Our friends, Canada and Mexico, are dishonest in trade.

Globalization of trade should be free and clear of any encumbrances or unfair practices. When a nation chooses to create a trade imbalance intended to benefit their economy while punishing another nation, it is a violation of the tenets of free trade. Protectionism is the primary reason that nations tip the scales in their favor. Many of our “friends” have taken advantage of the United States’ largesse and have a considerable trade imbalance with the US. Much of the blame for the large trade deficit with most of the world, comes right back to us. The US incentivized developing nations so that those countries would use those additional funds to energize their economies, enabling them to purchase more American goods. This strategy has backfired, spectacularly.

Japan instituted tariffs on many American made products, in particular, tariffs on Harley Davidson products make it next to impossible to import to Japan. China refuses to do business with American companies unless they move some of their manufacturing to China, where products are reverse engineered and intellectual property stolen. Then those products are manufactured at other Chinese factories, sometimes using slave labor, ship them around the world, and undersell the American made products. These types of practices, which are dishonest and should be illegal on the global market, cost American jobs and some American companies have lost enough market share that they had to close their businesses.

Japan and China are not alone making it difficult to market American products. It has become a worldwide industry to sell “knock off” products and to routinely disadvantage American companies and products. The US took little to no action against these unfair practices until President Trump decided to level the playing field by levying reciprocal tariffs on those nations placing impediments to free trade with us. Unfortunately, the democrat party has been using the legal system, filing lawsuits in partisan courts to undercut the President’s authority. Democrats would rather American industries and workers suffer than allow President Trump to utilize tariffs as a tool to convince other nations to play fairly in trade.

The trade agreement (USMCA) with our northern and southern neighbors is regularly violated, or worked around, to Mexico’s and Canada’s advantage and to our detriment. Back door deals with China for cheap steel and aluminum, that both Canada and Mexico use in the manufacturing of automotive parts, undercut American companies. This allows China to violate fair trade practices and evade any sanctions. It is not enough for both Canada and Mexico to have trade surpluses of over $50Billion annually. Canada is now aligning with the United States’ and the western world’s chief adversary, China. Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney has been very disingenuous with recent trade negotiations with the US, mischaracterizing negotiations and drumming up animosity among the Canadian people. Worse, democrat Governors of states that are trade partners with Canada are aligning themselves with Canada instead of supporting the interests of the US. This is more typical democrat hypocrisy, that borders on treason.

Along with the theocratic, murderous regime in Iran, some of our friends believe weakening the President, weakens the US position, allowing them an opportunity to use that to their advantage. Democrats also believe that by weakening the US position to harm President Trump and Republicans will enable them to return to power. The plight of the American people means nothing to the democrats. You are merely pawns that only matter when you vote for them and are to be disregarded until the next election. As for all of us knuckle-dragging conservatives, so much the better if we are punished, politically, socially, and economically.

Affordability is the rallying cry from the democrats, conveniently forgetting that the reckless spending by the Biden administration drove up inflation by over 21% and added over $8 Trillion to the National Debt. Those prices that have exponentially increased for everything from apples to zucchini were substantially affected by the reckless spending of democrats. Now they blame President Trump. Yes, the price of gas is up, partly because of the Iran conflict, but the rest of the unaffordability problem is a direct result of democrat policies. Allow them to regain power and we just may become history. Not in a good way, more like all the other failed nations that destroyed themselves.

We have a real choice. Be angry that gas prices are too high and vote for the democrat “saviors,” or understand that prices at the pump will return to normal once Iran and its’ proxies are defeated. Should democrats regain power, they will appease Iran and the world will continue to be held hostage by a bunch of religious lunatics. Iran WILL then be able to possess a nuclear weapon that they would not hesitate to use. Stay the course and the majority of our society will continue to uphold the rule of law, support those who would keep our nation safe, respect all life, and reject the lunacy that is the left. It’s your call.

Jaxson Dart, the starting quarterback for the New York Giants, made the fatal mistake of introducing the President of the United States, Donald Trump at a rally for Republican Mike Lawlar in New York. This set off a firestorm of athletes and celebrities condemning him for his “lack of judgment.” These useful idiots that could not articulate a valid reason for their Trump Derangement Syndrome, is prima facie evidence of just how easily they have been manipulated by mainstream media and democrat party talking points. Apparently, to these ill-informed morons, anything conservative is to be mocked and demeaned. To them, only democrats and great thinkers like Kamala Harris are to be celebrated and supported.

The WNBA, a women’s basketball league that is finally becoming semi-popular because of the popularity of Caitlin Clark. The rest of the league, a bunch of semi-athletic women, are so jealous of Clark’s skillset and notoriety, that there is evidence that some players deliberately attempt to cause her injury. One of their players, Briana Turner, speaks out against the WNBA’s decision to wear “USA 250” on the uniforms during their All-Star weekend because she is ashamed of America’s history of slavery and women’s suffrage. Lefties can not only be useful idiots, many of them are also misinformed ingrates.

In their TDS brain fog, leftists and virtue signaling liberals parrot easily debunked accusations against President Trump. Anyone who presents facts that utterly destroy their false narratives are shouted down or the smug, misguided leftist refuses to engage and walks away. The democrat party is the gravest threat to our Constitutional Republic as they have aligned themselves with leftist ideology. The democrat party champions whatever they believe helps them obtain and maintain power, even if it means falling in league with America hating cabals. Leftists want nothing less than the destruction of this nation and the freedoms it affords its citizens.

On June 16^th, 2026, Vice President JD Vance appeared on “The View.” Co-host Whoopi Goldberg pressed Vance to answer for her assertion that the Trump administration unfairly targeted persons of color and removed “all kinds of black heroes” from museums and places of honor. Vance asked her to provide specifics so that he could properly address them. Goldberg unsurprisingly, could not cite a single specific instance. Quick, cut to commercial as she stuttered and stammered in her failure to respond. This is a tried and successful strategy for leftists. Attack using generalizations that superficially support your narrative, since any specifics can be easily discredited as lacking merit. The legacy media will back you up while nodding approvingly. They are only interested in follow-up and “gotcha” questions for conservatives, not challenging the obvious lies spewed by democrats and their allies.

Acquiesce to the left and watch our nation fall. Do nothing and the left will destroy our way of life. We the people still have the power to stop this madness. We the people are still in the majority. We the people can use the power of our vote to demand a return to normalcy. If anyone decides to sit out elections and let the left take over this nation, they must wake up before it is too late and it is our responsibility to awaken them!

Obama intentionally fostered divisiveness and society is paying the price.

In a perfect world, the color of one’s skin would not become the primary identifying factor for individuals. In a perfect world, we would view all members of the human race as brothers and sisters. In a perfect world, nations would be united under the common cause of loving one another as Christ loved us. Unfortunately, our world is broken. Our world has neglected the One who created all things and we have become enamored of the things of this world. Our former and continuing divider in chief, Barack Obama, never ceases to use any opportunity to further divide the nation.

Prior to Obama’s 8 years in the White House, we were well on the way to overcoming our sordid past and evolving into a color-blind society. Once our first black president was elected, it was expected that the racial divide would finally become but a distant and faint memory. But Obama chose to shine a spotlight on our differences and revert back into the community agitator that he truly was. He used his bully pulpit to make certain that any and all racial animosity would be resurrected from the dead and positioned as a fundamental issue into the nation’s collective consciousness. “The police officer acted stupidly,” “If I had a son he would look like Trayvon.” For Obama, there were few incidents that race did not play a prominent role.

One of Jesus’ most important commands was forgiveness. Jesus said, “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. / But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours.” Matthew 6:14-15.

Our history is not pretty, but it is no worse than other nations. Slavery and racism were not confined to America. Those detestable acts were part and parcel of developing nations throughout the history of the world. Far too many have lost their lives for far less than what happened during our history. If we dwell upon the past, it can, not only define us, but it can overwhelm us, acting as a cudgel that destroys a right relationship with God.

Karmello Anthony, a 17-year-old African American high school student athlete, decided to enter a tent of an opposing team at a track meet armed with a knife. He was looking for an excuse to use his weapon. When asked to leave the tent by a 17 year old white student athlete Austin Metcalf, Anthony responded, “Touch me and see what happens.” After a brief altercation, Anthony stabbed Metcalf in the chest killing him. Anthony has since been convicted and sentenced to 35 years in prison. The African American community, especially some of the leaders, are outraged, accusing “the white dominated system” of making an example of Anthony because he is black. When you enter hostile territory and arm yourself with a knife, your self-defense strategy is defective.

The Obama administration championed undeserved scrutiny against law enforcement and defended accused persons of color to recompense past grievances. The President of the United States defended those practices and directed his DOJ to enforce them. That has incited racially charged incidents into needless confrontations that often escalate to violence. The implementation of DEI and CRT further bolster this grievance and entitlement culture among minorities. Virtue-signaling liberal elites, predominantly white, use their influence to further the lie of an unjust, white male patriarchy that systemically instills racism at all levels of society. This helps create the aura of unaccountability for persons who believe they are resisting an unjust and unfair society.

Democrats manipulate those who accept the grievance culture narrative and who want “their fair share” as reparations for past injustices. Democrats can rely on receiving votes from the “underclass” that they have created for themselves by using government largesse as inducements. Even though most receiving those benefits remain trapped in poverty, they falsely believe that democrats are more compassionate and reward them with their votes.

Democrats are the ultimate manipulators. Democrats not only love hypocrisy; they revel in it. Democrats will use any strategy to gain and maintain power, no matter who they destroy in the process. Until democrats reject the leftist ideology that has overtaken their party, they must be rejected at the ballot box. In order to have an environment where we can seek a better life, enjoy liberty, and be free to pursue happiness, democrats and their leftist cohorts must be soundly rejected.

California democrats show their true colors.

Independent investigative reporter Nick Shirley did the job that mainstream media “journalists” refused to do. He dug deep and discovered vast amounts of fraudulent activity in the Minneapolis Somali community that bilked taxpayers of $Billions. Shirley has continued to follow other leads as he investigates and reports on similar cases of fraud in Ohio and California. The democrat led California Legislature just passed a bill criminalizing the exact type of investigative reporting that Shirley has conducted. Apparently, defrauding the federal government is right, good, and salutary for California democrats. Your tax dollars are to be exploited however democrats see fit.

Ballot counting continues from Tuesday’s primary election. It appears that the “jungle primary” will not finish with two Republicans moving on to the regular election for governor in November. Had that happened, California legislators, in a fit of raw partisan hypocrisy, were poised to change the rules, mid-stream, to maintain “fairness,” even though the jungle primary was enacted specifically to benefit democrats. As for the Los Angeles mayor’s primary race, mail in ballots continue to be dropped and the interloper candidate, Spencer Pratt, fails to garner any votes from those drops. All too convenient you say? Democrats will stop at nothing to maintain power.

In New York, the democrat legislature is attempting to eliminate the nuclear family. New legislation identifying mothers as “gestating parent” and fathers as “non-gestating parent.” This out-of-control wokeness legislation would also redefine paternity as “parentage” and deadbeat fathers or putative father to “alleged parent.” A similar attempt by democrat Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers to redefine mothers as “inseminated persons” in his budget proposal went up in flames. The democrat party’s infatuation with gender identity is mind-boggling, especially since 70-80% of the populace opposes this insanity.  

From Reform California is a list of some of the 2025 California legislatures most egregious bills;

1. AB 1333 – would make self-defense illegal by allowing an individual to be charged with a crime for defending themselves from a criminal.
2. AB 1421 – would impose a costly mileage tax on all CA drivers – costing $900 to $1200 a year on top of the nation’s highest gas and car taxes.
3. AB 49 – would prohibit ICE from going onto school property to conduct enforcement, protecting criminals instead of kids.
4. AB 916 – would ban hand soap and body wash containing disinfectant or antiseptic ingredients - after encouraging their use during the pandemic.
5. AB 766 – would force state agencies to shove Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) goals into their strategic plans.
6. AB 681 – would give undocumented students up to $140,000 in taxpayer funded loans—while actual citizens get nothing comparable to that.
7. AB 309 – would provide free needles to drug users across the state, encouraging substance abuse instead of addressing it.
8. AB 554 – would force insurers to cover HIV prevention drugs like PrEP, which works like a condom, treating personal choices as an insurance obligation.
9. AB 715 – would allow attorneys who break the law in other states to continue practicing in California, no matter what crimes they’ve committed.
10. AB 471 – would increase pay for local politicians, putting taxpayer money into the pockets of already overpaid elected officials.
11. ACA 2 – would guarantee gold-plated pensions for politicians, ensuring politicians have a cushy retirement while taxpayers’ foot the bill.
12. AB 56 – would force social media platforms to warn you about dangers every day— more nanny state nonsense.
13. AB 446 – would ban businesses from using personal data to adjust their prices, even though the government does the same by charging different rates based on income.
14. AB 475 – would ban requiring prisoners in state prisons to do basic work like cleaning, laundry, and cafeteria work.
15. AB 1187 – would require anyone wanting to buy a gun to attend an eight-hour training course every time they purchase one.
16. SB 281 – would vacate criminal convictions for non-citizens if they weren’t warned about deportation risks—an automatic get-out-of-jail-free card.
17. AB 397 – would provide child tax credits for undocumented individuals up to age 18, rewarding illegal behavior and draining taxpayer resources.
18. AB 435 – would increase the age requirement for securing children in a baby seat from 8 to 13 years old.
19. AB 891 – would convert already cramped highway lanes into bicycle lanes.
20. AB 954 – would divert gas tax revenue, which was initially promised to be used for road maintenance, to fund bicycle lane construction.

California is a microcosm of all that is wrong with the democrat party. If democrats are allowed to gain majorities in Congress in the mid-terms this November, these are the types of policies that will be enacted into law for all of us. Heaven help us if a democrat wins the presidency in 2028 and has a democrat-controlled Congress. Republicans are far from perfect, but the alternative is a disaster waiting to happen.

Deceived by the worship of self-destruction.

Pride, arrogance, haughtiness are evidence of self-worship and devaluation of God. Celebrities, politicians, and other elites seem to believe that their skills are magnified and their intellects expanded. Since they are proficient in their chosen fields, they extrapolate those skills to make themselves experts in matters in which they do not possess any real-life knowledge.

Biology affirms that two genders are necessary for procreation of all mammals. Procreation enables the perpetuation of species. Medical science has developed alternate methods to circumvent the traditional method to inseminate a human female, but both genders are still required for artificial insemination. Transgenderism, or what was once formally recognized as gender dysphoria, is a mental disorder. One cannot, no matter how much one desires it to be true, change their gender and be a fully functioning man or woman. A transgender male will never be able to father a child, and a transgender female will never be able to deliver a child. Additionally, surgically altered transgendered individuals will never be able to have normal sexual relations. Subjecting children to puberty blocking drugs or surgical alterations as “gender affirming care” should be accompanied with an arrest and revocation of medical licensing.

Love your neighbor as yourself. Forgive as you have been forgiven. Political correctness and wokeness threaten the very foundations of society. Hatred and revenge are the hallmarks of the left with their unbridled rush to level the playing field to exact retribution from those labeled as oppressors. “Democratic” socialism is their solution where equity reigns and equality dies. Tax the rich until there are no rich. When the money dries up, then what? Capitalism is far from perfect, but it does foster equal opportunity to all.

If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. John 15:9-13

Unbridled spending drives inflation enables fraud on an almost unimaginable scale and creates generational reliance upon government largesse. Black Americans have been shackled with government handouts and confined to inner city slums for decades by policies championed by democrats. Estimates of fraud are as high as 20% of government spending, or over $1Trillion annually. The national debt has been driven north of $37Trillion by wasteful spending and fraud. Think about that. How can 535 congressional members conduct appropriate oversight, when half of them are likely on the take? Donald Trump and Republicans are not an existential threat to democracy; democrats most certainly are. Congressional democrats have enriched themselves at taxpayer expense. They serve themselves, not their constituency. They take advantage of their position and wield power to their own benefit.

We are living in an upside-down world. Our selfish human nature places us outside of God’s will. Society has prioritized the selfish desires of humankind and denied our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Reject the selfishness of the world. Without Jesus we are lost. This is why the world is spiraling out of control. This is why criminals are protected and law enforcement is vilified. This is why so many have resorted to violence. This is why families are torn apart over differing politics. There is a true solution to what ails us. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. Follow Him and your world will return to ordered, instead of chaotic. Follow Him and you will learn that loving your neighbor is far more fulfilling than harboring pent-up anger and hatred. Follow Him and you will experience the joy of your salvation. Jesus can heal your heart and change the world. Follow Him!

Democrat leaders embolden lawlessness.

What we experience today often mirrors a world that has been imagined in works of fiction. Authors invent circumstances that would appear to be far from reality, but in today’s upside-down world fiction replaces reality as the left embraces the absurd. Democrats focus much of their energy emulating dogma taken from a number of well-known novels that envision dystopian societies.

George Orwell’s novel 1984 portends of a totalitarian society ruled by Big Brother that seeks to control all aspects of the people’s lives. “Who controls the past controls the future.” “Ignorance is strength.” Fact becomes fiction as the unhinged left works feverishly to destroy democracy, replace it with socialism, and with that, create a dystopian society where the Constitution is torn up and freedoms curtailed. Leftists are more than content to rule over the ashes.

In George Orwell’s Animal Farm, some of the animals were deemed, “more equal” than others. “If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” DEI, ESG, and other “woke” ideology seeks to elevate individuals solely based upon the color of one’s skin, not the content of one’s character or merit. So much for working towards a color-blind society.

In Ray Bradbury’s novel Fahrenheit 451, books were banned and if any were discovered, firemen were tasked to burn them. “A book is a loaded gun in the house next door…Who knows who might be the target of the well-read man?” During Joe Biden’s administration, his Department of Justice colluded with social media companies to control their chosen narrative and censor speech in which they disagreed. Dissenters were cancelled and shadow banned, including the nation’s longest operating newspaper, the New York Post.

Sean Connery’s role as James Bond 007 came with the caveat, “license to kill.” Democrats unhinged, capricious, and incessant ranting against our President and Republicans have incited weak-minded individuals to commit numerous acts of violence. In some cases, democrats have attempted to justify that violence. Well, Senator Schumer, you certainly have unleashed a whirlwind of mayhem and lawlessness.

An encounter with a transvestite is the subject of the 1970 Kinks song, Lola, “Boys will be girls and girls will be boys, it’s a mixed up muddled up shook up world.” Today the democrat party, leftist ideologues, and useful idiot liberals promote transgender medical intervention for children too young to understand the concept of gender and sexuality. In a society that prohibits minors from obtaining a tattoo, requires attaining the age of 21 in order to legally drink alcoholic beverages, and demands parental approval for school field trip attendance, attempting to encourage gender dysphoria in children certainly fits the bill as a mixed up, muddled, and shook-up world!

Mainstream or moderate democrats have become a scarce commodity as leftist ideology has been mainstreamed into the ethos of this misguided political party. Democrats take the low road as their rhetoric devolves from constructive dialogue into name calling and foul language. Democrats utter lack of respect for any opinions that differ from their chosen narrative cause them to revile and reject those in which they disagree. There is no compromise. There is no common ground. Democrats decide to die on the hill advocating for ideology that only a tiny minority truly support. Evil has come out into the light and the democrats are exposed for what they really are.

All bets are off while absurdity reigns. Hate your neighbors if they are conservative. Unfriend anyone who had the audacity to vote for Trump. Shun your family at Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners if they are conservative. Justify violence in the name of saving democracy from the false narrative of an “existential” threat. Fight Trump and Republicans by all means necessary, even if it is at a great cost to this nation.

Democrats have been overwhelmed by the mass hysteria that is Trump Derangement Syndrome. Many others are also inflicted with this disease, as they blindly follow in lockstep with the narrative parroted by a left leaning media. “Whoever is filled with hate disguises it with his speech, but inside he holds on to deceit. When he talks charmingly, do not trust him because of the seven disgusting things in his heart. His hatred is deceitfully hidden, but his wickedness will be revealed to the community.” Proverbs 26:24-26. Adam Schiff, Leticia James, Nancy Pelosi, and of all those that use their political office to enrich themselves, democrats dominate the list. Democrats’ wickedness and deceit is being revealed daily. This verse seems to fit today’s democrat party to a tee.

The evil that has overwhelmed the democrat party must be rejected. If democrats refuse to moderate and return to some semblance of normalcy, they must be soundly rejected at the ballot box.

It appears that we are living in an episode of the Babylon Bee or that the news is simply an “Onion” parody, but the collective psychosis all around us is very real. The siren call of the left is to resist, conflating it as a call to a higher purpose, but they are not engaging in a fight to save democracy. They are obstructing a government that is endeavoring to return to its intended purpose, to be by, of, and for the people. These “useful idiots,” many paid to protest without the faintest idea of why they have gathered, vandalize the “oppressors,” and shout down all who dare to deliver truth. If only they would devote themselves to actions that benefit society, rather than continually sowing the seeds of discontent…

How is it appropriate for employees of the federal government to actively undermine a duly elected President’s administration by ignoring lawful directives should they disagree politically? Those federal employees serve the public, who elected the President with a majority and a clear mandate, are rejecting the will of the very people whose tax dollars provide their salaries. Why was there not a concerted effort by the bureaucratic state to obstruct the policies of the Biden administration? No matter who leads the nation from the oval office, policy directives, if lawful, must be implemented no matter what your personal beliefs may be.

How are we as a nation justifying deliberate defiance to the rule of law? Is law-breaking defensible if one’s political ideology is not aligned with the duly elected President? Hennepin County, Minnesota; Dylan Bryan Adams, a staffer with Governor Tim Walz’ administration is arrested after vandalizing several Teslas, causing over $20,000.00 damage. The George Soros backed democrat District Attorney refuses to prosecute. Days later, a first-time offender, keyed a fellow employee’s car, causing $7500.00 worth of damage and is charged with a felony by that same D. A.

Milwaukee County Wisconsin; Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan willfully obstructs ICE agents with a valid detainer, by shielding an illegal alien and his attorney, allowing access through a non-public area for them to escape the courthouse out of sight of ICE agents. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers issues a directive to all State employees to not cooperate with immigration officials, along with guidance to obstruct, blatantly defying Federal immigration authority. What is the common denominator in each of these incidents, the elected officials are all democrats. Yes, those same democrats that rail about the rule of law and that President Trump is an existential threat to democracy pick and choose what laws they will obey.

Democrat Wisconsin Assemblyman Ryan Clancy said in an interview on CNN, “Judge Dugan is doing what all of us will be called to do in the days and weeks and months to come, and it’s standing up for people in our community that are being targeted by the Trump regime.” If that seems like a call to action against a duly elected President by an elected representative that is tantamount to treason, it is! This is today’s democrat party, the true threat to the rule of law and our Constitutional Republic. Millionaires Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’ anti oligarchy tour would be comical except that many truly believe their drivel. This is just more democrat lies that stoke the anger of those who would engage in violence against their perceived enemies.

It is time for our nation to wake up and reject the dangerous lies that the democrat party is spreading. It is time to realize that we have differing opinions and to respect those persons without vilifying them. It is time that the democrat party fulfill their oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

Democrats have chosen to disregard their oath of office by deliberately revolting against a President, elected by a majority of the people, by any means necessary. If they succeed, our nation will be lost. This is not a call to arms. This is a wakeup call to all citizens that love this nation and the freedoms it affords us. The evil that the democrats are abetting must be resisted. Any democrat politician that supports the treasonous actions of their party must be removed from positions of authority and this must occur at the ballot box. If the democrat party refuses to return to bipartisanship and work with Republican lawmakers, it is time for the democrat party to fade into the sunset. If their only option is to work against the people who elected them, then our only option is to help make them an insignificant minority.

 

Counterfeit Grievance

Just as aberrant sexual behavior has been normalized with the assistance of the left, they attempt to validate the use of “righteous” violence to advance perceived grievances.

It never ceases to amaze me that Scripture, even the Old Testament, is so very pertinent to today. What is happening today has happened before. The evil one and his minions continue to use the same tired playbook. Perhaps, now the people will not continue to fall for those same tricks. Democrats are the perverters of justice. Their playbook fosters division, embraces lies, and denies common sense. Their accusations, although amplified by a compliant media, are a steady stream of falsehoods and delusions.

The organized attacks on Tesla dealerships, charging stations, and owner is not just mind numbingly wrong-headed, it is terribly misguided. Leftist true believers and paid thugs carry out the marching orders of the democrat elite. “Let the pawns expose themselves to danger,” while the leftist democrat leaders use their minions to preplan and carry out their misdeeds that endanger our nation’s rule of law. For democrats, the rule of law is to be bent, folded, and mutilated to their advantage. You see, the ends justify the means.

During the riots of the summer of 2020, our Department of Justice simply engaged in catch and release. During and after the events of January 6^th, 2021, the Department of Justice left no stone unturned to bring anyone at the Capital to “justice.”

Under the guise of protecting democracy, $Billions of property damage, numerous lives lost, and hundreds injured, leftist rioters were granted leniency in 2020, while even peaceful trespassers on January 6^th were prosecuted well beyond the scope of their transgressions. Yes, democrats lied to the American people about the “insurrection” on January 6^th while they minimized the “mostly peaceful” riots after George Floyd’s death at the hands of Minneapolis Police. Antifa and Black Lives Matter thugs we let off with municipal citations, when they committed felonies, while grandmothers strolling through open doors at the Capital were given four-year sentences.

“So justice is turned away, and righteousness stands at a distance. For truth has stumbled in the public square, and honesty cannot enter. Truth is missing, and whoever turns from evil becomes prey. The LORD looked and was displeased that there was no justice.” Isaiah 59:14-15

Ken Martin, the Democrat National Committee Chair is instituting a “people’s cabinet” to actively undermine a duly elected President and his administration. Tim Walz, the 2024 democrat Vice-Presidential candidate had earlier called for a “shadow government” to derail and counter any policy initiatives proposed by President Trump. In this case the democrats are not propagating lies, they do admit to conspiring to commit treason against the sitting President, elected by a majority of Americans. The utter contempt that democrats have for the people is staggering. They utterly fail to govern by refusing to even try.

Yet, the democrat party’s biggest failure is their inability to discern right from wrong. To them, violence is a way to regain power. To them, continuing to support waste, fraud, and inefficiency in government maintains the money flow to their party. To them, their party is everything. To them, the people are merely pawns to help them get what they want.

Democrats think Americans are stupid. Democrats only obey the law when it serves their self-interests. Democrats have chosen their side, and it is not on the side of freedom. Democrats, simply put, are in league with Satan because they believe that better serves their purpose than moderating their positions in order to serve God.

The democrat party commits both offenses with their rhetoric and their malfeasance. They must be exposed for what they truly are and face the appropriate consequences. With DOGE following the money, hopefully that will happen sooner than later.

 

 

 

Loyal Opposition

 

The key to a functional democracy.

Per the Mirriam-Webster dictionary; a minority party especially in a legislative body whose opposition to the party in power is constructive, responsible, and bounded by loyalty to fundamental interests and principles. A well-fortified minority will tend to improve legislative debate and can become a genuine loyal opposition.

·         Minority Party

Even though they seem to have failed to grasp this fact, democrats are the minority party and as such, they need work with the majority in order to legitimately govern in the United States Congress. The minority cannot pass any legislative bills without votes from the majority party. They do not hold leadership positions in either the House or Senate. They do not chair any committees. Any legislation desired by democrats must first be approved and moved to the floor for debate by the majority leader. Although the legacy media amplifies democrat denunciations, they do so with the realization that democrats are powerless to impose their will due to their minority standing. This is how a Constitutional Republic is supposed to function. As Barack Obama famously declared, “Elections have consequences.”

·         Opposition Party

Democrats certainly do check the opposition box, as they obstruct the majority party, and vehemently oppose any policy actions brought forward by the administration. With lawsuits filed before hand-picked radical leftist judges they attempt to derail the administration’s agenda. Under the umbrella of the democrat party, their allies organize protests, disrupt Congressional member’s town halls, and foment violence against their “enemies.” Democrat leaders, not only fail to denounce the violence, but they also attempt to justify these unlawful actions. Democrats have become the bitter clingers as Obama accused conservatives. They cling to their strawman arguments, condemning the 1%, accusing others of being existential threats to democracy that they themselves have become, and worshiping at the altar of government largesse.

·         Constructive

They refuse to engage in any meaningful, bipartisan, or constructive debate to conduct the people’s business, instead, consistently with explicit rancor, condemn their counterparts, accusing them of the very behavior they themselves engage in. Democrats erect a virtual wall between themselves and any semblance of bipartisanship, chastising their own if they dare to challenge their chosen narrative. Denouncing policies that a vast majority of the populace supports leaves the democrats on an island. They continue to support leftist ideology that is soundly rejected by their constituency. Democrats criticize DOGE and Elon Musk when waste, fraud, and inefficiencies are exposed, choosing to protect their public sector union benefactors rather than the taxpayers they are charged to represent. As always, the people are on the short end of this bargain.

·         Responsible

Democrats have exchanged responsible actions with reprehensible behavior. They shout blatant lies from the mountaintops, from declaring MAGA an existential threat to democracy to Elon Musk is stealing Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid from you. Pushing a false narrative has never hampered democrats if those lies further their quest for money and power. We have witnessed the weak-minded individuals that have lashed out in violence in response to democrat lies.

·         Loyal

Democrat loyalty remains with the leftist ideology that they still believe is the best option to remain in and regain power. They willfully ignore the Constitution by manipulating voting rules, immigration laws, and continue to engage in lawfare, using rogue, leftist judges to hamstring the duly elected President’s, and by virtue of his election, the people’s agenda.

·         Well-fortified minority

Democrats are fortified by money from left wing organizations and the usual suspects, George Soros, Reid Hoffman, and their ilk. ActBlue, NGO’s, and non-profits launder money and provide cover for democrat illegal campaign fund raising, while furthering illegal immigration schemes, voter fraud, and other leftist goals.

·         Fundamental interests and principals

Democrats are fundamentally opposed to whatever gets in the way of their own self-interests, including their constituency. Their principals have devolved into unconditional support for transgenderism, illegal immigration, and stopping Trump by any means necessary. Opposition to school choice, when public schools are failing miserably, is evidence that their teacher’s union benefactors are paramount in their decision making.

·         Improve legislative debate

Debate in Congress has devolved into shouting matches, derogatory accusations, and downright disruptive behavior by democrats.

Democrats have proven that they have totally disregarded their duty as the loyal opposition and have become merely a conduit for leftist ideology. Democrats will burn the country down if it means they can regain power and rule over the ashes. The democrat party has lost support, exponentially as they are viewed as an obstructive body. In a recent poll, less than 50% of democrats support their own party. Democrats need to be marginalized until such a time as they choose to moderate their extreme positions. If they fail to do so, they need to be voted out of office, wholesale.

As the democrat party fades into irrelevancy, they have launched a strategy to use outright lies to undermine the Trump administration. There is no nuance to their actions since they have nothing valid to offer this nation, other than bitter hatred of Trump. The democrat party was rejected in the 2024 election, yet they continue to embrace insane leftist ideology. Democrats have lost their way. They stubbornly cling to all things woke, even though this often places them at odds with 70-80% of the population. Not only is the democrat party failing to adjust their strategy to align with common sense societal values, they refuse to acknowledge the error of their ways.

Democrats on transgenderism – They remain steadfast in their belief that little Johnny can become little Janet and that if the child chooses to alter their gender, parents need not be consulted. It is ideology over reality. They approve of chosen gender pronouns, gender reassignment surgeries, and life altering puberty blocking drugs for minors. Anyone else that is gender confused can obtain medical treatments at government expense, including those imprisoned. Male inmates can elect to be housed with females if they claim that they are women. There are no unforeseen consequences to those actions that could occur?

Democrats on LGTBQI+ - Woke school boards allow pornographic homosexual novels to be placed in elementary school libraries. The very same books, when read aloud by parents at a school board meeting are shut down due to their graphic nature. Pride flags flown proudly at democrat state capitols take the place of state and POW flags. Pride parades that are no more than an excuse for homosexual exhibitionism are celebrated. Pride month? Where do their priorities lie?

Democrats on fraud, waste, and bloated bureaucracy – It would seem that making government more efficient and accountable would be an issue that transcends politics, but democrats are fighting DOGE tooth and nail. They are beholden to the public sector unions that funnel $Millions to the DNC. Unfortunately, some elected officials may find themselves in hot water once Elon and his compatriots follow the money trail from these bloated agencies. Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are facing insolvency in the next decade. If we cannot trim down the federal budget, those entitlements could be severely reduced. Interest payments on the national debt is approaching $1Trillon annually. Democrats continue to accuse Trump of trying to gut those programs, when their obstructionism will adversely affect the solvency of those programs.

Democrats on “saving our democracy” – over 100 lawsuits have been filed to obstruct legitimate executive actions by cherry picking radical leftist judges, most that have no jurisdiction on the matter, then have the audacity to issue orders to the President. Imagine that, a US District Court Judge issuing rulings that restrict the executive branch from carrying out Constitutionally protected duties and executive orders. Next federal laws, upheld as constitutional will be struck down by any radical leftist judge and the democrats will approve.

Democrats as the “loyal opposition” party – Resist, obstruct, derail, lie, and whatever else is necessary to destroy not only the Trump administration, but the majority of this nation that elected him. Not only has their rhetoric influenced radicals within the US, it has emboldened other nations to act brazenly against the US. Our nation’s world standing has suffered as democrats continually rebuke every White House statement or action.

Democrats on tariffs – Other nations have accumulated massive trade surpluses with the US due to their imposing tariffs on US goods. Canada has amassed over $60 Billion, Mexico over $150 Billion annually. Democrats lambast President Trump’s reciprocal tariffs as “inflationary” when the reciprocity will simply level the playing field and likely lower other countries tariffs on the US. Democrats are wrong again and their resistance will ultimately harm the US consumer.

The list could go on, but democrats have made the choice to be on the wrong side of history, yet they resist changing direction. Unless they return to a semblance of normalcy and begin to prioritize serving the people again, rather than being the obstructionists that they now are, they will fade into oblivion. And it will be well deserved.

Leftist judges pervert justice.

Partisanship or political bias cannot affect any decisions from the judicial branch of government. The Constitution and enacted laws that are deemed constitutional are the only considerations when rendering an opinion. There are three co-equal branches of government, legislative, executive, and judicial. Each is granted limited authority with oversight among them. Since the dawn of Trump, co-equal no longer pertains. Democrats have filed lawsuit after lawsuit, challenging executive actions by President Trump. District court judges are granting themselves broad powers, taking jurisdiction where they have none, and injecting themselves into the political sphere. We first saw this when Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg indicted and convicted Trump on 34 separate felonies related to federal campaign finance laws, in which his office did not have jurisdiction. Perversion of the law continues, unabated.

Without mutual respect and “staying in your lane,” the legislative, executive, and judicial branches cannot co-exist in a manner that the framers intended and will ultimately create a dysfunctional government. The Constitution must be adhered to. Laws must be respected and upheld. Each branch must allow the other to perform their constitutionally authorized duties, without obstruction from the other. This Constitutional Republic will fall if usurpation of authority becomes the norm. Joe Biden usurped the legislative branch’s authority when he forgave $Billions of student loans, even while acknowledging he had no authority to do so. He continued granting loan forgiveness even after the Supreme Court ruled his actions unconstitutional. This cannot become a precedent lest our nation be plunged into an executive branch anarchy, establishing an unrestrained and authoritarian Presidential office.

Radical left-wing judges continue to “order” presidential actions to cease and desist the enforcement of lawful executive orders. This radicalization of judicial actions is not limited to federal judges. In Wisconsin, a circuit judge in a liberal county, overturned Act 10, a law upheld by the Wisconsin Supreme Court a decade ago. Not only did this judge lack jurisdiction, the “new” liberal majority of the Wisconsin Supreme Court accepted the case and will re-rule on the constitutionality of the law. On April 1^st Wisconsin will elect a new Supreme Court Justice and either the liberals will maintain their 4-3 majority or conservatives will regain the majority after the ballots are tabulated. Even if the conservative prevails, the liberal majority will move to strike down Act 10, which turned a $3.5 Billion deficit into a $4 Billion surplus, before a new conservative justice is seated. Partisanship run amok!

The last Wisconsin Supreme Court race saw tens of millions of democrat dollars poured into the coffers of the democrat’s chosen candidate, uber-lefty Janet Protasiewicz. She prevailed in the election, even after declaring Act 10 unconstitutional, Wisconsin’s district maps unfair, criticized voter ID, and stated that she would overturn Wisconsin’s abortion law. Yet, she is now seated on the state’s highest court! If the democrat’s chosen candidate, Susan Crawford, an uber-lefty judge from Dane County, is elected as Supreme Court Justice, insanity from the bench will overcome Wisconsin. Brad Schimel, the conservative in the race, will restore some semblance of rationality to the court. Although Crawford’s ads accuse Schimel of failing to address the backlog of sexual assault kits, Schimel, as Wisconsin Attorney General, instituted a policy that identified and completed the vast majority of all untested rape kits he inherited after he was elected. Democrat carpetbagger AG Josh Kaul ignores his duties to defend Wisconsinites while he chases down lawsuits, many of no benefit to Wisconsin, some where he lacks jurisdiction or standing, with the intent to derail President Trump’s agenda.

Partisanship from the bench, overwhelmingly initiated by radical leftists appointed by democrats, needs to end yesterday. Our nation cannot withstand the judicial assault on our Constitution. We are spiraling down a rabbit hole that leads to the destruction of the rule of law, the very thing that holds the fabric of society together.

The constant drumbeat by the left villainizing their political opponents has indelibly sowed the seeds of division in this nation. Legacy media, Hollywood elitists, the democrat party leaders, and much of social media have fomented a growing hatred amongst the populace so pervasive that it is out of control. Neighbor pitted against neighbor, citizen against citizen, and families torn asunder by insipid political ideology. What have we become? Reject your families if they support President Trump? Calling anyone opposed to their radical ideology Hitler! Screaming that this is the end of democracy and there will be no more elections. Unhinged hyperbole by leftists losing their minds while they exaggerate baseless claims repeatedly, loses any manner of credibility.

The petulant display by elected democrat representatives during the President’s speech at the joint session of Congress was despicable. Democrats refusing to acknowledge a 13-year-old cancer survivor? Democrats applauding continuing the senseless bloodshed between Ukraine and Russia? Who is it that really is a threat to democracy? Evil is flourishing in this world and the democrat party is embracing it.

Darkness is having a field day as leftists celebrate the murder of children waiting to be born and then have the audacity to call it women’s reproductive health care. Drug cartels turn to the lucrative business of human trafficking, taking advantage of a border deliberately left open by democrat party leftists that has allowed fentanyl, misery, and death to spread. Democrats are the party of woke policies that promote child sexual mutilation, sexual predation by “transgender” men, and value race, sexual orientation, and political ideology over merit and skill. Democrats are the advocates of government propaganda and censorship by sponsoring bills to effectively eliminate free speech in which they disagree. Democrats denigrate school choice, but boost teachers’ unions, thereby reducing learning opportunities for the underprivileged they “promised” to protect. Democrats target Christian educators with lawfare, forcing Christian universities and schools to expend resources defending their 1^st Amendment right to freedom of worship in court. Christianity is firmly in the crosshairs of these misguided leftists.

It may seem as if evil has been winning most of the battles, but people are slowly waking from their slumber. Evil has emerged from the darkness and the light has shown upon it so that all can recognize it.  There is a reason that democrats and their radical policies were soundly rejected at the ballot box. God’s law is indelibly written upon our hearts. The difference between right and wrong, evil and good are apparent. More young people are indeed rejecting radical ideology, returning to their roots, and embracing God. Even though it is not readily apparent, a revival is sweeping across our nation, and our youth are leading the charge. This nation, created through and with a covenant with God, is slowly recognizing the evil that has been embraced by the left and perpetrated on the masses. The pendulum is swinging back to foundational Christian principles as intended by God and adopted for this nation by our forefathers. The United States is a majority Christian nation, and it is past time for Christians to reawaken and restore that which God intended.

The democrat party, along with their allies in the legacy media, have reached a new level of irrationality with their never-ending rantings against all things conservative. Common sense has apparently eluded the leftist understanding of acceptable societal norms, basic economics, and the science of biology as they put all their eggs into their chosen, but false narrative basket. They continue looking for love in all the wrong places while according to polls, their support is crashing and burning. Frankly, if they continue this assault on our democracy, it appears likely that they will be added to the endangered species list, and rightly so.

An hour before the Zelenskyy dustup at the oval office, Senator Chris Murphy (D) Maryland, confirmed that he and a number of his fellow TDS sufferers met with Zelenskyy. Zelenskyy complained that without additional security assurances he would not sign the previously agreed upon treaty. Those Senators urged him to stand fast by those conditions. So, while the legacy media accused Trump/Vance of setting up the confrontation, the scene was actually set in motion by a group of anti-Trump and neo-con Senators that included several Republicans. That Senator Murphy actively participated in an effort to undermine the executive branch, derailed a treaty with the Ukrainian President and the US, and then having the audacity to brag about his treasonous actions is ill-advised. This is today’s democrat party leaders. I would hope that the DOJ investigates the actions of these “Senators.” Murphy

The democrat’s efforts to make Trump look bad overshadows advocating for the nation’s best interests and striving to undermine the President’s agenda eclipses the duty to serve the interests of their constituency, the American people. US representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D) New York sets up a website to advise illegal aliens how to avoid and circumvent ICE. This is a clear violation of 18 US code 118, impeding Federal law enforcement. Other organizations print instructions for illegals to avoid capture, notify illegals of enforcement actions in their area, and dox ICE agents, putting the agents in greater danger. To the democrats and their allies, anything is acceptable in their efforts to undermine the Trump administration. The coordinated attacks by the left have been stunning in their scripted assertions that are then amplified by the legacy media.

Social Security is predicted to become insolvent by 2031, necessitating up to a 40% reduction in benefits. Medicare and Medicaid are on the same trajectory. Yet, democrats whine and cry about funding and staffing cuts for the bloated Federal bureaucracy they support over the citizens they are charged to serve, falsely claiming that those entitlements will be adversely affected. Nothing could be farther from the truth. If we fail to curtail rampant and growing government spending, those entitlements will be reduced or quite possibly ended. There are currently over 2 million Federal employees, with over $271 Billion in annual salaries and benefits, averaging over $130,000 per employee. If we have any chance at reducing our deficit, a return to austerity is necessary. The United States national debt exceeds $35 Trillion. Our government is borrowing money just to pay the interest on that debt. This is completely unsustainable. Democrats want to rule over you, even if it means destroying the very nation they seek to rule.

But democrats cry that Trump is evil!!! Democrats need a long hard look in the mirror to realize just what they have become. They are on the wrong side of history and are failing to heed the will of the people. Perhaps this is a good thing if democrats fade away into ignominy. Then we will not have to witness scenes such as disrupting a Presidential address. Shame on them! Oh, and Zelenskyy stands ready to sign the mineral rights agreement as it was initially agreed upon! Trump was right on everything!

On the road back to sanity.

The first month of the second Trump Presidency has been a whirlwind return to common sense and the restoration of traditional values. For four long years the Biden administration intentionally incorporated woke insanity into the fabric of society. Now it is finally being unraveled. Love him or hate him, Donald Trump is leading the charge to re-normalize accepted “pronouns” instead of overemphasizing they/them. He is delivering on his promises, with a mandate from the majority that voiced their displeasure with the Biden/Harris administration on November 6^th. Our forebears entered into a covenant with God to instill Judeo/Christian values into this newly formed nation. Rejecting the evil that is paramount to the woke culture and reinstituting that which God approves, is long overdue.

The rollback of woke ideology is occurring at break-neck speed, and the people approve. Unfortunately, the woke leftists that apparently dominate the democrat party are doubling down on the absurdity of it all. Maine Governor Janet Mills preens to her woke audience, defies President Trump at a White House meeting of Governors, while threatening to see the President in court over her stated disregard of his executive order upholding Title IX and protecting women’s rights. Polls indicate that this is an 80/20 issue with a vast majority of people agreeing that biological boys should not compete against girls and that biological boys should be barred from using women’s locker rooms and bathrooms. Yet, the democrats persist in supporting the insanity that is the transgender agenda.

President Clinton and Obama, both democrats, tried to rein in the outlandish spending of our federal government by streamlining the bureaucracy. Clinton eliminated over 300,000 Federal workers and balanced the budget. Obama eliminated over 39,000. There was no hair on fire, assertions of threats to democracy, claims of benefits being denied, or accusations of violations of the rights of Federal workers. There really is no bias in the media, is there? By their actions, democrats support government waste, fraud, and abuse while they decry the Trump administration’s attempt to create a more efficient government that uses your tax dollars appropriately. Not what I would call a winning issue if they ever hope to regain power.

It has become all too apparent that democrats prefer to defend federal employees that deliberately undermine the current administration, and by doing so, oppose the will of the electorate they are charged to serve. Fraud, waste, and abuse of taxpayer’s money is a personal affront to all citizens of this great nation. Those enriching themselves, their families, and friends should be prosecuted to the greatest extent of the law. The love of money is the root of all evil and those that fall prey to that proclivity will be identified, investigated, indicted, thrown out of office, and learn what life behind bars is all about.

Interest payments on our national debt exceed the annual budget of our national defense. Trillions of dollars are spent without justification or records to where the monies went. Taxes continue to pay for a bloated bureaucracy that continues to grow and siphon the nation’s money that would be spent to positively grow the economy, create wealth, and jobs. This must end. Government must only provide the necessities, efficiently and cost effectively. That is not the case as our government has run amok, ruling rather than serving the people. Those who steal from the people are simply criminals, enriching themselves at other’s expense.

Ronald Reagan famously said, “In this present situation, government is not the solution; government is the problem.” In the forty years since he said this, government is not only the problem, but it also hinders the very structure of this nation. It has metastasized like a cancer leaving surgery as the only option. Government must be cut down to size and begin to function as the founders intended. If the democrats refuse to conform and serve the people, they will be left behind as an insignificant minority that they truly have become. Get on the train or it will pass you by. The people are watching and waiting for a return to sanity from the “loyal opposition.” Unfortunately, I only see democrats doubling down on insane leftist ideology, making them prime candidates for the next species facing extinction, and rightfully so!

Too busy to care.

It wasn’t curiosity that killed the cat, it was apathy. The Roman Empire did not fall in a day. Years of indifference took a toll. If you do not pay attention, those who fill in the void will prevail. Too preoccupied to pay attention to your civic responsibility? Too busy to properly inform yourself of the issues that matter? Unconcerned with the evil that is overwhelming our culture? Actions, or in this case, the lack thereof, cedes our nation to those who strive to fundamentally transform America, a transformation that will ultimately lead to the demise of this Constitutional Republic. This nation is on a path that will make it unrecognizable less than 250 years after its’ founding. This is happening right in front of our noses, yet too few pay attention. Unfortunately, when they finally realize the clear and present danger presented by the left, it may be too late and America will be lost, perhaps forever. Nice work!

Democrats scream bloody murder, no pun intended, when the Supreme Court strikes down Roe V Wade and sends abortion back to the individual states. Democrat Attorney General Josh Kaul sues the legislature over the “obsolete” 1849 Statute that abolishes abortion when it becomes the law of the land in Wisconsin. Two referenda on the ballot on August 13^th sought to return shared authority for the distribution of emergency federal funding to both the legislature and governor. The legislature ceded the sole authority to the Governor in the 1930’s, when it was, due to transportation issues, difficult to get the legislature back to the Capitol in a timely manner to address emergencies. As you may know, transportation today is much more efficient and the legislature can convene in a manner of hours, if necessary, rendering that argument obsolete. Unlike the 1849 abortion law, democrats were fine with an obsolete law that rested the sole authority to manage Billions of federal dollars to the Governor, or at least until a Republican Governor takes office.

I must say that the Democrats and their allies did an excellent job “messaging” flat out lies in ads leading up to the election. They accused “extreme MAGA Republicans” for attempting to wrest power from the people. They argued that it would create an unnecessary burden and delay for those awaiting relief. Really? For those of you who did not see fit to properly inform yourself and were fooled into voting “NO,” you actually voted against your own self-interest. Nice work! These referenda would have given joint authority to the people’s representatives and the Governor to decide where and to who these monies would be allocated, which is exactly how state government is supposed to work. By rejecting these referenda, the citizens have ceded that authority to one person and crowned that person a King. You have, in fact, enabled tyranny and denied authority to the very people you elected to represent your interests at the state level.

Give them what they want, they will get what they deserve. As Rush Limbaugh postulated about the “Low information voter (LIV) theory that too many in the voting population cast their ballots without the requisite information necessary to make an informed decision.” As former President Barack Obama once said, “Elections have consequences.” It would seem that both are correct.

“The cornerstone of democracy rests on the foundation of an educated electorate.” Thomas Jefferson
