The political divide leads to tribalism.

On the 25^th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade towers, the Pentagon, and the “let’s roll” heroes’ circumvention of flight 93 in Pennsylvania, our nation could not be more divided. After those heinous attacks on that day left 3000 innocents dead, our nation came together regardless of political persuasion. In times of war, the United States citizens support one another, and our military so that the goal of protecting our freedom triumphs. Not so today. Political and policy disagreements have distorted reality for many of our friends on the left. Gone are the days where politics were put aside and we worked together to achieve common goals. The goals of the left contrast with those of a free and democratic society.

Jesus called us to forgive as our Father forgives us. Leftists, anarchists, race baiters, Islam sympathizers, America haters, antisemites, “pro-choice,” and those who disparage success all come from one end of the political spectrum. Why do leftists accuse, disparage, and begrudge those with differing political opinions? There is little or no forgiveness in their hearts. They have been taken captive by the evil one. Policies that the left support reads like a list of not-to-dos from Scripture. Leftists cannot defend policies that do harm to this nation. Democratic socialism, Marxism, and communism outright reject God and lift the State as paramount.

The current iteration of the democrat party has fallen into the trap of opposing policies that a majority of the citizenry support and support what the majority opposes. How then can this nation be relatively evenly split between the left and the right? Far too many conservatives do not vote. Voting is a sacred honor and a responsibility for each and every citizen. There are few excuses to neglect that responsibility. Whereas the left is motivated to crush their opponents they view as the enemy. Normal, everyday Americans that support the rule of law and cherish their freedom are hated by the left. They will do whatever it takes to destroy our society and create a new nation in their own image. Billionaires, such as George Soros and Neville Roy Singham spend $Millions to elect leftist federal, state, and local representatives, judges, District Attorneys, and even school board members to enact policies that no one wants but them. Ballot harvesting is illegal in most states, yet democrats use this system to collect thousands of ballots, particularly targeting swing states.

In other words, those who neglect their responsibility to vote enable the left to triumph in elections where there are conservative majorities. And when the left wins, there will be no forgiveness. There will be no live and let live. There will be revenge and retribution. There will be policies and laws enacted that will tear apart the fabric of a civil society. If these leftists will tear apart their own families over political differences, they will tear down this nation just so they can rule over the ashes. The only way to stop this insanity is to have democrats lose election after election until they decide to moderate. We all have differences and diversity of opinion makes us stronger. The hatred that the left evokes weakens all of us. Hatred is a tool that Satan wields to cause us to drift away from God. Hate is the cudgel that dominates the democrat party. Democrats and their policies must be rejected until they realize the error of their way. Make your voice heard and counted!

 

Deceived

 

The same bag of tricks.

History repeats if we fail to learn from past mistakes. There will always be the gullible that have the wool easily pulled over their eyes time and time again. Satan has always played from the same playbook with ever so slight variations designed to attack the same weaknesses, varying by humankind’s intellectual development and self-focused “enlightenment.” Our innate selfishness makes us an easy target for a number of strategic attacks by the evil one. Humankind most frequently violates the first commandment, placing ourselves and our needs first and relegating God to the back of the bus. The seven deadly sins are where evil lurks.

·         Pride – Interesting that the LGTBQ+ movement chose pride as their moniker and a rainbow for their logo. Showing utter distain for their maker, they thumb their collective noses at God. They are not alone in their contempt of God. Each of us on a daily basis turn inward to celebrate ourselves as we wallow in our pride. Far too often we believe our success is of our own doing, forgetting the fact that all we are, all we have, and the very world we inhabit are gifts from God. Our pride overwhelms us and drives our overly inflated opinion of ourselves.

·         Envy – Coveting what others have earned is the driving force behind the Democratic Socialists of America’s platform. Class envy, racial animus, and sexual deviancy is the left’s calling card. Leftists are consumed with vilifying those they resent because they have achieved success. This powers their disdain of a society that rewards hard work and achievement. Capitalism is scorned by many of our young adults, while they have been convinced to believe that socialism is the proper way to achieve equality.

·         Anger – Paid protesters and ill-informed “true believers” chant slogans that disparage their opponents but fail to provide a valid argument for their cause. Indoctrinated college students truly believe the drivel that Marxist professors have been foisting upon our youth for decades. Leftist women march for causes they fail to understand. Access to abortion, or what leftists call reproductive healthcare, drives women, who likely will never request an abortion, to the polls to elect “pro-choice” democrats to protect the right to murder the unborn, that also seek to fundamentally transform this nation.

·         Overindulgence – 72.4% of Americans are considered overweight. In this land of plenty, we negatively impact our health by overeating. Now we have drugs that help us lose weight, drugs that also include some adverse effects. Reminds one of the vomitoriums in ancient Rome where people gorged on food, vomited so they could go back and gorge some more. Why adopt a healthy lifestyle when drugs can do the trick?

Lust – Today’s leftist democrat party is all about sexual deviancy in the name of compassion, tolerance, and acceptance. Drag queen story hour, curriculum that normalizes homosexuality for elementary students, and hyper sexualization of children through transgender ideology. This is one of the evil one’s most tried and true methods to widen the chasm between God and His children. Sex sells and capitalizing on humankind’s sexuality enables the left to further weaken the fabric of society and create division. Whether or not they realize it, the left is complicit in implementing Satan’s plan.

The foray into sexual deviancy has destroyed many nations without the necessity of an invading army to conquer it. Time and again, Satan uses our carnal appetites to tear apart society and create a new normal that is contrary to God’s will. Unfortunately, this strategy has ensnared many of God’s children.

·         Laziness – A welfare work requirement for the able bodied, without children, is looked upon as a personal affront and a “white supremacy” issue. Able bodied persons should have a work requirement whether or not they are eligible for assistance. Our society no longer frowns upon those who choose to take a handout, even if it is not necessary. Our devices bring all the information that the internet provides, yet many get their information (usually mis or disinformation) from social media. Why read and research when you can mindlessly watch videos that tell you what to think?

·         Greed – Socialists accuse those who have gained wealth through hard work and merit as being greedy. Socialists only want to take what is not theirs and what they have failed to earn. And what their ill-begotten gains will be spent on will be to the detriment of this nation. Christians are called to be radically generous, yet sharing what God has given us seems to elude so many. We can be generous with the gifts God has bestowed upon us.

It should be more than apparent that the democrat party has hitched its wagon to the DSA, and in turn, has taken up the devil’s agenda. Democrats have become quite fond of declaring President Trump and the MAGA movement an existential threat to America. The real threat is a political party that is willing to make a deal with the devil in order to gain and maintain power. If democrats prevail in the 2026 mid-terms, it just may begin this nation’s fall from grace. The United States is a Christian majority nation. If you are willing to let this nation be overcome by evil, stay home in November. If you still believe in the shining city on a hill, cast your vote accordingly. With your help, freedom will live to see another day.

Irredeemable?

 

Hillary may have been right, sort of.

There just may be people that have been so influenced by the evil one that they may very well be irredeemable. Hillary accused Christians and conservatives of being irredeemable and a “basket of deplorables,” but those who celebrate accomplishing their evil deeds with ill intent are the true offenders. On October 7^th, 2023, radical Islamist terrorists gleefully killed, raped, and brutalized Israeli civilians, including forcing parents to watch their infant children burned to death before being killed themselves. Hamas video-taped their wickedness for the world to witness, yet American college students continue to support Palestinians and Hamas while vilifying Israel and their own country. While the murderous Hamas degenerates may very well be beyond salvaging, these wayward young people are not totally lost.

College professors, many of whom were once violent, radical leftists themselves, (see Bill Ayres and Bernadene Dohrn) are now in position to indoctrinate our future leaders with leftist ideology. While these leftist “educators” demean the nation that allowed them to prosper, they foster discontent among their students. These former anarchists neglect any responsibility to promote the free exchange of ideas that would enrich the lives of their charges. They are instead creating automatons that cannot think for themselves or explain their support for all things left, without spouting slogans and phrases their professors infused into their brains. These America hating, freedom despising Marxists are enemies of God. These leftist professors just may fall into Hillary’s definition of irredeemable, although they certainly check the box as deplorable.

Those that under the guise of “gender affirming care,” brainwash children by encouraging them to experiment with alternate sexual identities, prescribe puberty blocking drugs or worse, perform sexual mutilation surgeries, will have a special place in hell should they fail to turn from evil and repent. School administrators, teachers, psychiatrists, doctors, and legislators that shield gender confused children and refuse to inform parents that they wish to change their pronouns or transition, deserve the harshest condemnation. Parents are responsible for their children and any decisions that have life-altering consequences must be made by the parents, not the child or some so-called “expert.”

Abortion is another matter. Celebrating the murder of unborn children harkens back to the Canaanites who burned their children alive on a bronze bull statue as sacrifices offered to their deity Baal. Each of us began within our mother’s womb, deserving to be born. It is the personification of evil when leftists attempt to justify the killing of another human being as “my body, my choice.” Unfortunately, the unborn human being has no choice in the matter. Abortion is premeditated murder, pure and simple. It is barbaric when a pre-born child, that can feel pain, is torn apart in the birth canal, right up to the time of delivery. Abortion is evil and those who practice it are selfish, uncaring, and heartless. Without a change in heart, they will have a difficult time explaining themselves at the judgement seat.

The democrat party continues with reckless rhetoric that is inciting violence and tearing the fabric of society apart. They sow division and smear their opponents with vicious lies, all in a selfish effort to attain power. Democrats fail in their responsibility to represent their constituents in government. Democrats engage in obstruction, harming their constituency by refusing to fund necessary national security apparatus, while blaming their opponents. Democrats are corrupt, utilizing whatever tactics are necessary for them to gain and maintain power.

We are all image bearers of God, are unconditionally loved by Him, and He wants all of His children to come and share eternity with Him. Yet, when does it become time to “shake the dust off our sandals?” When evil seems to have completely poisoned a person’s soul, how can we possibly reach out in love to express to them the love of Christ through our actions and speech? We cannot return hate for hate. That would only close the door on any opportunity for the Holy Spirit to influence a lost soul. As difficult as it may seem, it is essential that we see those who are lost as brothers and sisters in need of the saving grace of Jesus Christ, just as we all are.

Evil will thrive in this world if we fail to recognize it and call it out. Evil will never relent of its own accord. Pretend it is not there and it will grow stronger. Evil can be committed by good, but misguided people. Good intentions can also lead one to commit unspeakable evil. What is right in man’s law is often not in line with God’s will. Failing to understand that evil is real will allow the evil one to prosper in this world. Good people are lost to the evil one every day. Returning animosity to that screaming leftist only feeds the evil one’s plans to lead more people away from God. Evil may have won a few battles, but we know who prevails in the end. Repaying hate with love and kindness may just grease the skids enough to open that door just a crack for the Holy Spirit to enter and begin to lead them to Christ.

Liberals bite the hand that feeds them!

Trump Derangement Syndrome is very real for our liberal democrat friends. No matter what policy is put forward by this administration, democrats howl in opposition. That it benefits their constituency matters not. If they can delay, deter or derail said policies, they continue to rail against this duly elected President. Democrat appointed judges rule on cases in which they have no jurisdiction, and democrats line up to support their usurpation of power yet squeal when the conservative majority of Supreme Court Justices uphold Trump’s policies. Accused “Tyrant” Trump abides by these rulings while they are appealed to a higher court, yet he stands accused by the left of destroying democracy.

The left uses this nation’s freedoms to undermine the rule of law. Democrat elected officials refuse to acknowledge Federal supremacy in matters of immigration enforcement. They declare themselves sanctuary cities, order police to stand down, let Federal agents be attacked with impunity, and refuse to notify ICE when criminals are released, often to reoffend. Democrat elected officials place the blame for the violence they encouraged on the ICE officers that are simply conducting their lawful duties. If criminals were released to ICE in the safety of the jails, ICE would not have to search the community for these criminals. This is tantamount to setting a fire, then obstructing the firefighters from extinguishing the flames, and finally blaming the firefighters as the fire spreads out of control.

Democrat rhetoric is out of control. They understand that ending corruption, cleaning up the voter rolls, and deporting illegal aliens stands to erode their power and position. Open your eyes. Democrats care only about maintaining their power so that they can keep enriching themselves and their families. The FBI/DOJ has recovered election documents from Fulton County (Atlanta) Georgia and Maricopa County (Phoenix) Arizona after grand juries issued subpoenas for those documents. Whether President Trump’s insistence that the 2020 election was stolen should either be confirmed or refuted once and for all.

Doomsday narratives concocting scenarios of U.S. struggles, chaos, disorganization, and failure flood legacy media broadcasts. As mentioned above, such consistent deceptive accounts of events in Iran legitimately suggest Democrats and their accomplices in the media actually want the U.S. to lose in battle so Trump could suffer political consequences. It is a sick and twisted political reality, and it shows the depths of depravity to which Democrats and legacy media will sink to achieve their political objectives.”

If democrats continue to erode their duty to stand guard as the loyal opposition by continuously demonizing their opponents, our government will cease to function. Holding the nation hostage as a strategy to obstruct passing the SAVE Act, supported by 80% of the people, and block funding for DHS, will embolden the radical left to continue their crusade to destroy the rule of law, and with it this nation. If the leftist lunatics believe that their tirades are unduly influencing the democrats, they will continue escalating on their divisive path. All of which makes the 2026 mid-terms even more important.

Democrats care not what their reckless behavior and rhetoric bring, as long as they regain their majority. If they do, get ready for open borders, ID free elections, transgender surgeries on demand, European style speech enforcement, and a determined effort to replace the free market with “democratic” socialism. Do not let the low information voters decide who represents us in Congress. Vote for those whose values are in line with the mainstream. Vote for those who love God first and themselves secondarily. Vote for those who are truly public servants and not self-anointed rulers once they gain office.

If democrats prevail in November, all gains made in the last two years will be lost. The House will devolve into impeachment theater, grinding the government to a halt. And if you think your 401-K’s have taken a hit during the attacks on Iran, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Inflation will jump again as they obstruct any efforts to uncover fraud and waste. This is not hyperbole. All you need to do is remember what happened during the Biden administration and can currently witness in democrat run states and cities. Democrats are desperate and will stop at nothing to gain power again. If they prevail, all bets are off. Together, we have the power to prevent this. This is a nation that is of, by, and for the people. Make your vote count!

Transgenderism is a lie.

Tolerance, acceptance, and validation are the calling cards of the “loving” and enlightened liberal left. The left’s agenda is nothing of the sort. Tearing at the heartstrings of confused young people, these leftists promote all manner of sexual perversions to our youth. From drag queen story hour to school policies that circumvent parental authority, today’s youth are used as pawns, in a strategy designed to fundamentally transform this nation.

Adolescence is difficult enough without socially corrupt individuals confusing them more with transgender propaganda. The trust conveyed to our public-school teachers has been, unfortunately far too often, thoroughly misplaced. Some school district’s curriculum and leftist teachers enthusiastically promote the LGTBQ+ agenda rather than actually teaching reading, mathematics, and science. When schools advocate for students to consider engaging in sexual deviant behavior instead of teaching the skills necessary for children to succeed in society, perhaps the current form of public instruction needs to be reconsidered.

God created the world we live in. He created each of us in His image. Every human being is perfect in God’s sight, no matter what flaws we may seem to possess. God loves each of His children beyond our ability to understand. We were made for His purpose, with gifts and talents to be used to further His kingdom. We cannot fully understand every aspect of our lives but be assured that they are aligned in perfect harmony with His will. Even if you do not believe that you can be useful to His kingdom, there is a task that whatever talent you possess is useful to the God of the universe. We are His hands and feet in this world, all part of one body. You may be just a toe, but a person without a toe will have difficulty with balance. You do not need to be a leader, only a faithful follower.

Yet leftists decry the innate beauty of all created human beings, encouraging youth to experiment with their sexuality and explore their gender identity. These leftists are tools for the evil one, promoting the innate selfishness of the human condition. Weak-minded parents opt into this lunacy and subject their children to “gender affirming care” that permanently alters the child’s physiology. Gender dysphoria is a mental illness that most recover with the proper interventions. Puberty blocking drugs and surgical interventions to enable one to “transform” into the opposite sex do not create a fully functioning sexual being. Once chemically or surgically altered, that person will no longer be able to engage in normal sexual relations. That person will never be able to father a child or give birth. That person will likely never be able to enjoy the sexual experience.

In 1972, Congress passed Title IX, that prohibits discrimination based on sex. The types of discrimination include among other things, the failure to provide equal athletic opportunity. Equal opportunity and protection of females in college sports was the overriding concern when this legislation was passed. It also sought to address and equalize the disparity in funding allocated to women’s college sports. This afforded females the same opportunity to compete in women’s sports with funding equal to that of men’s sports. Women not only deserve equality; they deserve safety and privacy in women only spaces. Mentally ill men that pretend that they are women should be prohibited from competing in women’s sports and barred from using women’s restrooms and locker rooms. A man cannot be a woman no matter how much he wishes it so.

Transgenderism is as great a lie that has ever been perpetrated on society. Any doctor who prescribes drugs or surgically alters a child should not only have their medical license revoked; they should be charged criminally. The Hippocratic oath demands that doctors do no harm. Doctors that perform these types of procedures are as demented as the transgender zealots that exploit children to support this idiocy.

Useful idiots are perverting children as a strategy to sow division and feed discontent. These leftists that promote this dangerous ideology are the hands and feet of the evil one. This assault upon our children must be resisted and defeated before more innocent lives are ruined. Persons that have undergone gender reassignment treatment are at significant risk for suicide, 12 times greater than the rate of the general public. This is a crime that is evil as any other form of child abuse and must be stopped.

Men will always be men and women will always be women. We should celebrate our differences and live as God intended. Love your neighbor. Do not enable those who would want to destroy the wonderful creation that are reflections of God, infused with His goodness. Human beings, male and female, are the pinnacle of His creation. After Adam and Eve were created, He was very pleased!

Imminent

 

When patience is not a virtue.

Iran was taken over by a radical faction of Shiite Islam in 1979. Since then it has been ruled by a theocracy, led by an ayatollah, appointed as “Supreme Leader” that rules the government, military, and upholds Sharia law over the populace. In the ensuing years, Iran willfully funded terrorism to achieve the goal of eventually eradicating the west, in particular, Israel and the United States. Acts of terrorism, such as the bombing of the US Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon that killed 241 US soldiers and 58 French soldiers in 1983, the World Trade Center in 1993 that killed 6 and injured over 1000, and the October 7^th, 2023, Iran sponsored Hamas killed over 1200 civilians in an unprovoked attack in southern Israel. These are but a few of the examples of Iran’s radical Islamic government fomenting chaos and murdering innocents throughout the world. Their political leaders call for death to Israel and death to America while funding proxies to accomplish just that.

That same radical Islamic government yearns to build a nuclear bomb to hasten the coming of their “13^th Imam.” Iran is currently governed by Islamist zealots that have no respect for the rule of law, the lives of their own people, and will use whatever means necessary to accomplish their goals. On June 22^nd, 2025, the US bombed nuclear facilities in Iran. This has not deterred the Iranian regime from seeking to rebuild their nuclear ambitions. On February 28^th, 2026, after weeks of futile negotiations, the US and Israeli armed forces combined in Operation Epic Fury, to eliminate the Iranian regimes armed forces and degrade their capacity to threaten the region and the world. Once the theocracy that has enslaved the Iranian people and posed a threat to world peace is eliminated, the world will be a safer place.

Of course, democrats disagree, vehemently. “The threat of a nuclear attack by Iran was not imminent,” they claim. Perhaps we should have waited until the missiles were flying to be able to defend ourselves. Pre-emptive strikes against a nation that threatens another nation is well within the rights of the defending nation. International law is clear on this. Iran clearly stated during negotiations that they were on the cusp of refining enough nuclear fissile material to make 10-15 nuclear warheads and had no intention of abandoning their nuclear ambitions. With all due respect to Senator Rand Paul, if someone threatens to kick my ass and possesses the ability to do so, I’m going to strike first and attempt to end the threat. That is exactly what the US and Israel are accomplishing and if it takes eliminating every ayatollah that is named “Supreme Leader,” so be it. The world will be a better place for it.

A nation divided cannot stand and democrats are doing their best to divide this nation. Political parties can disagree on policy but must act in the best interests of the nation they are charged to represent. By continuously disparaging the opposition party, even with issues that need not be contentious, is detrimental to the nation. We can always agree to disagree, but those disagreements should never morph into the demonization of the opposition.

If we fail to return to respecting each other as a society, society is destined to fail. If we fail to responsibly govern this nation, with respectful debate and agreement on common principles, this nation will fail. If we continue our present trajectory, this nation will spiral into a decline from which it may never recover. If we cannot agree that the number one responsibility of government is to protect its citizens, then we are already adrift. We must remain unified as a nation, especially during times of armed conflict. The fall of this nation will be imminent if democrats continue this course. Until reason returns, the only alternative is to keep these leftists as far from power as possible. The mid-terms are a wake-up call for normalcy. The solution to this idiocy can be found at the ballot box. Vote for those who uphold your values and keep leftist democrats out of office. If losses in elections fail to moderate their behavior, then they will fade away into ignominy.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt said in his annual message to Congress on January 6^th, 1941, prior to the US entering WWII, but after Nazi Germany was in the midst of their conquest of Europe; “The point in history at which we stand is full of promise and danger. The world will either move forward toward unity and widely shared prosperity - or it will move apart.”

Consequences of poor decisions.

Many of the Star Trek spinoffs contain discrepancies from the original series canon. Those inconsistencies are justified by crafting a multitude of futures based on the effects of decisions that create an entirely unique timeline, arising from those disparate decisions. Each individual choice creates a new chronological set of outcomes. There is no limit to the choices or futures in this sci-fi theory. In the real world, individual choices produce only one set of outcomes. Our choices have consequences. Poor choices end badly. Wise decisions are often rewarded. Confronting law enforcement while armed is a very poor decision. If you comply, you will not die.

The civil unrest in Minneapolis is driven by several factors. Anarchist groups organize with the express goal of destabilizing society. Self-proclaimed social justice warriors see themselves as pursuing a just cause. Misguided individuals that join the mob are nothing more than useful idiots. Minnesota elected officials, suspected to be complicit in the $Billions of Somali fraud, incite violence with their anti-ICE rhetoric, perhaps to deflect further scrutiny into their actions, or lack thereof. So many of these protestors are not protesting an unjust government but simply aiding and abetting corrupt politicians.

Foot soldiers like Renee Good and Alex Pretti are used by the anarchists as pawns, with the strategy to sacrifice them to further their goals and drive public opinion against the rule of law. Did they die for a just cause? Absolutely not! The United States has the right to enforce duly enacted immigration laws. State and local governments have a duty to respect and cooperate with Federal immigration officials. By refusing to cooperate and obstruct ICE, State and local officials violate 18 U.S.C. ss 1501, a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in prison.

The right to peacefully protest is enshrined in the 1^st Amendment. To obstruct or violently protest lawful enforcement actions is not. We are all faced with difficult decisions. Those who follow the law and endeavor to discern God’s will for us will prosper. Those who rely upon their own understanding and deny our Lord and Savior will not. The decision to rebel against worldly authority carries negative consequences to those who choose that path. If you comply, you will not die.

Those virtue signaling liberals, that envision themselves as saving their fellow man, are protecting illegal aliens whose only contributions to society are committing criminal acts and increasing the national debt. We are witnessing the fall of the western world as elitist liberals elect leftist democrats to office so they can stand by and fiddle while Rome burns. Any reasonable person understands that the actions of the left, if allowed to fester, will overwhelm and destroy civil society. Leftists want to destroy this nation and if they ever gain power, they most certainly will. We need look no further than the out-of-control democrat run cities.

Evil is real and is evidenced by the once proud democrat party. It is imperative that good people reject democrats whole heartedly. Democrats that embrace leftist ideology must be voted out of office before they succeed in destroying this nation. Stand idly by, and you just may wake up to a nation you no longer recognize.

Leftist judges pervert justice.

Partisanship or political bias cannot affect any decisions from the judicial branch of government. The Constitution and enacted laws that are deemed constitutional are the only considerations when rendering an opinion. There are three co-equal branches of government, legislative, executive, and judicial. Each is granted limited authority with oversight among them. Since the dawn of Trump, co-equal no longer pertains. Democrats have filed lawsuit after lawsuit, challenging executive actions by President Trump. District court judges are granting themselves broad powers, taking jurisdiction where they have none, and injecting themselves into the political sphere. We first saw this when Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg indicted and convicted Trump on 34 separate felonies related to federal campaign finance laws, in which his office did not have jurisdiction. Perversion of the law continues, unabated.

Without mutual respect and “staying in your lane,” the legislative, executive, and judicial branches cannot co-exist in a manner that the framers intended and will ultimately create a dysfunctional government. The Constitution must be adhered to. Laws must be respected and upheld. Each branch must allow the other to perform their constitutionally authorized duties, without obstruction from the other. This Constitutional Republic will fall if usurpation of authority becomes the norm. Joe Biden usurped the legislative branch’s authority when he forgave $Billions of student loans, even while acknowledging he had no authority to do so. He continued granting loan forgiveness even after the Supreme Court ruled his actions unconstitutional. This cannot become a precedent lest our nation be plunged into an executive branch anarchy, establishing an unrestrained and authoritarian Presidential office.

Radical left-wing judges continue to “order” presidential actions to cease and desist the enforcement of lawful executive orders. This radicalization of judicial actions is not limited to federal judges. In Wisconsin, a circuit judge in a liberal county, overturned Act 10, a law upheld by the Wisconsin Supreme Court a decade ago. Not only did this judge lack jurisdiction, the “new” liberal majority of the Wisconsin Supreme Court accepted the case and will re-rule on the constitutionality of the law. On April 1^st Wisconsin will elect a new Supreme Court Justice and either the liberals will maintain their 4-3 majority or conservatives will regain the majority after the ballots are tabulated. Even if the conservative prevails, the liberal majority will move to strike down Act 10, which turned a $3.5 Billion deficit into a $4 Billion surplus, before a new conservative justice is seated. Partisanship run amok!

The last Wisconsin Supreme Court race saw tens of millions of democrat dollars poured into the coffers of the democrat’s chosen candidate, uber-lefty Janet Protasiewicz. She prevailed in the election, even after declaring Act 10 unconstitutional, Wisconsin’s district maps unfair, criticized voter ID, and stated that she would overturn Wisconsin’s abortion law. Yet, she is now seated on the state’s highest court! If the democrat’s chosen candidate, Susan Crawford, an uber-lefty judge from Dane County, is elected as Supreme Court Justice, insanity from the bench will overcome Wisconsin. Brad Schimel, the conservative in the race, will restore some semblance of rationality to the court. Although Crawford’s ads accuse Schimel of failing to address the backlog of sexual assault kits, Schimel, as Wisconsin Attorney General, instituted a policy that identified and completed the vast majority of all untested rape kits he inherited after he was elected. Democrat carpetbagger AG Josh Kaul ignores his duties to defend Wisconsinites while he chases down lawsuits, many of no benefit to Wisconsin, some where he lacks jurisdiction or standing, with the intent to derail President Trump’s agenda.

Partisanship from the bench, overwhelmingly initiated by radical leftists appointed by democrats, needs to end yesterday. Our nation cannot withstand the judicial assault on our Constitution. We are spiraling down a rabbit hole that leads to the destruction of the rule of law, the very thing that holds the fabric of society together.

Played, definition: Made a fool of, chumped, taken advantage of, when one uses another to benefit themselves, abused. In the White House stood a man that was bucking conventional wisdom and enacting policies that benefited the United States but absolutely enraged the left and democrats. The economy was roaring, unemployment numbers, especially for minorities, were the lowest in our history. Businesses were returning and repatriating their capital here instead of abroad. China was being confronted and their headlong rush to replace the United States as the largest economic and military power in the world was being stymied. The southern border was finally under control and the crime and drug flow across it was beginning to wane. It was apparent that Donald Trump was going to be re-elected. Leftists and democrats absolutely seethed with anger that the “Bad Orange Man”, whom they deemed to be below the status of the office of President and had, not only challenged their status quo, but was actually returning the power back to the people he represented by holding the powerful accountable, was going to be able to torment them for another 4 years from the Oval Office.  Then, a perfect storm was presented to the left when China unleashed the novel coronavirus upon the world.

“Never let a crisis go to waste.” Rahm Emanuel, President Obama’s Chief of Staff and Chicago Mayor famously said. This crisis could not have occurred at a more advantageous time. With holdover Dr. Anthony “Often Wrong” Fauci from the National Institute of Health leading President Trump’s Coronavirus Task Force, a virulent opportunity to derail the nation’s roaring economy presented itself. The words shutdown, essential worker, social distancing, masking and stay at home became integral parts of our vocabulary in order to keep us all safe from a virus that 99.85% of the population would survive and 85% would need a test to find out if they even had it. But it was enough to embolden the left to begin, in earnest, a coordinated strategy to fundamentally change our election process and enable democrats to control national and statewide elections, particularly in the battle ground states of Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada and Pennsylvania. With broad assistance from the “Ministry of truth” in the mainstream media and social media platforms, any and all conservative push back from this unprecedented assault upon our basic freedoms was effectively blocked by "Fact Checkers" and suspending Twitter accounts for "violations of community standards.". In an election unlike any other, enough votes were counted to elect Joe Biden, whose campaign strategy was to basically to hide in his basement and not screw it up. The hatred that the left spewed through the media they controlled convinced enough of the low information voters to send Donald Trump packing. It made no difference that the democrat candidate was largely non-existent during the campaign, anyone but Trump was their rallying cry. Trump’s abrasive style convinced many useful idiots in the Republican party to pull their support from their President, effectively amplifying the left leaning media’s refrain and lifting support for the doddering old man Biden.

President Obama said that elections have consequences and in this case his statement could not ring truer. One of Biden’s first executive orders shutdown the Keystone Pipeline, erasing thousands of jobs, sparking an end to our nation’s foray into energy independence and angered one of our closest allies, Canada. To date, fifty-two executive orders have been signed by President Biden. So much for co-equal branches of government. Not to worry though, each order will be codified into law once the filibuster rule is “amended” by the democrat controlled Senate. One needs to look no further than our border with Mexico to see the humanitarian disaster unfolding there by the reckless termination of President Trump’s policies that had actually stemmed the flow of illegal immigrants entering the US. The breaking of contracts to build the wall and cancelling monies appropriated by Congress to finish the wall, by executive fiat, is likely unconstitutional and is currently being challenged in court.

While the freedoms granted to the citizens of the United States are being eroded and erased by our newly elected leftist government, those who decided that those horrible tweets, insufferable boasts and a President with the audacity to fight back, was too much to handle, are being confronted with the reality that the result of the 2020 election has sent our nation into a downward spiral. This headlong rush to socialism will destroy our nation unless we awaken from our slumber and decide to stand up and oppose the insanity that is the left. The democrat party must be repudiated and sent packing. Democrats must never be allowed to gain power again. They do not stand for the people that elected them as their representatives. We must get involved. We must step out of our comfort zones and do our civic duty and run for local elective offices. This is the only way to defeat the left, to remove them from power by voting them out. Far too long we have stood by and watched common core reduce our children’s test scores below some of those in third world countries. Now, the lie that is Critical race theory, is being added to the curriculum to indoctrinate our children. White privilege is declared as the only reason the “oppressed” are unable to succeed. White Supremacy has become the new boogey man. Local governments are raising taxes and borrowing, rather than considering solutions to streamline and make government more efficient and effective. It is on all of us if we stand by and do nothing. If those who would be leaders in our community decide to hide in the shadows, we will all get what we deserve. If we refuse to stand up to the bullying left and let them indoctrinate our children, we will have no one to blame but the person who looks back at us in the mirror. The time for action is at a crossroads. If we fail, so does our nation and our children will pay the ultimate price.

In a Perfect World.....

In a perfect world there would be no disease, no hunger, no homelessness, no death, no left or right, no wars or conflicts of any kind, we would love and care for each other, but we do not live in a perfect world. Humanity is always looking for the next cure all for society’s ills. As much as we desire that this world would hold no malice toward any of God’s children, we are a broken humanity unable to use our vast knowledge and resources to perfect our earthly home. Although we think that we are at the peak of enlightenment, that humanity has this firm grasp on what ails us, we are not even close to being able to solve some of the simplest problems that we face. Of our own volition, we sputter about pointing blaming fingers at one another when we fail to resolve the myriad of issues that continue to plague us.

While COVID-19 may be the crisis of opportunity for some of us, our efforts to confront this invisible foe have failed miserably. The more data we gather about this novel coronavirus, the more we fail to adapt in the war against this hidden enemy. Granted, the initial response to an unknown disease, with lockdown orders made sense at the time, continued isolation has actually exacerbated the problem. Governor Cuomo of New York stated that more than 66% of the COVID-19 cases were people staying sheltered at home. He further stated that this made no sense to him and he could not understand how this could be. Renowned health expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci in a March interview, very cavalierly stated that wearing a face mask would not protect anyone from this disease. He has since done a 180 and face masks are now recommended and even being required at a growing number of businesses. Other studies show that wearing a face mask may actually increase your risk of infection by recirculating your breath and causing you to rebreathe contaminants.

Democrat leadership is exploiting our irrational fear, stoked by the mainstream media that delightfully provides the running death count, inserting leftist agenda policies into legislation intended to offer assistance to those harmed by the pandemic that may just be the first steps to fundamentally transform this great nation into a socialist state. Initially, the goal of these lockdowns was to “flatten the curve” so that there would not be a large spike in cases that could very well overwhelm our health care system. This plan was accepted by the vast majority of our population, even giving up their treasured Constitutional rights, if it meant giving our nation the ability to cope with this pandemic. What has become lost in the translation is that this strategy was never to eliminate the total infections or deaths, just to spread them out over a longer period and make the treatment and care of the infected manageable. Yes, this approach did not seek to reduce infection or death caused by COVID-19, just give us more time, but this plan has been altered to remain “safe at home” until a vaccine could be produced. SARS and MERS are coronavirus’ without a vaccine. The common cold is a coronavirus without a vaccine. Dr. Fauci has been working on a vaccine for HIV for 40 years without success. There may never be a vaccine developed and even if one is developed, it will not be 100% effective, vaccines never are. The seasonal flu shot is typically 40-60% effective.

We are faced with choices daily that place us in harm’s way. Deaths due to accidents approach 170,000 annually, with over 40,000 of those perishing in auto accidents. Drug overdoses kill over 70,000 people annually in the US. Almost 50,000 people took their own lives last year. In a perfect world, none of these things would happen. In a perfect world we would be safe, secure and happy in all we do. This world will never be perfect. No matter how hard we try, we can never make that a reality. But, there is one perfect place. There is one place where we never grow tired, old or die. There is one place where everyone delights in perfect love and we all can agree, even in our politics. That one place is not on this earth. That one place is prepared for all of God’s children, regardless of our differences. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” All of our questions are forever answered when we believe in God’s one true Son. All of our trials and troubles end with Him. All of our needs, wants and desires are forever granted if only we believe. There is nothing you can do to earn God’s love. There is nothing you can do to make God love you any less. We can’t perfect our world, but God offers perfection. Open your heart to the love that is eternal, unconditional and freely given. Open your heart to the one who died so that you can live, forever with our Father in heaven. Open your heart and be welcomed to the perfect, eternal life that your heart so aches to achieve.

Once Upon a Time

Ronald Reagan said, “Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom, and then lost it, have never known it again.” Once upon a time there was a great city, shining on top of a hill. Once upon a time people asked, “How can we serve our nation?” and not demand, “My nation needs to serve me?” Once upon a time we were told that this nation would never become a socialist country. But, an opportunity has arisen that may destroy that shining city on a hill, create a generation of people dependent upon the government for everything and the reality of living under “democratic socialism” may only be an election away. These great United States may just be on the way to ruin as every other nation that has embraced this failed economic doctrine. This opportunity was not part of the leftist plan to “fundamentally transform our nation”, but any crisis can open that door.

The COVID-19 pandemic is that window of opportunity. The fear of COVID-19, stoked primarily by the mainstream media and the democrat party, has in a few short weeks transformed this great nation into a frightened, huddled mass, willing to give up Constitutional freedoms in exchange for the government keeping us “safe” from this invisible enemy. Many have accepted, without question, what should simply be guidelines, lockdown orders from our State governors. Originally, these “orders” were explained as a way to “flatten the curve” in order that our health system can manage the outbreak and not be overwhelmed by the thousands of persons expected to be infected if we failed to use mitigation methods. But, the goalposts continue to be moved. These orders mandate social distancing, wearing masks, washing and disinfecting our hands, counter tops, homes, etc., the closing of “unessential businesses, and to stay at home under penalty of law. And now these orders must remain in effect until the threat is gone and a vaccine is produced. The models that originally predicted 2.2 million deaths have continually been revised downward, more closely mirroring the mortality and infection rate as the seasonal flu, as we continue to collect data on this Novel Coronavirus.

Our fear and complete submission to the authority of the medical experts has created an economic downturn that makes the Great Depression seem like no more than a bump in the road. This economic crisis has in turn created much more devastation than the cost to our investments, lost jobs and closed businesses. Loss of income, loss of physical contact with family, friends and co-workers has led to an uptick in mortality rates, suicidal tendencies, mental disorders, changing eating habits and overuse of tobacco and alcohol products. Hospitals and medical clinics have discontinued in person medical visits and elective surgeries and procedures, leading to patients being denied continuing treatments of pre-existing conditions. And we accepted this on-going quarantine for the good of our nation and citizens.

States with democrat governors have arbitrarily decreed that these stay at home orders and a shutdown of our economy are in the best interest of their citizens, necessary to protect their safety. “If we end the stay at home orders, people will die!’ is their rallying cry. They will do nothing of the sort. The first confirmed case of COVID-19 was identified in Wuhan, China on November 17th, 2019. We now know that the vast majority of COVID-19 infections are asymptomatic, so this initial confirmed case may not be the first. International flights continued out of Wuhan and mainland China until President Trump banned them on January 31st. According to an article from April 4th in the New York Times, approximately 1300 flights and over 400,000 people traveled to the US directly from China, with over 4000 directly from Wuhan, during that time. Not included are those who departed Wuhan and China to other countries and then traveled to the US during that time. There was likely, at least two full months that COVID-19 was in the US and community spread had already begun. In essence, the lockdown of our population that occurred in mid to late March was well into the onset of the pandemic, not, as many would have you believe, before the community spread of the disease had begun.

So, how does a viral pandemic lead us to socialism? Is it such a long stretch to presume that it could be used to initiate a massive shift to an entirely new economic model? Not so much. As our economic downturn continues, democrats in Congress continue to mortgage our future by providing economic incentives to encourage people to rely upon government handouts. No longer are the welfare recipients the only takers, now those who work in non-essential businesses and are not allowed to work receive benefits. Even those who continue to work are eligible and receive those same benefits. Sweetheart deals, or pork as they were once defined, are included in these economic relief packages. Now, if you are fearful of returning to work, don’t worry, the COVID-19 relief package enables you to refuse to return to work and receive upgraded unemployment benefits for an additional 14 weeks. This enables those who refuse to return to work to receive benefits they would normally not qualify to receive. This incentivizes many to refuse to return to their place of employment. Additionally, another $3 trillion package that includes a version of universal income is being proposed by our democrat controlled House of Representatives as further economic relief to those adversely affected by COVID-19. The descent into socialism is already underway.

Should this economic downturn continue and democrats retake the presidency and the Senate, they will ride to the rescue and “fix” the economy by instituting government control of our economy. Corporate taxes will increase, leading to more jobs leaving again as did under former President Obama’s administration. To prevent a future pandemic, a single payer healthcare system would be the first order of business for this new and enlightened government. But, it won’t stop there. Student debt is the next order of business. That means the forgiveness of more than $1.5 trillion in outstanding loans, which leads to free college tuition. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the architect of the Green New Deal, is Joe Biden’s pick to oversee the climate change task force. Forget about a wall or any kind of enforcement of our border with Mexico. Uncle Joe opposes any wall and favors a kinder and gentler immigration policy which includes citizenship for the Dreamers. Sixty years ago Nikita Khrushchev made a prediction that communism and the Soviet Union would “bury” democracy, capitalism, and the United States. “Your children’s children will live under communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright; but we will keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you will finally wake up and find you already have Communism. We will not have to fight you; we will so weaken your economy, until you will fall like overripe fruit into our hands. The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”

The Soviet Union has fallen, but those words ring far too applicable to what we are witnessing first hand. Wake up America, or it will be too late. If we fail to heed these warning signs, visible in plain sight, then the vision of the United States and the freedom it offers, may very well become a fairy tale.

Understanding the Left

While serving the public as a police officer in my former life, I learned two simple truths: Do not argue with or try to reason with a drunk or a mentally ill person. Truth and logic are concepts that they cannot grasp. As I have gotten along in years, and especially in today’s political climate, one other type of individual needs to be added to that list…..today’s progressive liberal. As the leftist agenda has been embraced by today's progressive liberal, they continue to rage against any and all things acceptable in a normal, civil society. From Anti-fa to Occupation to George Soros to the widespread attempt to shutdown conservative speakers on the college campus to Bernie Sanders and the new "democratic socialist" representatives, this new, progressive liberal ideology is falsely and loudly accusing their opponents of perpetrating hate speech, while they actually engage in hate speech and use violence to further their agenda. "Democrat" leaders adhere to the Alinsky tactic of "by any means necessary", using their bully pulpits to malign the President and anything contrary to their ideology. No longer can one reason with this unwavering marginal population, but understanding what their words truly mean can actually be helpful in maintaining one’s sanity. No matter how well versed you are in any subject, you will not be able to convince them of the truth, so don’t even try. Today’s progressive liberal/Leftist will not deviate from their accepted talking points. We need to start a conversation….

I already consider you a hateful, homophobic, woman loathing conservative, so you need to listen to what I have to say and agree fully with it. Your opinion means nothing to me and if you try to disagree with what I believe, I will shout you down and belittle your faith, maleness, whiteness, politics or anything else that I deem offensive.

Health care is a right…..

The constitution, the bill of rights are outdated documents that mean nothing to me. I have been indoctrinated by public schooling that fails to teach the glaring inadequacies of socialism, failures of government run health care and the successes of the free market with its' ability to drive innovation in health care. I get the rest of my information watching CNN, MSNBC and other left wing propaganda outlets. I believe that government run health care will ensure that everyone has the same coverage and pays nothing for it, even though taxing the "rich" will not provide enough money to fund it and will significantly reduce availability. As a democratic socialist, I can make up my own rules as I see fit. You uncultured conservatives have no idea that the founders were nothing but a bunch of white slave owners that were simply too ignorant to understand the complexities of governing, especially now that we are at the pinnacle of enlightenment.

There is systemic racism in our criminal justice system…..

I don’t believe that the welfare state has actually caused horrific economic conditions, broken families and neighborhoods rife with crime. I don’t believe that minorities are herded into the inner city by democrat policies that give them just enough benefits to entice them to continue to vote for democrats that only care that their votes allow democrats to maintain power. I don’t believe that democrat policies have created a disheartened, discouraged and lost generation. I don’t believe that the unjust segregation of minorities, cleverly disguised by democrats as a “war against poverty” has anything to do with blacks committing the vast majority of crimes, logically leading to higher incarceration rates. I believe that white racist cops systematically hunt down unassuming and honest black men engaging in legitimate activities simply because they have nothing better to do than hassle and execute minorities. I also believe that black men will receive a harsher sentence for any crime they are (falsely) accused of, simply due to the color of their skin.

We need comprehensive immigration reform….

We need open borders and a free path to immediate citizenship so that the tired, hungry masses will continue to vote for democrats and take the wealth (and I want my share) from those who actually contribute to society.

Global climate fluctuations have been and will continue to occur over time. Warming and cooling of this planet is cyclical. But, we need a convenient excuse to blame our perception of an iniquity in our economic system in order to find an easy way to redistribute wealth to those who are too selfish and lazy to work for their own success. And by the way, I don’t need to be environmentally conscious, I just need to spout off that you and your SUV are destroying the planet!

Black lives matter and “Hands up don’t shoot”….

You white racists should just shut up and go away. You and your opinion do not matter and I don’t want to hear it. Any talking point that consists of words no longer than 5 letters and can be printed on a sign, even if it is a proven false narrative, works for me if I can get what I want without having to work for it. We can pay for free college, Medicare for all and the "Green New Deal" by making the 1% pay their fair share....

Young people are so gullible. Tell them we can pay for their tuition and forgive their college debt with other people's money and they will support an almost 80 year old socialist who has accomplished nothing in his life, listen to and elect a former bartender without a cogent thought in her head to Congress, and will vote to elect a self proclaimed "social justice warrior" to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.  And we can save the climate with our "Green New Deal". What a bunch of morons! We know better than you and should be the ones who should make decisions for all you lesser intellects, and we'll do so by redistributing "your" wealth to line our own pockets, all the while reducing the quality of everyone else's lives while enriching our own.

The Republicans favor large corporations by enabling them to unjustly take wealth away from the middle class….

I believe that corporations rape the planet and those that live upon it. I believe that corporations steal resources, pollute with impunity and never use their profit to benefit anyone but themselves. I believe the rich have rooms full of money that they refuse to share with those less fortunate than them. I am completely convinced that socialism is the appropriate system to level the playing field. It will not lift anyone out of poverty, but it will bring down the rich to everyone else’s level and distribute what they have earned to those who refuse to make a positive contribution to society. Then I can continue to “attend” college, listen to my anarchist professors, and force the rich to pay for my education and everything else so that I will never have to grow up.

Abortion....You have no right to tell me what to do with my body, or better known as reproductive rights….

Since I do not possess a responsible bone in my body and am too lazy to properly utilize birth control, if I become pregnant, I want to have the autonomy to murder my unborn child, I mean to excise that unviable tissue, even after birth, with impunity. Since I am inherently selfish, abortion is a much more convenient way to dispose of the fruits of my irresponsibility than the daunting task of responsibly raising a child. I am far too enlightened to believe in God and care nothing about the sanctity of life. I want to continue in my selfishness because it is all about me and my self-esteem.

We will only accept what we believe fulfills our ideologic ends. Any and all truth are irrelevant, and we will continue to obfuscate as we see fit. After all, the media will continue to parrot our talking points to cover for us.

Trump engaged in collusion and obstruction....

Holy crap, Mueller let us down. We thought that his partisan band of democrat donating attorneys would drum up enough baseless accusations that we could get rid of this buffoon. Now it looks like the tables have turned. Our criminal conduct may just be discovered and we may the ones frog walked into court. We'll just impeach the "M'fer" to obfuscate our complicity in a fake investigation. Oops, that didn't work out well, especially for Biden. Oh well, we'll just continue to drum up more false accusations and begin hearings on any actions by the President that we disagree with and impeach him again. Our base will love it! If we don't continue with investigation after investigation, some of us better start looking into taking a one-way trip to a country without an extradition agreement with the US.

Judges need to mete out justice and protect those who are oppressed by the tyranny of an unfair economic and legal system....

The Constitution is an outdated document, written by white slave owners and should be disregarded. Judges make law and any conservative laws need to be struck down and eliminated. Rule of law? We don't need no stinking rule of law, our appointed and elected judges make decisions based on leftist ideology, not the law, and you will simply have to suffer the consequences. See Sotomayor. 

We cannot impose a religious test.....

Now that the democrats have a majority in the House of Representatives, they also chair all the House committees. No longer is it deemed necessary to end the swearing in of witnesses with that troublesome phrase, "So help me God" as God is not a part of our religion of big government, global warming and isn't appropriate for the global citizens we liken ourselves to be. It doesn't matter that our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian beliefs. Faith in anything other than what we believe is irrelevant. Take your God and don't bother us with your knuckle dragging homophobia, Islamaphobia and any other phobias we invent to describe those we disagree with in order to belittle our opponents.

We must stay at home to protect lives.....

Thank you China! We have finally found a way to crash the economy with the threat of a invisible virus. We really don't care how many die, but this gives us the means to finally get rid of the Bad Orange Man. The upcoming depression will make it easier to promote our socialist programs, setting us on a path to full blown socialism. Free everything. Take all the rich fat cat's money and spread it out. Open borders. We will have a democrat majority forever, if we don't completely destroy the country....Oh well, at least we will be in charge, not those evil Republicans and their stupid ideas of personal responsibility and the freedom to choose to make for yourself a better life with hard work and determination.

The Land of Confusion

“There will be strange things happening to the sun, the moon, and the stars. On earth whole countries will be in despair, afraid of the roar of the sea and the raging tides. People will faint from fear as they wait for what is coming over the whole earth, for the powers in space will be driven from their courses. Then the Son of Man will appear, coming in a cloud with great power and glory. When these things begin to happen, stand up and raise your heads, because your salvation is near.” Luke 21:25-28

In these verses Jesus describes the day of His coming, the day of judgement. Confusion similarly reigns today, not only in our nation, but worldwide. Ideological differences confuse and paralyze our government and threaten the very fabric of our nation. Governmental agencies are used to target political enemies and political leaders use fractured and false testimony against those they disagree. More and more seem confused about their gender identity when selfishness and progressive ideology persuade them to abandon their biological reality. Confusing and conflicting religious doctrines are acclaimed by “progressive churches”. Many of the world’s religions are overtaken by radical factions that twist the intentions of their founders, spreading death and destruction in the name of their god. Far too many of God’s “churches” are preaching a gospel unrecognizable from that which our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ taught. Even worse, some of those called to preach the word, reach out against the very God they have pledged to serve.

Case in point, ELCA Bishop, Kristen Keumpel shared an article calling the Reverend Franklin Graham’s ministry, Operation Christmas Child (OCC) that prepares shoeboxes with presents and a message about Jesus Christ to impoverished children around the world. The recommended article contains the assertions that "Samaritan’s Purse president Franklin Graham spews ever more hateful rhetoric about immigrants and Muslims" and that Operation Christmas Child is one of the "more toxic forms of charity." She goes on further to recommend that donations be redircted to the ELCA Good Gifts program instead of OCC. Bishop Keumpel’s ire was also directed at the Salvation Army when she retweeted, "A reminder this holiday season that the Salvation Army is a homophobic, transphobic, uncaring, garbage organization." Seems to me that casting stones at legitimate mission outreaches, such at OCC and the Salvation Army, is counterproductive to what is God’s church mission is to the world. I thought we were supposed to be on the same team with a goal to reach the lost, but apparently that is lost to those drowning in the apostasy that is the ELCA. Apparently, Christian organizations that fail to tow the line of the heretical teaching of the ELCA, are to be reviled and rejected.

What do we tell the world when those who dedicate their lives to Christ become enamored of the world? When Christ becomes secondary in the church’s teaching to diversity, homosexuality, abortion rights, transgenderism, borders, gun control, and any and all leftist goals and programs, it ceases being God’s church. I’m sorry, but if a church is so inclined to abandon their core beliefs in order to be more welcoming, diverse and tolerant, it is no longer performing the functions that our Lord and Savior intended. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

There is one thing lacking in these progressive churches that is all too apparent. Jesus Christ is simply an afterthought within the walls of many of the ELCA churches. There is far more emphasis on virtue signaling to an already lost world. Without our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the world spirals into disarray and chaos. Without our Lord and Savior, our great nation and its’ founding are at risk to the progressive, leftist agenda that seeks to replace our God with ever burgeoning government overreach. Without our Lord and Savior, we fall back into our selfish nature and society suffers as a result. Without our Lord and Savior to guide us, we lose our way, scurrying about like roaches in the light.

We are at a crossroads in this day and age. The progressive left is taking over God’s church. The progressive left is taking over the democrat party. The progressive left is taking over academia and the media. The progressive left is advocating for a global form of government. The progressive left has the same agenda as the prince of darkness and if we sit by idly, more and more will be lost to him. The time has long past for good Christians to rise up and speak out for our God. It is not too late to stem the tide if God’s good people decide to “go and make disciples of all nations” by proclaiming His Word to everyone. Let the world see that you are a disciple of Jesus Christ by not only your actions, but by your words.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand. The Fall of the Fourth Estate

The Fourth Estate is a term that frames the news media both in its’ clear power of advocacy and tacit ability to illuminate political issues. Though not formally established as a part of the political system, it can exert considerable influence upon society. The First Amendment rights afforded the press is indeed, a sacred privilege, imbedded into our Constitution as a check and balance that empowers the press and provides a process to assure that political leaders are held accountable to the people. The framers of our Constitution did not intend that the press become an arbiter for any particular political party. All were to be held to account regardless of their political affiliation. Unfortunately, the mainstream media has devolved to consider their advocacy as all important as they fill the airwaves with opinionated news analysis replete with their political biases.

Proper journalism should always endeavor to seek the truth, act in the public interest and minimize harm. Journalists have an obligation to seek out that truth and report it as accurately as possible. Journalists should also corroborate any information with multiple sources. Journalists should avoid taking political sides and should not act on behalf of any special interest groups. Any political affiliations or other conflicts of interest should be declared and properly acknowledged. Objectivity is paramount and the reporter should remain fair and balanced, making certain to uphold and protect the public interest. In addition to being independent, journalists should show impartiality and balance in their reporting. Unfortunately, today’s mainstream media does nothing of the sort. They misrepresent their role and simply become a cheerleading team, championing the goals of the left, all the while abandoning their responsibility to themselves and the public.

The Fox News moniker proudly proclaims its’ “fair and balanced” news coverage, but the majority of their news casts are partisan and conservative. But, Fox News is greatly outnumbered by the vast mainstream media outlets that continually lean far to the left. ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC the Washington Post and the New York Times continually promote their goal to overturn President Trump’s election by any means necessary and to ultimately defeat conservativism, apparently at any and all costs. They openly support socialism and decry capitalism, religion, free speech, gun rights and the Constitution in general. They twist their reporting to promote a narrative that often ranges far from the truth. In their ivory towers, particularly on the east and west coasts, they obviously do not understand mainstream America. There is good reason that newspapers are dying and that the mainstream media is not trusted. Mainstream media reporting has simply transformed into editorials tainted with opinion, often disregarding the actual facts of the matter.

An article in the Washington Free Beacon illustrates just how out of touch the mainstream media is. “New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet said it's "odd" to be called a member of the elite, but he acknowledged journalists must do more to understand religion. We have to do a much better job … understanding some of the forces that drive people in parts of America that maybe are not as powerful as New York or Los Angeles," Baquet said on NBC's Meet the Press. "We have to do a better job covering religion. We have to do a better job understanding why some people support Donald Trump." This “matter of fact” statement demonstrates just how “siloed” the media has become. They truly do not understand how this nation was founded and continues to function as a democratic republic. They have lost the ability to understand what their role in maintaining an orderly society truly is. They do not understand how harmful to our nation their failure to uphold the public trust by failing to report positive results from President Trump’s administration all the while echoing the negativity and false statements by politicians on the left, asserting those statements as valid and truthful.

As the mainstream media, academia, and the “Deep State” work in concert to undermine our democracy, we have a choice to make. Do we decide that our nation is worthwhile to protect and save, or will we simply remain unengaged and let the chips fall where they may? I, for one, believe in this nation as it was founded and will work my hardest to secure a bright future for our nation and our children. I, for one, will support all candidates that believe as I do with my vote and my donations. I, for one, will do whatever I can to properly inform as many as possible of the dangers to our way of life that the left brings. If we stand by idly and do nothing the left will fundamentally transform this nation and destroy our way of life. The choice is apparent. Are you willing to do your part to save our nation?

Gerrymandering???

Gerrymandering is defined as a process used to manipulate the boundaries of an electoral constituency so as to favor one party.

Redistricting is the process by which new congressional and state legislative district boundaries are drawn. District lines are redrawn every 10 years after the United States census is completed. The federal government requires that districts must have nearly equal populations and must not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity. In Wisconsin, the Legislature is responsible to set the district maps. These maps have been a point of contention between Democrats and Republicans for over 50 years as each party has used the courts to protest the party in power’s redrawing of district boundary lines.

Now we hear the impassioned cries of the left: “Gerrymandering is wrong.” “Gerrymandering is not fair.” “Gerrymandering is not the will of the people.” “Gerrymandering is used by the Republicans to cram Democrats into smaller, more disbursed districts that isolated them into smaller voting blocs.” These complaints, are not just simply a false narrative, they are inherently self-serving. In Wisconsin, we do not have the benefit of an electoral college for our statewide elected offices. In Wisconsin, the voting populace chooses the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General and Treasurer by popular vote. Our most populated regions can drive that narrative, as they have sufficient voting power to impose their will upon the entire state to elect those offices. Wisconsin elects its representatives in the State Assembly and Senate in a different manner. District lines are drawn to properly represent different geographic regions, by population, throughout the state. Wisconsinites living in rural districts have needs and concerns that may not be on the agenda of the more heavily urban areas. The State Assembly and Senate are elected as a check and balance to the power of the office of Governor and to represent those citizens and issues that affect those communities.

So, what would we need to do to create more fair and balanced voting districts in the State of Wisconsin cited as necessary by the left? How do we create a system that is fair and equitable and accurately represents the will of the people by equalizing the voting power of the left and the right? Almost one third of our population resides in two counties, Milwaukee and Dane, in an area less than 1/26th of the State. Continuing to organize as geographic districts is no longer plausible in order to achieve the effect advocated for by the left. Milwaukee and Madison would need to have portions of their populations carved out and placed into other districts throughout the State, to “equalize” the voting power. Even though the left declares otherwise, Democrats have not been forced by Republicans to “cram themselves into smaller geographic areas that isolated them into smaller voting blocs”. Many Democrats have simply chosen to live in predominately urban areas that have concentrated populations. The left’s “fairer” allocation of voting blocs would give urban areas the unrestrained ability to elect those with similar views and values, especially if those districts were drawn to encompass a greater population of those urban regions. The issues that are important to your geographic community may become an afterthought to those who control the vote, since they will not be personally affected by those decisions.

Historic changes to district lines are subtle to the naked eye and the basic design has changed little as each party in power has chosen to redrawn them. While there are a few districts that have boundaries that tend to favor one party over another, making district boundaries that will make it “fair” enough for the left are not physically possible. The left is not advocating for the elimination of gerrymandering, they are simply attempting to tilt the scales in their favor. In actuality, the left is attempting to impose their own form of gerrymandering. If the left gets their way and eliminates geographic districting, everyone else in the State will be marginalized and Milwaukee and Madison will be able to effectively control the narrative, enact the policies they want, and leave the rest of us behind. The system in place allows everyone to have a proper voice in how our State government is run. Don’t fall for the left’s design to create a Wisconsin in their own image.

Commonality

Much of human history has involved being able to find common ground and compromise. Conflict begins when we cannot come to terms. As children we beg our parents for that extra piece of pie, to stay up past our bedtime “for just 10 more minutes” and to the number of chores we are assigned. As we age, the stakes may be higher, but negotiations continue in an effort to obtain those things we want. Legislation is passed with each side of the political aisle cooperatively bargaining in order to achieve a common goal that ultimately benefits both sides and the public at large. Today, our political dialogue has devolved into nothing more than an increasingly negative rhetoric, escalating into hateful and demeaning memes posted on social media, directed at those with opinions different than their own. The rise of the leftist agenda and the embracing of those ideals by academia, the media and the Democrat party are first and foremost in driving the decline of our political discourse. Those institutions attempt to cast the blame upon the rise of conservative talk radio for our ever increasing political divide. That is far from the truth.

This embrace of the leftist ideology has driven us to the place we now find ourselves. Since the birth of our nation, conservatives and liberals have had common goals. Our disagreements centered on the methods used to attain those goals. All can agree on the goal to eradicate poverty. Liberals favor the big government welfare state and trickle up economics. Conservatives want to provide our economy the tools necessary to produce wealth, facilitate the environment necessary for those that are able, to enter the workforce so that they can create their own wealth and contribute to society, rather than simply take. Both agree that those who cannot work and need assistance should receive it. The left does not want to end poverty. The left wants to tear down our economic system and replace it with total government control. Those who have amassed wealth will have it taken away and redistributed to the masses. The left does not share a common goal with the vast majority of Americans.

The Green New Deal proposed by freshman Congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, is painstakingly impracticable and unattainable. Yet, the declared Democrat presidential candidates (Corey Booker, Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand, and others) agree that they could support this policy. The Democrats are leaning more and more toward the leftist concept of no borders that allow unfettered immigration with its’ inherent problems, such as drugs, criminals, terrorists, and diseases entering the country uncontrolled. Allowing this to occur is the true immoral action. The Democrats ever increasing support for socialism is rising from the shadows and being bandied about by all their declared candidates for president. Tolerating the murder of unborn children up to and apparently after birth, is touted as important to maintain a woman’s control of her body. This is reprehensible conduct that is simply government approved homicide. The normalization of same sex relationships has long garnered support from the left and has rightly occurred. Any person acting in a lawful manner should never be ostracized or reviled. This is not enough for the radical left, as the same sex relationship has expanded to include other behaviors including the attempt to normalize transgenderism, or what should be classified as a mental disease. These are but a few examples of the leftward lean of the Democrat party.

Shortly before President Obama was elected, he stated that the fundamental transformation of this country was days away. We are watching as it unfolds right before our eyes. As with the radical Muslims that want nothing more than to destroy our society, so does the left. Anarchists, such as Anti-fa, Black lives matter and the occupation movement, are apparently supported by the Democrat party, as evidenced by their silence and failure to condemn their behavior. The United States will not be conquered by an invading army. The United States will not be destroyed by bombs and bullets. The United States will fall from within, as more and more leftists gain more and more power. The media and academia have been brainwashing our population for decades now and it apparently is beginning to have the desired effect. Many millennials believe that socialism is the cure to capitalism, imagining that it will create a more equal society. It will do nothing of the sort. Socialism is the great equalizer, tearing down everyone, so that everyone suffers the same misery, except for those that lead. For those who are too lazy or complacent, content to let others determine our fate, our entire way of life stands in the balance. For those of you that do not take your responsibility to properly inform yourselves and to say no to this plague that is descending upon us, and stop it at the ballot box, you will wake up one day and find that the country that you love and cherish is gone. Allowing these leftists to gain power will take us where every other socialist country has ended, in ruin. It is imperative that we take our responsibility seriously and fight against this disease that is the left. Our way of life is in the balance. What will you do to protect those you love?
