no government spending program that democrats do not believe is absolutely essential, or that is too frivolous, in their efforts to spend our tax dollars. Case in point; USAID. Billions of tax dollars wasted on programs, with little or no oversight, that did nothing to actually fulfill the role in which it was created. Yet, democrats fought tooth and nail for each and every wasteful spending adventure in transgender education for Sudan and the like.

Oversight for this spending lies with Congress. 535 members cannot conduct the appropriate oversight with the scope of a government that surpasses understanding. The nearest star to the earth, Proxima Centauri, is 4.24 light years away, or approximately 25 trillion miles. Federal spending this year, if dollars were substituted with miles, would get us almost 1/3 of the way to Proxima Centauri. The Federal debt is over $37Trillion, or 12 trillion miles beyond our nearest star. Wrapping one’s head around the vastness of those numbers is almost beyond the capacity of human ability. Factor in the deep state’s desire to protect themselves from oversight and with programs that basically write blank checks, and you get a recipe for disaster with an avenue for rampant fraud.

Washington is the epitome of “pay for play.” You scratch my back by facilitating a contract with my firm and you get rewarded with a $6-7 figure job in the private sector when you retire. Many of our elected “representatives” have accrued wealth far beyond their salary accumulation, precisely because they know how to use their status for gain. This DC two-step is not solely a one-party problem, it is widespread throughout local, State, and Federal government, with elected officials and bureaucrats benefiting alike. There is no rational explanation for career politicians amassing such wealth, other than they are receiving illicit payments. And why would so many of our elected representatives resist passing legislation that prohibits “insider” stock trading by Congress?

For Marxism to take root and spread, capitalism must be dismantled. One strategy is to spend the government into oblivion. In 1966, leftist sociologists Richard Cloward and Francis Fox-Piven developed a plan to generate societal chaos by overwhelming the welfare system. This Cloward-Piven Strategy opens the door to the creation of a federal program of income redistribution. It then becomes necessary to subsidize even more of the poor once the welfare system collapses. The term “stimulus” is simply a pretense for income redistribution. The government takes from producers and gives to nonproducers, increasing dependency on federal government support. A representative government is replaced with an elite ruling class, a tyrannical autocracy that makes the rules and has the sole power to enforce them. Sound familiar? It is part and parcel of the Democrat Socialists of America (DSA) policy platform.

This is the AOC/Bernie Sanders wing of the democrat party, one that “mainstream” democrats have little issue with as they fail to distance themselves from its radical policies. Any port in the storm when your primary goal is to seek, gain and maintain power and authority. If it increases odds of a democrat takeover, to them, that is a path well taken, no matter the consequences to this nation. The current democrat party is wholly unrecognizable from the party of JFK. Today’s Republican party is more representative of the “blue dog democrats” that placed country over party, than today’s democrats that will abandon their responsibility to constituents just to undermine President Trump.

Placing some of our representatives in charge of managing oversight for $Trillions in Federal spending, is like making a fox responsible for guarding the henhouse. Tax dollars go out the door to pet programs and money returns to the democrat national committee (DNC) via non-profits and NGO’s that were tasked to manage and distribute the funds to the “worthy” causes. Smurfs were utilized by the democrat fundraising site Act Blue to launder $Millions to democrat causes and candidates. Investigations continue that may lead to the discovery of tax dollars earmarked for USAID programs and money sent to Ukraine to aid in their war effort against Russia, that was redirected to the DNC in millions of donations small enough to evade detection by the Federal Election Commission.

This fraud is happening in plain sight, discovered by independent journalists, like Nick Shirley and James OKeefe, that are not in the pocket of the democrat party as is most of the legacy media. But there is a solution available to every US citizen. The opportunity to win this fight against dishonest politicians occurs every other year. We the people hold the key to hold the wicked accountable. Your informed vote can put good people into office, just as it can remove those who betray the public trust. Democrats, as constituted, have betrayed their duty to represent the public and must be voted out of office. We the people have the duty to elect those who understand their obligation as public servants. We also have the duty to remove those who do not. Make your vote count this November.

US history has been deliberately distorted.

On the 250^th anniversary of the founding of this great nation, many of our young people are disillusioned, ashamed of our sordid past. We have endured decades of leftist academia indoctrinating our youth with the lie that America is inherently flawed due to its past sins of slavery and racism. That America is a colonizer, reaping its riches on the backs of the oppressed. Many young people have accepted this propaganda as fact. Capitalism is decried as an unfair system that rewards the few at the expense of the many. Young people are susceptible to the siren call of socialism, taught as a fairer and more equitable system. That lie is repeated over and over, so “systemic racism enforced by a white patriarchal system” is believed to be an accurate assessment of our society.

·         Is our history of slavery and racial bias unique?

·         Is what has been and is being taught historically accurate?

·         And how do our sins stack up against the rest of the world?

Slavery was abolished after the Civil War in 1865. Europe ended slavery well before. The rest of the Americas ended slavery a few years earlier with the exception of Brazil, which ended it in 1888. Much of Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East continued slavery well into the 20^th Century, with China still employing forced labor of Uyghur Muslim minorities and Tibetans. Other than the European nations, slavery in the United States ended at relatively the same time as other nations, making us no worse than much of the planet.

Racism in the United States, particularly in the south, was pervasive and borderline criminal. Following the Civil Rights Act of 1964, opposed fervently by southern democrats and passed by Republicans, racial equality began to take root into American society. Other nations practiced racism in a quite different manner. Where American minorities were subjected primarily to economic discrimination, other countries eliminated those who were different. Genocide and ethnic cleansing has occurred throughout history, including Armenians in Azerbaijan, Muslim Rohingyas in Myanmar, Ukrainians by Russia, the Yazidis in Iraq and Syria, the Fur, Masalit, and Zaghawa in Darfur, and the Bambuti pigmies in the Congo, and these occurred after the onset of the 21^st Century. Millions have been murdered or executed due to racism or religion worldwide since the dawn of humans. American “systemic” racism pales in comparison.

The radicals of the 60’s reconfigured their strategies to overthrow the government of the United States. Instead of committing violent acts, they targeted academia. Radical professors have indoctrinated a veritable army of young converts. Public education is rife with teachers that have “learned” the ways of leftism and are teaching our children a new set of values. These “teachers” have sowed seeds of division by undermining the freedoms endowed by our Creator, exhorting these young people to hate themselves and others. Leftist ideology has unduly influenced generations of young people to embrace illegal immigration, transgenderism, antisemitism, socialism and hatred of American values. This shift leftward of our society has left us vulnerable to Marxist vultures circling, waiting for an opportunity to strike.

Marxists looking to consolidate power employ these indoctrinated pawns as an army of mindless automatons to promote their agenda. They use the age-old strategy of addition by division, creating an oppressor-oppressed, victim-victimizer, have and have-not argument to bolster their quest to institutionalize democratic socialism. One of the seven deadly sins that continually plagues humankind is envy, and class envy is the fuel that nourishes the engine of socialism.

Also benefiting from our young people’s self-loathing are the Muslims. Taking full advantage of our welcoming and tolerance, they position themselves to obtain positions in government. Once in power, those useful idiots that opened the door for their ascension, are left behind as Sharia law factors into the equation. Europe is discovering the insidiousness of the Muslim plan for dominance. Muslims refuse to assimilate into the culture that they have emigrated. They adhere to their own customs while refusing to acknowledge their responsibility as guests by treating their benefactors with disrespect. While Americans point fingers at each other as we try to out-virtue signal each other, Marxists and Muslims, strange bedfellows, sit ready to pounce. If we ignore the danger in plain sight, we will soon wake up to find a country that no longer resembles the land of the free.

Marxism and Islam are both a clear and present threat and must be defeated. President Trump was correct, the United States will never be a socialist nation, unless we allow it to happen. Sharia law has been instituted in portions of some blue cities. If you want burkha clad women to become the norm, ignore the Muslim threat. Immigrants that refuse to assimilate, abuse the hospitality offered them, and seek to change the culture should be sent back to their country of origin on the next available plane. Those who reside in America, yet hate it, have worn out their welcome. We cannot allow radical minorities create policy for the majority.

The ballot box is the most powerful tool for a representative republic. We have the power to elect representatives that are God fearing and adhere to traditional values. We have the power to be an informed electorate that elect those who would serve, not abuse their authority. Traditional values reprise the majority in this nation, yet our representatives include those who do not and seek to benefit themselves. Pervasive apathy has led to a government that serves itself rather than the people. Vote appropriately and make certain that everyone that you know that holds your values casts their vote this November.

California democrats show their true colors.

Independent investigative reporter Nick Shirley did the job that mainstream media “journalists” refused to do. He dug deep and discovered vast amounts of fraudulent activity in the Minneapolis Somali community that bilked taxpayers of $Billions. Shirley has continued to follow other leads as he investigates and reports on similar cases of fraud in Ohio and California. The democrat led California Legislature just passed a bill criminalizing the exact type of investigative reporting that Shirley has conducted. Apparently, defrauding the federal government is right, good, and salutary for California democrats. Your tax dollars are to be exploited however democrats see fit.

Ballot counting continues from Tuesday’s primary election. It appears that the “jungle primary” will not finish with two Republicans moving on to the regular election for governor in November. Had that happened, California legislators, in a fit of raw partisan hypocrisy, were poised to change the rules, mid-stream, to maintain “fairness,” even though the jungle primary was enacted specifically to benefit democrats. As for the Los Angeles mayor’s primary race, mail in ballots continue to be dropped and the interloper candidate, Spencer Pratt, fails to garner any votes from those drops. All too convenient you say? Democrats will stop at nothing to maintain power.

In New York, the democrat legislature is attempting to eliminate the nuclear family. New legislation identifying mothers as “gestating parent” and fathers as “non-gestating parent.” This out-of-control wokeness legislation would also redefine paternity as “parentage” and deadbeat fathers or putative father to “alleged parent.” A similar attempt by democrat Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers to redefine mothers as “inseminated persons” in his budget proposal went up in flames. The democrat party’s infatuation with gender identity is mind-boggling, especially since 70-80% of the populace opposes this insanity.  

From Reform California is a list of some of the 2025 California legislatures most egregious bills;

1. AB 1333 – would make self-defense illegal by allowing an individual to be charged with a crime for defending themselves from a criminal.
2. AB 1421 – would impose a costly mileage tax on all CA drivers – costing $900 to $1200 a year on top of the nation’s highest gas and car taxes.
3. AB 49 – would prohibit ICE from going onto school property to conduct enforcement, protecting criminals instead of kids.
4. AB 916 – would ban hand soap and body wash containing disinfectant or antiseptic ingredients - after encouraging their use during the pandemic.
5. AB 766 – would force state agencies to shove Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) goals into their strategic plans.
6. AB 681 – would give undocumented students up to $140,000 in taxpayer funded loans—while actual citizens get nothing comparable to that.
7. AB 309 – would provide free needles to drug users across the state, encouraging substance abuse instead of addressing it.
8. AB 554 – would force insurers to cover HIV prevention drugs like PrEP, which works like a condom, treating personal choices as an insurance obligation.
9. AB 715 – would allow attorneys who break the law in other states to continue practicing in California, no matter what crimes they’ve committed.
10. AB 471 – would increase pay for local politicians, putting taxpayer money into the pockets of already overpaid elected officials.
11. ACA 2 – would guarantee gold-plated pensions for politicians, ensuring politicians have a cushy retirement while taxpayers’ foot the bill.
12. AB 56 – would force social media platforms to warn you about dangers every day— more nanny state nonsense.
13. AB 446 – would ban businesses from using personal data to adjust their prices, even though the government does the same by charging different rates based on income.
14. AB 475 – would ban requiring prisoners in state prisons to do basic work like cleaning, laundry, and cafeteria work.
15. AB 1187 – would require anyone wanting to buy a gun to attend an eight-hour training course every time they purchase one.
16. SB 281 – would vacate criminal convictions for non-citizens if they weren’t warned about deportation risks—an automatic get-out-of-jail-free card.
17. AB 397 – would provide child tax credits for undocumented individuals up to age 18, rewarding illegal behavior and draining taxpayer resources.
18. AB 435 – would increase the age requirement for securing children in a baby seat from 8 to 13 years old.
19. AB 891 – would convert already cramped highway lanes into bicycle lanes.
20. AB 954 – would divert gas tax revenue, which was initially promised to be used for road maintenance, to fund bicycle lane construction.

California is a microcosm of all that is wrong with the democrat party. If democrats are allowed to gain majorities in Congress in the mid-terms this November, these are the types of policies that will be enacted into law for all of us. Heaven help us if a democrat wins the presidency in 2028 and has a democrat-controlled Congress. Republicans are far from perfect, but the alternative is a disaster waiting to happen.

Weaponized Ignorance

Shout out to Senator John Kennedy for coining the term “weaponized ignorance.” Virtue signalers. Transgender activists. Global warming disciples. Defenders of illegal alien criminals. Hamas supporters, antisemites, and Islam lovers. Socialism aficionados. Public education indoctrinators. Avowed leftists. Race baiters. The ever leftward leaning media. Useful idiots all. Ignorance can take many forms and can be weaponized in a variety of behaviors. Intelligence is not a prerequisite for the activist class.

Intelligence is definitely not required for public service. Perhaps candidates need to pass a test prior to placement on the ballot. This would absolutely improve the quality of our elected representatives, but a better-informed public would be able to prevent the absurdity that exists today.

The right to peacefully protest and to petition the government for a remedy for their grievances is enshrined in the 1^st Amendment to the US Constitution. Leftist funded anarchists, paid protesters, and self-proclaimed do-gooders attend well organized and often violent demonstrations. Those are not peaceful protests. Those demonstrations are not to petition government for valid grievances. Those are insurrections, carefully planned to create chaos and organize a rebellion.

Far too many of our public education institutions allow, or perhaps encourage, indoctrination of students to leftist ideology. Rather than educate those students to be productive members of society, they create automatons incapable of rational thought, spouting slogans spoon fed to them by leftist “educators.” Public schools in the US are failing. Test scores are falling below those of some third world countries. Our future leaders are emerging from the rot ingested from our schools and universities.

Rational people operate within the rules of civil society and tend to make logical decisions. Irrational people make poor decisions and defy the rules of order without regard to the consequences of their actions. The left has created a generation of irrational people that are used to further the cause of fundamentally transforming this nation into something it was never intended to be. Irrational hatred drives the speech and actions of these deranged leftists. And that hate has spread to erstwhile “normal” liberals and democrats. Unhinged attacks upon the very freedoms protecting the citizens of this nation push society ever closer to a new civil war.

The democrat party has decided that hatred of all things Trump is a winning strategy. Fact is, that there are no policies from the democrats that are positive for the citizens of the United States. Their platform, especially their obsession with promoting abortion and transgenderism for children, is void of anything positive. They have devolved into incessant ranting about Trump being an existential threat to democracy. It is truly sad that so much hatred is misdirected when democrats should be offering an alternative plan other than simply opposing anything Trump and Republicans propose.

The legacy media continues to trumpet opinion as if it is reporting the news objectively. When facts are omitted or ignored when they fail to bolster the left’s argument, journalists fail in their duty to report and inform the public. As the Fourth Estate, they are to hold the powerful accountable, for both parties. That is about as far from the truth as more than 90% of legacy news reporting is negative toward President Trump and Republicans. When will people realize that they are being spoon fed a narrative that is detrimental to civil society?

Islamophobia is cited almost as often as “white” people are decried as racists. Wake up and smell the roses, Muslims intend to overrun the western world, eliminate our freedoms, and institute sharia law. Sharia law will prohibit homosexuality, freedom of expression, and end all other religions. Yet leftists fail to understand that they have no place in an Islamic society and would likely face a death sentence should Muslims come to power.

Secularism is encroaching upon the Judeo-Christian values that this nation was founded upon. This is the very reason behind the chaos that is overwhelming western society. Secularism lacks the moral compass that Christianity provides. Secularism denies our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, ordaining the worship and love of self over the worship and love of God. The one who had no sin that sacrificed Himself, took upon our sin, and rose again so that we may have eternal life is the solution to all that ails our society. All He wants is our heart. Follow Jesus and hatred melts. Follow Jesus and love triumphs. Follow Jesus and reject the ignorance that leads to chaos and death. Love one another as He loves us. This must be proclaimed loudly and proudly from the pulpit. God’s will is recorded in black and white, not in shades of gray. Pastors must call out what is evil. We are sheep in need of spiritual guidance. If the pulpit is silent or lacks the courage to call out what is wrong in God’s eyes, that pastor not only fails in his/her duty to properly serve the Lord, but risks losing their sheep to the evil of the world.

Do what you do best?

When one escapes from a third world country, one can suffer culture shock and find it difficult to adjust. When one is accustomed to lawlessness, it can be difficult to adapt to a society guided by the rule of law. When one has lived without freedom, reacting to almost unlimited freedom can be challenging. When graft, corruption, and fraud is part and parcel of your life, assimilating into a society that values truth, justice, and hospitality can shake one to his core, unless, of course, you can utilize those skills to your advantage. Especially if your religion frowns upon the very principles that hold western society together and grants license to cheat, lie, and steal when dealing with unbelievers.

Far too many Muslims practice a perverted form of Islam, known as Islamism. Islamism exhorts its followers on a path of radical militancy. Islamism admonishes Muslims to forcibly “convert” non-believers and permits violence if they refuse. US foreign policy that attempted to impose western democracy on theocratic Middle Eastern Islamic societies failed miserably. Democracy is antithetical to Islam. In Islam theocracies religious leaders control government, institute religious law, and lead their armies. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of association that we take for granted are prohibited.

It is no surprise when Muslims refuse to assimilate into a culture that offers freedoms that are foreign and conflict with the tenets of the religion they practice. In other words, you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make them drink, especially if their Imam preaches that they should refuse to do so. This parallels liberals that flee democrat, poorly governed cities and states that enact policies that are detrimental to them. While they seek refuge in Republican, well governed states, they often continue to foolishly vote for democrats in their new homes.

Somali Muslims in Minnesota and other states stand accused of running fraud schemes that could result in tens of $Billions of taxpayer funds lost. Quran 3:54 - "And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them): and Allah is the best of schemers." “The Arabic word used here for scheme (or plot) is makara, which means 'cunning,' 'guile' and 'deceit'. If Allah is supremely deceitful toward unbelievers, then there is little basis for denying that Muslims are allowed to do the same.” From Thereligionofpeace.com. Islam permits or encourages followers to engage in deception as a means to defeat the enemy, or non-believers. Islam is simply a false religion. There is no other way to justify a religion that promotes that type of behavior toward your fellow man.

Lying, cheating, and stealing is prohibited. Violence is abhorrent to our God and Creator. God is a God of love, not hate. Because of the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we want others to come to Christ in order to receive the joy of salvation that we are so grateful for. We do not hate or disparage non-believers; we are especially called to not to judge those who are lost. There is no call to punish unbelievers on this side of eternity. God wants every single one of His children to come to Him of their own volition. But those who choose to reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will have no place in His kingdom. It is the choice of the individual to believe or not.

Has the will of God been perverted by His church? Absolutely! It continues to this day. But the tenets of faith, as attested in the Bible, are clear, convincing, and most importantly, true. God’s will is perfect. Man’s religion is not. Obedience brings us closer to Him. Islam requires obedience and imposes earthly consequences on those who fail to obey. God sent His only Son to take upon all our sins, suffer the fate that we deserved, and rose from the dead, ensuring all believers a path to salvation. Salvation is gained by faith alone. God’s word is Scripture alone.

Every day democrats raise the alarm that Christianity and conservative values are an existential threat to our democracy! The true threat to democracy is tacitly supporting the institution of Muslim authority. DNI Tulsi Gabbard recently decried the growing influence of Islam in several cities, including in Paterson, New Jersey. This prompted Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) to accuse Gabbard of Islamophobia and to defend the Muslim residents of that city. Too bad he could not get so fired up over the antisemitic and anti-Christian rhetoric emanating from he and his party. Paterson has seen a large uptick in crimes against persons. Paterson, NJ has crime rates higher than 93.4% of other cities in the US. Their Muslim mayor declared Paterson the capital of Palestine during Ramadan this year. Perhaps Senator Booker should be more concerned about confronting crime in his state.

We are called to love our neighbor as ourselves. That command carries great weight and responsibility. Islam is not another path to salvation. Islam views Jesus Christ as a prophet, not the Son of God and does not recognize His resurrection. Without Jesus, followers of Islam will not receive salvation. In our interactions, led by Christian love, we must realize that fact. As with any non-believer, we must reach out in Christian love until all have heard. Partnering with the Islamic faith should be undertaken with the realization that they are as lost as unbelievers. Plant the seeds of faith. Do not be afraid to proclaim Jesus as Lord and Savior. God wants all His children to dwell with Him through eternity. Treating Islam as another valid path to God only puts your neighbor at odds with Him.

Jesus said, “Furthermore, the Father judges no one, but has assigned all judgment to the Son, so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life. Truly, truly, I tell you, the hour is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted the Son to have life in Himself. And He has given Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.” John 5:22-27

Perhaps the people have finally seen through the lies of the evil one. With the election of Donald Trump, begins a rejection of democrat policies that have been leading this nation down the wide path that leads to destruction. The left’s attempt to force feed insane, woke policies failed as they tried to take too big of a bite of the apple, and the people have decided a change in course was necessary. Just as many of our mainline denominations have substituted social justice in place of Jesus, the democrat party has strayed far from God. When the evil one speaks, they listen and incorporate it into their party platform. As evidence of the left’s rejection of God, when someone shouted “Jesus is Lord” at a Harris/Walz campaign event in Wisconsin, Kamala Harris betrayed her true nature when she told him he was at the wrong place. Additionally, she was the first Presidential candidate to skip the Catholic Al Smith dinner in New York in almost 40 years.

We the people have elected a Republican President and majorities in Congress. This new administration brings traditional values that respect the sanctity of life, follow God, value parental rights, uphold the rule of law, and oppose the mutilation of children. With the mandate of the people, they have been given the authority to roll back the immoral policies that have been blindly accepted by far too many. They have the power to end this nation’s wandering in the wilderness, held captive to a leftist ideology that has unduly influenced society. Now comes the hard part; Having the will to heal the divisions and to bring this nation back from the abyss by passing legislation that codifies a return to Judeo/Christian values. Pray for our elected representatives to have the courage to stand strong for the Lord.

Even though those on the left have earned the ire of many Americans and warrant retribution for the evil they have sown, that is not what our Lord and Savior would have us do. Jesus said, “But to those of you who will listen, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone takes your cloak, do not withhold your tunic as well. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what is yours, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Yeah. Loving that neighbor with the pink hair and nose ring that screams that she hates you and any other hateful, homophobic, transphobic Christian that wants to take away her bodily autonomy. Quite the ask you say?

Without forgiveness, there is no reconciliation. Without grace and mercy, there is no way to bridge that divide. Without extending that hand of friendship, there is no opportunity for healing. If God can forgive someone as wholly imperfect as I, we should be able to be the first to try to mend fences. Try it. Harboring a grudge is giving the evil one a foothold in your soul and elicits nothing but negative emotions. It becomes difficult to spew hate at a person who reaches out in love. Instead of being argumentative, try listening and offering non-judgmental instruction. It is easy to build a wall when you believe that you are in the right and you are certain that the other person is wrong. Jesus called us to make disciples of all nations. Do you want to be an impediment to someone searching for themselves when what they need is a right relationship with our Lord and Savior?

God loves all of His children unconditionally and more than we could ever fully understand. Even that crazed leftist college student that you believe lacks any common sense. There are always opportunities to profess your love of Christ to the lost. Reach out with the love of Christ. That is what this nation needs to heal. Policy decisions are in good hands now. Do not fan the flames of division by gloating. Know that God’s hand was present in our nation to give us a chance to right many wrongs and begin a revival in the United States. Will you be the hands and feet of Christ or will you abandon your responsibility to reach the lost to find Him?

Truth matters?

In the past a dishonest merchant would “tip the scales” to cheat his clients and gain financial advantage. Utilizing deliberately inaccurate scales, adding additional weight, distracting the purchaser, or anything that would swing the transaction in their favor were some of the tactics employed. These disreputable merchants, once found out, were reviled, and were forced out of the area, if they were not jailed. Once lost, trust is not easily regained. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. There were no second chances for the corrupt. Liars and cheats have no place in a civil society.

When the 60’s anarchists realized that using violence to overthrow the government was failing, they decided to adopt Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. They hatched a scheme to infiltrate academia, journalism, and government. In doing so, they placed themselves in positions to indoctrinate young minds in the universities, report their chosen narrative on the various media platforms, and expand their influence through the deep state by directing legislation favorable to their objectives and working to elect like-minded or malleable individuals to office. When the ends justify the means, there is nothing too extreme for these radicals. And their strategy has been highly successful.

Marxist professors have done an excellent job imparting their leftist ideology to generations of their students, creating younger versions of themselves. University students have embraced the pro-Palestine movement and parrot the leftist slogans that have led to the resurgence of antisemitism. The absurdity of supporting an avowed enemy of Israel and the United States is staggering. They Ignore the deliberate attack of Israeli civilians on October 7^th, 2023 and the videotaped gleeful butchering, raping, and hostage taking, yet they denounce Israel’s legitimate defense, demonstrating an utter lack of understanding moral equivalency. To safeguard Israeli citizens from future attacks, Hamas must be eradicated. These students, useful tools for the left, have been taught to hate their country, hate their “whiteness,” disrespect authority, and support all manner of radical ideology.

The legacy media abandons their responsibility to objectively report the news and instead becomes an echo chamber, amplifying talking points of the democrat party. Even though the bias is readily apparent, those so blinded by political fealty cheer on “fake news” as it favors their personal beliefs. Prejudicial application of the law is acceptable to the left if it is directed at political enemies. The constant drumbeat against Christianity, gender bias, “white privilege,” and conservatism, particularly to Donald Trump, has unduly influenced the weak-minded. When the Biden/Harris administration is exposed for colluding with Big Tech to control the narratives around COVID, election fraud, and to suppress information that disproves otherwise, the media ignores and attempts to debunk the story.

Leftists and their willing accomplices denounce those in which they disagree as enemies This is more than disturbing. Far too many have been unduly influenced to the point that they border on the neurotic. Mainstream media is arguably culpable for the attempted assassination of Donald Trump (Remember that? The media has apparently forgotten.) by continually promoting a false and overtly divisive narrative that accuses Trump as an existential threat to democracy. Democracy is dying before our very eyes in the darkness of an untrustworthy and blatantly biased media.

The Deep State is very real and extremely influential in our government. Its tentacles reach deep within the inner workings of the Federal government. And it protects its status with a vengeance. Outsiders are not welcome and if elected are controlled by obstruction and obfuscation. There is good reason that government continues to expand and take more tax dollars to feed their insatiable spending that has the US more than $34Trillion in debt. Rampant spending allows the Deep State and their democrat allies to continue to add layer upon layer of taxes, fees, and regulations on the taxpayer. Electing Trump in 2016 was just a speed bump for the bureaucracy that was able to stymie much of his agenda, with help from the elected ruling class on both sides of the aisle. Handing over the reins to Kamala will lead us in the wrong direction. The godless, anti-life, pro-Hamas, pro child mutilation, government censorship, and the military industrial complex that is the Deep State will continue to balloon out of control.

The choice for Christians could not be clearer. Democrats embrace radical ideology that does not represent this nation. Donald Trump is not perfect, but only one person in history was. Currently we are at a tipping point. Another four years with a democrat in the White House and control of Congress will likely be the death knell of this nation. We must elect our representatives that uphold the values we hold dear. It is clear that democrats have not earned our trust and there are enough Republicans that are in this for themselves, but a conservative majority is a far better option. Cleaning house will take some time, but with Republican leadership it can begin. We need to roll back the insanity that is the left and return to normalcy. it is up to each of us to ensure that happens.

 To the victors…

The recent decision by the four liberal members of the Wisconsin Supreme Court to rule that the redistricting maps drawn by the State Legislature fails on its face. The municipal “islands” that were found to be acceptable by three of the liberal justices in 2020, somehow became unacceptable to those same Justices as they effectively overruled themselves. The Wisconsin State Constitution gives authority to the Legislature to redraw the legislative maps after the United States census is completed each decade. This authority falls to the majority elected by the citizens of Wisconsin. Each member of the State Assembly and Senate is elected by the citizens of their District.

In 2001, Democrats held an 18-15 majority in the State Senate and Republicans held a 54-45 majority in the Assembly. Legislative maps were crafted by the divided legislature and signed by Republican Governor Tommy Thompson. After the 2010 census, the Republicans were elected to majorities in both houses and Governor. For the first time, Republicans were given the authority to redraw legislative districts and have them approved by a Republican Governor. Of course, Democrats claimed that the Republicans gerrymandered to their advantage. The crafters of our State’s Constitution were intentional in their decision to rest the power of redrawing legislative district lines by the Legislature. The people’s mandate in electing the majority party was to be rewarded and their will accomplished when their chosen legislators are given “the keys to the car.” There is no such thing as “fair maps” that are equally divided by political affiliation, nor was it ever intended to be. Whichever party controls the redrawing, the other party cries foul! “They are creating maps that benefit themselves.” No kidding. If you want more authority, convince more people to vote for you. To the victors go the spoils.

Wisconsin State law has two criteria for redrawing legislative maps; They must be of substantially equal population and not discriminate based on race. Traditional redistricting principles, however, have been used by numerous states. Wisconsin uses three; District boundaries be as compact as practical, contiguous and preserve political subdivisions. Compactness and contiguity are self-explanatory. Political subdivisions are not defined as communities that tend to vote for one political party, as the Court implies. From the Wisconsin Legislative Reference Bureau report on redistricting in Wisconsin 2020;

 “Respecting the unity of political subdivisions means drawing district boundaries in such a way as to avoid crossing existing political boundaries. This principle both simplifies the administration of elections and helps to clearly identify for voters the specific district in which they live. In many ways this principle goes hand in hand with the effort to preserve communities of interest. However, strictly adhering to the boundaries of political subdivisions in a redistricting plan often makes it more difficult to satisfy equal population requirements. Consequently, this principle, while by no means obsolete, was followed much more meticulously in Wisconsin, and elsewhere, before the advent of one person, one vote.

In Wisconsin, assembly districts must “be bounded by county, precinct, town or ward lines.” Additionally, county supervisory districts must generally consist of whole wards or municipalities, city aldermanic districts must consist of whole wards, and wards may not cross municipal or county lines.

Notice that political party preference is not a traditional redistricting principle. Some States use the “competitive” principle to not advantage one political party by creating “safe” districts for either party. Another principle is to not create boundaries that move incumbents into the same district, as did the map presented by Governor Evers. Neither of these traditional redistricting principles are used in Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Legislature is the sole authority to redraw legislative maps and the Governor has the authority to veto any map deemed unsatisfactory. If vetoed, the Legislature needs to either override the veto or redraw maps that the Governor will approve. The Wisconsin State Supreme Court is usurping the Constitutional authority of the legislature to redraw the maps, especially if those maps were the same maps previously upheld by the Wisconsin Supreme Court just over a year ago. We, the people, are being denied by a body that is usurping the authority of our elected representatives. The decision by the four liberal Justices to discard the previously approved maps is a threat to democracy and irrevocably harms the citizens of this great State. The Legislature enacts laws, and the Supreme Court rules on those laws’ constitutionality. They do not have the authority to remake laws to their liking.

Humans were created by a perfect God. Unfortunately, humans are far from that perfection. God created a paradise for Adam and Eve to live and walk with Him for eternity. God gave them full autonomy in the garden with only one single prohibition, to not eat the fruit of the tree of life. But Adam and Eve disobeyed, leading to the fall. Ever since that fall, humans have engaged in all manner of depravity. Creation was once perfect and humans defiled it, and to this day we continue to corrupt our world with our ever-increasing immorality. Money, power, and sex is what drive far too many of us human beings, especially those who rise to positions of authority. The framers of this once great nation created a Constitutional Republic ruled by “We the people,” not by royals who ruled by fiat. Today, “public servants” are far too concerned with their self-interests, their benefactors, and advancing their personal agendas, while disregarding the needs of their constituents. The “Swamp,” which consists of lobbyists, Deep State bureaucrats, and corporate interests is pervasive. Elected politicians enrich themselves and their families when they toe the company line and do as they are told.

Do you really think that the Bidens are the only politicians that are or have engaged in unethical and illegal schemes? Corruption by our “leaders” is so pervasive and so many, elected and unelected, are so deeply involved, that should their illicit activities be brought to light, many would be facing jail time. (see Senator Robert Menendez D-NJ) There is good reason that anytime an outsider is elected, every effort is made to turn them to the dark side. Everyone must be on the same page for this to work. Should those efforts fail to convince, the swamp mobilizes and attacks, using the media and deep state to delegitimize with lies and false accusations. (see Representatives Madison Cawthorn R-NC, George Santos R-NY, and any other representative shining a light on the darkness of the swamp) There is good reason that Democrats and Republicans have employed every tool to prevent Donald Trump from regaining the White House. Should he return to the Oval Office, he would begin to expose the rot in our government. Heads would roll. The gravy train is running much too smoothly for it to be run off the rails by a President who already has accumulated more than enough wealth, leaving him impervious to the lure of easy money. In fact, President Trump saw his net worth decrease by more than $I billion during his term. I’m sorry, but if you want a kinder and gentler President, you will only get what you deserve, another swamp dweller with more of the same.

Whistleblower laws were enacted to protect those who expose corruption in government, yet Democrats in Congress attempt to discredit them and partisan bureaucrats persecute them. Two separate impeachment hearings and trials take place targeting President Trump, bypassing any impeachment inquiry to discover all facts. While neither impeachment attempts were later found to have any credibility, the damage was done. president Biden’s son, Hunter, and brother, James, spearhead a convoluted influence-peddling scheme. Nothing to see here according to the Democrats and an impeachment inquiry is partisanship run amok. Evidence from the January 6^th committee is destroyed, even though a myriad of federal laws are broken. Cue the crickets from the mainstream media. Hunter Biden defies a Congressional subpoena, abetted by Representative Eric Swalwell, D-CA and Democrats cheer. Circle the wagons and deflect blame is the Democrat way. Dick Durbin (D-IL) refuses to release the names of those who took the “Lolita Express” to Jeffrey Epstein’s Island paradise. Gotta protect their own you know. Loose lips will sink ships and far too many of your elected officials have engaged in inappropriate behavior. As each misdeed is exposed, the risk is that more and more will be exposed for the liars and cheats that they are.

Serving on the Washington County, WI Board of Supervisors for ten years, the last four as Chairman, I know from where I speak. There are too few, even in local government, that gain office without a personal agenda. There are too few who retain the humility that facilitated their election victories. There are too few that do not look to use their “power” to their advantage. Human nature far too often rears its ugly head and those public servants begin to think that they are better than the great unwashed masses they are called to represent. If our government continues on this path, we are doomed to ruin. Unengaged citizens who mindlessly vote “D” or “R” are exactly what the deep state depends upon. Uninformed voters and those citizens who fail to cast their ballots signal that they are willing to let the swamp do as they please. Apathy breeds corruption, and far too many of us are satisfied with ceding authority to those who exploit our trust and use authority to their own benefit. It’s always easier to stand by idly and let others do the heavy lifting. After all, we are all much too busy with our own lives. Your nation is falling down the rat hole and if you think protecting your quality of life in a free and fair country is too much to ask, you will get what you deserve.

Rules of Engagement

Man on the street interviews highlight just how out of touch many in our nation have become. Questions that once were common knowledge are often fumbled by our next generation of leaders. But they can recite verbatim from social media influencer’s videos. Decisions driven by some “Tic Tok’ video publisher’s unhinged rantings without possessing the ability to properly filter out the noise, is a recipe for disaster. This is what you get when teaching life skills become secondary to preaching CRT and striving for equity of outcome. In just a few short years, woke education policies have created a generation that has no clue.

Political ideology drives individuals to vilify those in which they disagree. Far too many on all sides of the political spectrum fall prey to this insidious behavior, especially on social media. Civil dialogue has become a lost art. In a head long rush to embrace “wokeness,” society has elevated selfishness to the preeminent position in society. We are cautioned to live in this world without becoming overcome by it but the world is clearly winning. Compassion has been twisted into a means of assuaging those who willfully choose to reject common decency and morality.  Tolerance is manipulated to reject common sense and allow abhorrent behavior to be normalized. Acceptance has been corrupted to foster disregard of accepted societal norms. Equity of outcome replaces equality of opportunity and the whole of society suffers in this misguided attempt to elevate those perceived to be marginalized by society.

One should always question “new things” and transformational changes within society. Failure to do so will facilitate the default to our innate human selfishness. Awareness of our ill-advised proclivities will help to strive toward selflessness and service to our neighbors. In order to help make this world a better place, we often must deny our needs in order to serve others. This world was never intended to revolve around any single human being in order to fulfill their wants and desires. Affirmation of those trapped within their selfishness only rewards ill-advised conduct. There is a reason that laws and rules exist. Without them, humanity regresses into human animals, only concerned with their own needs and desires. When identity or ideology supersedes empathy and concern for fellow human beings, we become ego-driven, self-centered malevolent beings that are antithetical to the ideal human condition.

Those that believe that it is paramount to properly love their neighbor by affirming behavior that is contrary to science and accepted societal norms, harms not only society but harms the mental health and well-being of the subject of that misguided love. When principles of conduct become vague and undefined, such as acquiescing to the theory that whatever is your reality is truth, the more unorthodox the standard of conduct becomes. Our society is in a free fall away from reality. Leftists seek to destroy the fabric of this nation and remake it into a socialist, authoritarian state and many are fooled into supporting this disturbing conspiracy.

The fears of a nation were manipulated and used to control this nation as it faced the uncertainty of a novel coronavirus pandemic that was far less lethal than our government and public health officials asserted. Fear is used to stoke hatred and to destroy those who would challenge this dangerous “woke” ideology that has replaced common sense. Fear enables individuals to do whatever it takes to protect their position and power. But fear is a liar. Reason and truth must be restored to overcome fear, and that truth is that we are all brothers and sisters with God as our Father. Fear divides us against one another. The common enemy is clear for those who choose to see. Government has been weaponized against “we the people,” and too many cheer it on.

Biden promised a return to normalcy and to unite the nation. His rhetoric has further divided this nation. His policies are destroying our economy, ended our energy independence, acquiesced to Russia's aggression, relinquished our role in the world to China and is destroying the dollar as the primary currency of trade. It is time to deny ourselves and identities as Democrat or Republican. It is time that we elect those who choose to serve us, rather than rule us. It is time to roll back the insanity that has overcome our nation. We are one nation under God and its high time we act that way.

Time to wake up

The President of the United States warned that electing Republicans would kill democracy. This was the battle cry of the Democrat party and their party spokespersons in the media. Republicans will end women’s access to reproductive health care and abolish all abortions. Republicans will end Social Security and Medicare. Republicans will pollute your water and kill the planet. Republicans will disenfranchise minorities by taking away their right to vote. The only people to accept these premises are those intellectually inept and those so ideologically driven that they will do whatever it takes for their side to win. Democrats have become proficient at bending and using the voting rules to their advantage. Republicans have dropped the ball and acquiesced to the Democrats abusing the system. The aligning of these stars will be the primary reason for the death of our Constitutional Republic.

Inept leadership by the Republican party has allowed the manipulation of voting laws, rules, and procedures to the advantage of the opposing political party. Why? The ruling class in Washington DC is all in on enriching themselves at the taxpayer’s expense. How do so many that go to DC as paupers leave office as millionaires? How is it that the families of those elected Representatives end up benefiting financially? Who holds the powerful accountable? It certainly is not the mainstream media. The Fourth Estate is content to be a cheerleader for the Democrat party and foe to all things conservative. Far too many Americans are glued to CNN and their ilk, allowing those pundits to form their opinions for them. We are our own worst enemies at times, or perhaps we are becoming too intellectually lazy to think for ourselves.

The “Big Lie” is shouted from the mountaintops any time 2020 voting irregularities are discussed. Mainstream media quickly pivots to conspiracy theories, such as, “Dominion” voting machines were manipulated by foreign powers, delegitimizing any valid occurrences. In 2020 voting deputies were not allowed to assist nursing home residents fill out ballots and to make certain that those residents had the cognitive ability to properly comprehend their actions. In Wisconsin alone, over 60,000 seniors reside in senior living communities, while almost 100% of those seniors filled out and returned ballots. Drop boxes, instituted throughout the battleground states due to COVID, collected hundreds of thousands of ballots. These are but two of the violations of election law that occurred in 2020. Each of those ballots were cast in violation of State law, perhaps turning the tide in the battle for the White House and Senate.

Ballot harvesting and ballot drop boxes are prohibited by State law in Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, all battleground states. TrueTheVote used geo-tracking of cell phones to identify “mules” that went from non-profits and Democrat offices to numerous ballot drop boxes, for numerous days during early voting, in all of the battleground states. This is the same technology that has been used to track and identify criminals that were in the area of a crime in order to place the suspect at the time and scene of a crime. But, according to the mainstream media, this technology is unreliable, although it is admissible in court as corroborating evidence.

Democrats are not interested in earning your vote. They aren’t interested in convincing the electorate that their policies are better for Americans. They aren’t interested in nominating the best and brightest candidates. Democrats are interested in collecting the most ballots with circles filled in for Democrat candidates. Votes are not what win elections, he who collects the most ballots for their side wins. Game the system efficiently and you won’t need to convince anyone that your candidates or policies are better.

Voting is not only a right; it is a great responsibility. Voting should not be easy. Vote totals should not be affected by overzealous partisans that pervert the law for their own gain. If you are not engaged, if you don’t think voting is important, if you don’t take your civic responsibility seriously, the voting process should not be made effortless for you. Laws are enacted for a reason. Without laws, we devolve into anarchy, with everyone for themselves. If one truly wants to end democracy, allow the Democrats to continue to turn our elections into a mockery. If we continue on this trajectory, our Constitutional Republic will be lost. Without free and fair elections, democracy will die.

We have a common adversary.

Apparently, much confusion reigns within the party of identity politics. You would think that when the collective pigeon holes each individual into distinctive blocs, they would understand the distinguishing traits each individual group possesses. Take what constitutes the Left for instance. The Left does not espouse the values inherent in those who identify as liberal. The Left does not share the values of the Democrat party. The Left looks to replace free enterprise with socialism. The Left is antithetic to the Constitution of the United States. The majority of those who belong to the party of John Kennedy and/or embrace liberalism, leftism is as far from their values as are those embraced by the extreme right. In fact, leftism has much more in common with the extreme right than anything that Democrats believe in and cherish. Unfortunately, the leadership of the Democrat party is embracing the ideals of Leftism, apparently convinced that it is a winning strategy. What exactly are the tenets of leftism?

On America – the US is an inherently, systemically racist country founded illegitimately by slave owners. Equality of opportunity needs to be replaced with equitable outcomes.

On borders – open borders with unlimited immigration, particularly to persons of color in order to increase the minority population.

On race – a return to segregation, dividing by race. Universities have established black only dormitories and graduations. Soon to return, black only and white only drinking fountains. In Critical Race Theory, persons of color are considered oppressed by a system that unfairly rewards whites.

On gender – there is an infinite number of genders and children should be able to make their own decisions on their chosen gender, including beginning medical treatments to transition to another gender, without parental notification. Men that identify as female can participate in women’s sports. What is your chosen pronoun?

On free speech – any speech considered inappropriate to the tenets of Leftism are to be considered hate speech and to be shouted down and suppressed. There is no longer a free exchange of ideas or any debate allowed on college campuses.

On capitalism and the free market – capitalism must be destroyed and replaced with socialism, which is actually a guiding principle of the Black Lives Matter movement.

On religion – all must kneel at the altar of the State. Religion is to be banned.

If you happen to embrace these ideals, you may just be a Leftist. If you do not, it is time to wake up!

If more of the members of the Democrat party realized the direction that their party is headed, they would reject it and advocate for change in their leadership. Conservatives and Republicans are not the enemy. Both Democrats/liberals and Republicans/conservatives should have the same common goal, facilitating the means to improve the lives of those they represent. Our differences have always been about the methods and direction taken to achieve those goals. One party favors more government intervention and one party prefers giving citizens the means to forge their own path. We used to end up in the same place, reaching common ground and compromising when necessary. This is becoming increasingly rare, as the parties engage in more finger pointing than actual real debate.

Another issue accelerating division in our nation is the instant gratification our evolving society affords. Social media drives opinions with censorship, misinformation and down and out falsehoods. It has become increasingly difficult to find the truth. It has become all too easy to simply consume that which upholds one’s opinion, siloed within group-think, and ignore anything that could potentially invalidate one’s chosen opinion. If we disagree, so be it. Let’s work to resolve our differences. The Left should be our shared enemy, not each other. As Democrats/liberals and Republicans/conservatives we need to unite to fight the Left, as it’s stated goal is to fundamentally transform this nation into something it was never intended to be. America has its’ warts and blemishes. Even with all of our successes, we have failed our citizens far too often. But, we are all Americans. We all share the same common ground. We need to work together to protect our country from those who would destroy it and to keep our nation as that shining beacon on a hill.

Seriously....

I was reading a FaceBook post where a democrat/liberal/leftist commented about how much good the democrats have done for our great nation. (I added the part about “for our great nation”) Her diatribe just bolstered the arguments that public schools have been indoctrinating their students for years with revisionist history. Republican bad, democrat good. Conservative bad, liberal good. Free market capitalism bad, socialism good. If history was actually taught appropriately and honestly, just think about how well we could all get along. Anyway, here are the counterpoints to her misguided comments that credited democrats with everything from creating the cure for cancer (just kidding!) to inventing the internet (for real). This is a pretty extensive list, but to properly understand just how out of touch with reality people that vote “d” are, this is worth the read.

• Social Security – FDR’s unfunded Ponzi scheme that the democrats have used to fund their never ending social programs instead of actually funding the program. Going into insolvency in 2032.

• Medicare – Lyndon Johnson’s expansion of the welfare state

• Medicaid – Lyndon Johnson’s program that reimburses pennies on the dollar, which has led to the increasing cost of healthcare and insurance and the collapse of nursing homes nationwide.

• Healthcare reform – The ACA is such an utter failure, so much so that the democrats already want to change it to single payer, Medicare for all or whatever is the name du jour today. Puuu-leeze.

• FDA began on Theodore Roosevelt’s watch, a Republican.

• The New Deal – FDR’s foray into socialism. Coming out of the Great Depression, FDR spent more than the GDP on programs that paid for infrastructure repair and numerous other employment and projects at taxpayer expense. This administration begat the entitlement culture that so permeates our society.

• Great Society – Lyndon Johnson’s expansion of FDR’s social programs to ensure the continuing segregation of African Americans into the inner city, giving them just enough money to live with a few creature comforts and keep them voting for democrats that only want their vote to maintain power.

• Peace Corps – Good program serving those in need. President Kennedy signed Executive order 10924 to create the program.

• Vista, which was expanded by President Clinton in 1993 as AmeriCorps. Six years ago, USA Today called “AmeriCorps a wasteful flop” saying many members are serving as recess referees. The article also asked the question, do we really need playground monitors? In 2018 a CBS News investigation revealed that AmeriCorps programs, are rife with sexual misconduct and failed to meet federal standards and requirements.

• The Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964 with more than 50% of the democrats in Congress voting against it.

• Women’s right to vote or the 19th Amendment - Between January 1918 and June 1919, the House and Senate voted on the federal amendment five times. Each vote was extremely close and southern democrats continued to oppose giving women the vote.

• Motor Voter – You’ve got to be kidding, a democrat scheme to allow more fraudulent voting, including issuing driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants is a positive for who?

• Equal Rights – The Equal Rights amendment has not yet garnered ratification by enough states to be enacted into law.

• Voting Rights Act – Passed into law in 1965 with a 77-19 vote in the Senate, with 16 democrat southern state Senators voting no and all but 2 Republicans voting to approve.

• Equal Pay Act – Signed into law by President Kennedy in 1963. In 2020, women make only $0.81 for every dollar a man makes. How’s that working for ‘ya?

• Consumer protection – This includes a number of different agencies created under numerous administrations, both democrat and Republican.

• Funding for science, Medical and engineering research, space exploration, NSF and NIH - Wow where do I begin. Spending on the above programs increased $4.95billion in 2018. How does that fit the narrative that the Trump administration has gutted those programs.

• Support for public education, HeadStart school lunch and breakfast programs - As public school unions support democrats by the tune of over $30 million annually, democrats do support any and all programs that the teacher’s unions want. (See common core and the steady decline in our student’s scores as compared to the rest of the world.) Head Start was a program that began with Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society initiative.

• NLRB, 40 hour work week, overtime and unemployment compensation – Yep, all democrat programs signed into law by FDR.

• EPA, National Parks, and increased wilderness areas, aka federally owned lands – Richard Nixon, a Republican, signed an executive order creating The EPA. Theodore Roosevelt, a Republican, made conservation a top priority and established many new national parks, forests and monuments intended to preserve the nation's natural resources.

• Endangered species act and FEMA – The Endangered Species Act was signed into law by Richard Nixon, a Republican. FEMA was created by and executive order by Jimmy Carter, a democrat. I guess not everything Carter did was a disaster, no pun intended.

• GI bill, UN, NATO, Marshall Plan – Check, all democrat policies.

• Vehicle safety requirements and emission standards – Sorry, the Clean Air Act was signed into law by George HW Bush. Federal vehicle safety requirements were instituted on Lyndon Johnson’s watch.

• TVA, federal loan program, PBS, NPR and finally, the democrats are responsible for the internet – TVA-FDR, federal loan program aka FFEL, Federal Family Education loan, began issuing loans in 1965, Lyndon Johnson, until it ended in 2010. PBS-1970, Nixon. NPR-1971 Nixon. And now the internet-To credit the creation or even the inspiration for the creation of the internet is ludicrous on it’s face. Free enterprise and the free market created the internet and capitalism encouraged it’s growth. To even attempt to credit democrats for the internet is beyond the pale.

So, there you have it. I am certain that many of our “friends” on the other side of the aisle believe, in some form or another, exactly as the author of those “factoids about democrats” believes. Many democrat policies and programs are littered with unintended consequences and even more are deliberately and insidiously proposed with an expected outcome that benefits their base and benefactors. Be careful what you wish for when deciding to give credit for some of the legislation passed by democrats that accomplishes little or nothing for the majority of the people that they are charged to represent.

Seeds of Discontent

In 1965, the United Nations passed Resolution #2131, entitled the “Declaration on the Inadmissibility of Intervention in the Domestic Affairs of States and the Protection of their Independence and Sovereignty”. Unfortunately, like most UN Resolutions, this has largely been ignored by many countries. Sovereign nations have used various methods to interfere with rival countries. In 2015, the United States funneled $350,000 to the “One Voice Movement” in an effort to support Benjamin Netanyahu’s opponent. Much ado has been made of Russian interference with the 2016 Presidential election. Russia used various means to cause dissent and plant misinformation, including using phishing attacks and other cyber probes. One of the phishing attacks produced a plethora of information, as Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta fell victim to the scam and exposed over 60,000 emails that eventually Wiki-Leaks released publicly. Facebook and Twitter were used by Russians posing as Americans and by posting misleading articles and links. Russia planted the seeds of discontent; the left sowed it, watered it, and produced a full crop of non-confidence in the legitimacy of our elections. The Russians got exactly what they were attempting to do, with the “Useful Idiots” of the democrat party doing most of the dirty work for them.

Members of Congress declare this oath upon taking office, "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God." Democrats, in their fervor of hatred towards any and everything conservative, have taken up the mantel of leftism and socialism. One of the ideas and beliefs of the democrat platform is “principled leadership”. I wonder if Nancy Pelosi was acting with principled leadership when she tore up the President’s State of the Union Address. I wonder if Senator Chuck Schumer was acting with principled leadership when he stood on the steps of the Supreme Court and threatened two sitting Justices if they vote in a manner that he disagrees with. I wonder if other democrats are acting with principled leadership when they falsely accuse President Trump of being a clear and present danger to civil society and if left unchecked will undermine democracy and destroy our nation. These hyperbolic statements are made by long time, career politicians that have caused, not resolved far too many of the issues facing this nation. Democrats are not living up to their oath to support and defend the Constitution and they also fail to abide by their own stated platform.

The branch of the democrat party, also known as the mainstream media, pushes the narrative that the Corona virus, COVID-19, will be the next Black Plague, killing all in its’ path. The democrat party, no longer the loyal opposition, uses their platform to stoke even more fear by accusing the administration of failing to properly protect the citizens. Together, and I accuse them of colluding to push this narrative, they are in the process of driving our economy into a recession. You see, getting back and maintaining their power is the utmost goal of this depraved political party. They will bulldoze anyone in their way and any and all tactics are utilized to achieve their goals, even if it destroys the US economy. As the ideals of the left are incorporated into the democrat machine, they no longer represent the citizens they have sworn to serve. They simply serve their own lust for power. The left will strive to level the playing field, driving everyone but themselves down into the misery of government control of their lives, meting out what they deem appropriate, taking the decision making away from you.

There cannot be a more clear distinction between the democrats and Republicans. Democrats want to control the decisions that the citizens should be making for themselves. The Republicans want to give the citizens the means necessary to succeed or fail of their own volition. As the left begins to dominate the democrat party, their stated goals no longer coincide with the vast majority of what the populace requires or desires. It is time to relegate the democrat party to where they belong, a minority party that has no influence on our government. It is time to elect those that serve our nation, not themselves. It is time to identify candidates with Christian values to properly represent your values and not Saul Alinsky’s.
