Loyal Opposition

 

The key to a functional democracy.

Per the Mirriam-Webster dictionary; a minority party especially in a legislative body whose opposition to the party in power is constructive, responsible, and bounded by loyalty to fundamental interests and principles. A well-fortified minority will tend to improve legislative debate and can become a genuine loyal opposition.

·         Minority Party

Even though they seem to have failed to grasp this fact, democrats are the minority party and as such, they need work with the majority in order to legitimately govern in the United States Congress. The minority cannot pass any legislative bills without votes from the majority party. They do not hold leadership positions in either the House or Senate. They do not chair any committees. Any legislation desired by democrats must first be approved and moved to the floor for debate by the majority leader. Although the legacy media amplifies democrat denunciations, they do so with the realization that democrats are powerless to impose their will due to their minority standing. This is how a Constitutional Republic is supposed to function. As Barack Obama famously declared, “Elections have consequences.”

·         Opposition Party

Democrats certainly do check the opposition box, as they obstruct the majority party, and vehemently oppose any policy actions brought forward by the administration. With lawsuits filed before hand-picked radical leftist judges they attempt to derail the administration’s agenda. Under the umbrella of the democrat party, their allies organize protests, disrupt Congressional member’s town halls, and foment violence against their “enemies.” Democrat leaders, not only fail to denounce the violence, but they also attempt to justify these unlawful actions. Democrats have become the bitter clingers as Obama accused conservatives. They cling to their strawman arguments, condemning the 1%, accusing others of being existential threats to democracy that they themselves have become, and worshiping at the altar of government largesse.

·         Constructive

They refuse to engage in any meaningful, bipartisan, or constructive debate to conduct the people’s business, instead, consistently with explicit rancor, condemn their counterparts, accusing them of the very behavior they themselves engage in. Democrats erect a virtual wall between themselves and any semblance of bipartisanship, chastising their own if they dare to challenge their chosen narrative. Denouncing policies that a vast majority of the populace supports leaves the democrats on an island. They continue to support leftist ideology that is soundly rejected by their constituency. Democrats criticize DOGE and Elon Musk when waste, fraud, and inefficiencies are exposed, choosing to protect their public sector union benefactors rather than the taxpayers they are charged to represent. As always, the people are on the short end of this bargain.

·         Responsible

Democrats have exchanged responsible actions with reprehensible behavior. They shout blatant lies from the mountaintops, from declaring MAGA an existential threat to democracy to Elon Musk is stealing Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid from you. Pushing a false narrative has never hampered democrats if those lies further their quest for money and power. We have witnessed the weak-minded individuals that have lashed out in violence in response to democrat lies.

·         Loyal

Democrat loyalty remains with the leftist ideology that they still believe is the best option to remain in and regain power. They willfully ignore the Constitution by manipulating voting rules, immigration laws, and continue to engage in lawfare, using rogue, leftist judges to hamstring the duly elected President’s, and by virtue of his election, the people’s agenda.

·         Well-fortified minority

Democrats are fortified by money from left wing organizations and the usual suspects, George Soros, Reid Hoffman, and their ilk. ActBlue, NGO’s, and non-profits launder money and provide cover for democrat illegal campaign fund raising, while furthering illegal immigration schemes, voter fraud, and other leftist goals.

·         Fundamental interests and principals

Democrats are fundamentally opposed to whatever gets in the way of their own self-interests, including their constituency. Their principals have devolved into unconditional support for transgenderism, illegal immigration, and stopping Trump by any means necessary. Opposition to school choice, when public schools are failing miserably, is evidence that their teacher’s union benefactors are paramount in their decision making.

·         Improve legislative debate

Debate in Congress has devolved into shouting matches, derogatory accusations, and downright disruptive behavior by democrats.

Democrats have proven that they have totally disregarded their duty as the loyal opposition and have become merely a conduit for leftist ideology. Democrats will burn the country down if it means they can regain power and rule over the ashes. The democrat party has lost support, exponentially as they are viewed as an obstructive body. In a recent poll, less than 50% of democrats support their own party. Democrats need to be marginalized until such a time as they choose to moderate their extreme positions. If they fail to do so, they need to be voted out of office, wholesale.

 

 

Fiddling While Rome Burns

 

Too busy to care.

It wasn’t curiosity that killed the cat, it was apathy. The Roman Empire did not fall in a day. Years of indifference took a toll. If you do not pay attention, those who fill in the void will prevail. Too preoccupied to pay attention to your civic responsibility? Too busy to properly inform yourself of the issues that matter? Unconcerned with the evil that is overwhelming our culture? Actions, or in this case, the lack thereof, cedes our nation to those who strive to fundamentally transform America, a transformation that will ultimately lead to the demise of this Constitutional Republic. This nation is on a path that will make it unrecognizable less than 250 years after its’ founding. This is happening right in front of our noses, yet too few pay attention. Unfortunately, when they finally realize the clear and present danger presented by the left, it may be too late and America will be lost, perhaps forever. Nice work!

Democrats scream bloody murder, no pun intended, when the Supreme Court strikes down Roe V Wade and sends abortion back to the individual states. Democrat Attorney General Josh Kaul sues the legislature over the “obsolete” 1849 Statute that abolishes abortion when it becomes the law of the land in Wisconsin. Two referenda on the ballot on August 13^th sought to return shared authority for the distribution of emergency federal funding to both the legislature and governor. The legislature ceded the sole authority to the Governor in the 1930’s, when it was, due to transportation issues, difficult to get the legislature back to the Capitol in a timely manner to address emergencies. As you may know, transportation today is much more efficient and the legislature can convene in a manner of hours, if necessary, rendering that argument obsolete. Unlike the 1849 abortion law, democrats were fine with an obsolete law that rested the sole authority to manage Billions of federal dollars to the Governor, or at least until a Republican Governor takes office.

I must say that the Democrats and their allies did an excellent job “messaging” flat out lies in ads leading up to the election. They accused “extreme MAGA Republicans” for attempting to wrest power from the people. They argued that it would create an unnecessary burden and delay for those awaiting relief. Really? For those of you who did not see fit to properly inform yourself and were fooled into voting “NO,” you actually voted against your own self-interest. Nice work! These referenda would have given joint authority to the people’s representatives and the Governor to decide where and to who these monies would be allocated, which is exactly how state government is supposed to work. By rejecting these referenda, the citizens have ceded that authority to one person and crowned that person a King. You have, in fact, enabled tyranny and denied authority to the very people you elected to represent your interests at the state level.

Give them what they want, they will get what they deserve. As Rush Limbaugh postulated about the “Low information voter (LIV) theory that too many in the voting population cast their ballots without the requisite information necessary to make an informed decision.” As former President Barack Obama once said, “Elections have consequences.” It would seem that both are correct.

You do not matter to the elite!

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Sir Isaac Newton. Most that are in tune with and report that global events are following a pre-determined path, are decried as “conspiracy theorists” or worse. Yet, train derailments have become much too commonplace in the US. Food processing plants go up in flames. Essential infrastructure that is responsible for filling the shelves at supermarkets are spinning their wheels, unable to provide the essentials to the nation. Ocean going shipping grinds to a halt as ships remain at sea, unable to be unloaded in ports. Coincidental? I think not.

“We don’t need the vast majority of the population. Human beings should be replaced by machines whenever possible. People are just no longer useful to the global elite and their agenda.” Yuval Noah Harari. Self-appointed ruling elites fly their private jets to Davos, Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum, then virtue-signal with their “carbon off-set” purchases that assuage their guilt for burning tons of fossil fuels. Yet, those elites consider most of the population as expendable, uneducated rubes that waste the world’s resources. They “believe” that they are righteously fighting “man-made” climate change. Sustainability is being used to de-populate the planet. Reduce food sources, reduce the yields of our farms, reduce the population. Outgoing climate czar John Kerry called on climate activists to be more militant, and they have obeyed. They are using young people to debase our nation to ensure that the little people will not partake in their new world order. This is their religion and you and I are in their way of their vision of Utopia.

“Science can flourish only in an atmosphere of free speech.” Albert Einstein.  Free speech has been reconceived as what is acceptable to the ruling party. Particularly in the scientific field, there is to be no more dissent on the chosen narrative. Any deviation from “settled” science is not just discouraged, but subject to penalties. Look no further than the COVID narrative. Fail to comply with the military mandate to be injected with an experimental drug, face dishonorable discharge. Airline pilots, medical personnel, first responders, and so many others that were denied a religious exemption that lost their livelihoods. Vaccine skeptics were attacked, ridiculed, and accused of murdering grandma. Government misinformation and disinformation determined predominantly by unelected bureaucrats, big tech, and enforced by the FBI that manipulated social media companies to violate the 1^st Amendment rights of those who failed to tow the government’s narrative.

“A nation that is afraid to let its’ people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its’ people.” John F. Kennedy. The Biden administration admonishes its’ political opponents, effectively villainizing half of the nation that they have pledged to serve. As the left has continually and falsely proclaimed of the danger to democracy that conservatives present, policies that open our sovereign borders, abdicate our role as leaders in the world, spend us into oblivion, and relinquish our nation’s ability to be energy independent, is the real threat to our Constitutional Republic. A government that supports the murder of unborn children, mandates diversity, equity, and inclusion that accelerates a headlong rush to indoctrinate our children with a perverted interpretation of human sexuality, and advocates against law enforcement, while weaponizing the Department of Justice against its’ political opponents, is no government at all.

Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn, members of the Weather Underground in the 1960’s are now spewing their hatred of our nation in academia. Barack Obama, a former community organizer in Chicago, kicked off his foray into politics in Ayers and Dohrn’s living room. Former San Francisco District Attorney, Chesa Boudin, was raised by Ayers and Dohrn after his radical parents were convicted of armed robbery and murder during a Weather Underground attempted heist of an armored car. George Soros, a currency manipulator who has destabilized countries worldwide, uses his wealth to support and elect leftist soft-on-crime DA’s in liberal cities in an effort to create chaos in those communities. He has been very successful in his endeavor. And, the democrat party embraces this turmoil. Who is the real danger to democracy?

If democrats retain the White House and the Senate, our headlong rush toward socialism will continue unabated. We will find ourselves under the globalist’s thumb and our freedoms will continue to erode. Without pushback, the Deep State will inevitably control every aspect of our lives. We the people will lose our representative government and be lorded over by those who could care less about you. It may seem to be hyperbole, but 2024 could very well be the end of our nation as it was founded.

God was very intentional when He created you. Your talents, your abilities, and your intellect are the tools that enable us to ascertain the difference between right and wrong. The Bible contains the truths necessary to ascertain His will. We are His hands and feet here on earth. We can make a difference in the world, by planting those seeds that the Holy Spirit can nurture and grow. Or, we can stand by idly an let the evil one win. It is your decision. Simply said, the democrat party is advocating for the fall of this nation with policies that are inherently evil. The democrat party, as comprised today, must be voted out of power, and be marginalized. Allowing them to maintain power will lead to the end of this once great nation. Will you stand idly by while evil overtakes our society or will you decide to do something about it by standing strong for your faith?

It’s God’s timing, not yours

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 This is the charge to parents as they raise their children and help them formulate their faith, values, and morals. As leftist ideology replaces traditional learning in public education, our nation is running the risk of creating a generation of indoctrinated youth. Diversity, inclusion, and equity (DEI) curricula place more emphasis on social engineering than mathematics, science and reading. The precipitous decline of United States standardized testing is clear evidence that it has adversely affected the competency of our students. If instilled early enough, the tenets of Critical Race Theory, (CRT) transgenderism, social and climate justice will be ingrained into our youth’s belief systems. Children are particularly vulnerable to suggestion and are innate learners, trusting implicitly those charged to teach and train them. Just as computers utilize only information that is inputted, children are an open book waiting for the proper instruction to formulate how they will approach their futures.

And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These words I am commanding you today are to be upon your hearts.  And you shall teach them diligently to your children and speak of them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as reminders on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Deuteronomy 6:5-8 This is critical guidance for parents. Parents have a duty to make certain that their children follow the narrow path and are not led astray. If parents allow the State to usurp their authority and instill values contrary to their own, they have failed in their responsibility to, not only their children but to God.

The intrusion of government into the affairs of the populace has been deliberately amplified for decades. When Barack Obama ascended to the Presidency, it was intensified ten-fold. His strategy of promoting race and class division in our society is textbook leftist ideology. While we had a brief respite from the headlong rush to redefine our nation when Donald Trump was elected, it has gone into hyperdrive after the election of Joe Biden. One of Biden’s first executive orders was to integrate DEI into all government agencies and have it trickle down to businesses and education. It has been extraordinarily effective. As we go about our busy lives, blissfully unaware of this destructive mandate, we allow our children to be manipulated by this malicious scheme. DEI promotes gender, race, and inclusion, discounting merit and ability, and advancing individuals less qualified for those positions. This will eventually lead to less qualified doctors, military, airline pilots, plumbers, electricians, and on and on, diminishing society.  

How long, Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, “Violence!” but you do not save? Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrongdoing? Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and conflict abounds. Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted. Habakkuk 1:2-4 Have you ever just cried out to God? Know this, He hears all our laments. He hears our pleas for justice. He hears our cries of pain and despair. Prayer takes many forms and God listens and answers them all. Our time and expectations are not God’s though. Even in the Old Testament times, God answered His people in His own time. Prayer, when sincere and God-centered, will be answered. Some prayers are answered before we even realize that we have the need or before we ask.

Our time, our talents, and our resources are given to us to use to give God the glory. We are often given the tools to right those wrongs or heal those infirmities before we even recognize the deficiency in our lives. For healing, God provides the medical community. For the fight against evil, God provides our church community and His Word. The spiritual armor that God provides gives us the wherewithal to stand up to the evil that seems to have overtaken this world. Often, we can become the answer to prayer if we relinquish control and allow Him to rule our lives.

In our faith community, we have the spiritual resources to help guide our lives. As parents, we can surrender to God and gain the strength to stand up to the forces that seek to destroy faith and family. With God’s help, we can take back our nation and be instrumental in returning this nation back to Him. With faith in God, anything can be accomplished. Throughout time, God has used His people as instruments to accomplish His will. Divine intervention can be God tapping you on the shoulder to act on His behalf. It is not too late if we choose to act now. Stand strong in the Lord and refuse to acquiesce to the evil that has become so pervasive in our world. Evil may seem to have won today’s battle, but we know who ultimately wins this war. 

In Plain Sight

 Woke policies DEI (Diversity, equity, and inclusion) and ESG (Environmental, social, and governance) are driving our society, economy, and nation over a cliff.

On June 21^st, 2021, President Biden signed an Executive order on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the federal workforce. The last sentence in the third paragraph states, “A growing body of evidence demonstrates that diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible workplaces yield higher-performing organizations.” There were no citations to any study that confirmed this claim, and for good reason. Current studies simply “suggest” that companies that implement DEI policies have increased productivity. Additionally, these “studies” originate from the usual liberal think tanks and woke universities. As with many of the talking points of the Democrat party, there is no real conclusive data to confirm their claims, only empty rhetoric. This divisive policy, not unlike Critical Race Theory, intends to segregate federal employees and candidates by race, gender, and sexual orientation. This executive orders’ intent is to reinstate affirmative action and discriminate against the scariest boogeyman of the left, the straight, white male, or what is commonly referred to as “white privilege.”

Section 2.a. states, “The term “underserved communities” refers to populations sharing a particular characteristic, as well as geographic communities, who have been systematically denied a full opportunity to participate in aspects of economic, social, and civic life.” If anyone in the United States, other than convicted criminals serving their sentences, have been denied a “full opportunity to participate in aspects of economic, social and civic life” please raise your hands. Here, in the land of opportunity, no one, yes no one is denied the opportunity to fully participate in society, should one have the drive and ambition to succeed. For the President of the United States to infer that certain “classes” of people cannot succeed, with the false presumption that their path is blocked by “systemic bias,” is disrespectful and disingenuous. Even Barack Obama stated that it did not matter where you began or what you look like, anyone can find success with hard work and determination. Unfortunately, President Biden and his cohorts in the Democrat party believe that “systematically disadvantaged persons,” or persons of color, are inherently inferior and require the government’s assistance just to survive. This executive order is a lie that panders a false narrative and as with most of the Democrat agenda, strives to achieve results that benefit the Democrat party and their benefactors, not the people they purport to represent.

ESG is another insidious attack on the fabric of Western society. These policies force companies to adhere to rules that place emphasis on making investments based upon a set of goals relating to climate, not strategically investing in profitable business, and meeting constantly changing social requirements in hiring and HR practices, which are all monitored and enforced by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. This makes it difficult, if not impossible to maintain their fiduciary responsibilities to their clients and shareholders. These actions, which detract from the success of the businesses, will lead to less effective and profitable investments, hiring and retaining inferior and potentially ineffective staff, based on a set of standards that reflect diversity, not merit, and hiring of additional staff to ensure that these standards are met as they will be audited regularly by the Federal government. Our economy is being forced to evolve into a government-regulated business model at the cost of a free market, profit-driven, successful model. If you think this sounds like socialism, you would be correct. Businesses that are deemed insufficient to these rules or fail to properly submit to the authorities, even if the "offense" is a statement deemed "inappropriate" by the SEC, may be fined. These fines can be levied in the $millions. Banks are held to the same standards, and non-compliant businesses will be denied loans. Try to run a business without a line of credit. Not going to happen. Our once thriving economy based upon a “meritocracy” is ceasing to exist.

This apparent underclass which is disproportionally affected by everything ranging from HIV to menthol cigarettes, is the perpetually cited victim of the Democrats in their class warfare strategy. When President Lyndon B. Johnson initiated the “war on poverty,” even he could not have foreseen the unintended consequences that have actually disproportionally affected the African-American community. Like the drug pusher giving free heroin to potential users, the welfare state induced generations to abandon the traditional nuclear family and depend upon government programs. Even President Franklin Roosevelt said that government assistance could become like a narcotic. Sixty years later FDR has been proven prophetic. Now Democrats promote the lunacy of driving the economy from the bottom up and the middle out. This is nothing but socialism in a poorly designed disguise. Initiating their insane monetary policies has led to government overreach and soaring inflation. Is that really a fair tradeoff for ending the mean tweets and “unpresidential” behavior? Who really is the threat to democracy?

The wokeness that is overtaking sanity in our nation is primarily driven by the Democrat party, a complicit media, and the leftists hungry to fundamentally transform this great nation. The headlong rush to affirm preferred pronouns and boys wanting to be girls is in direct correlation with the left’s desire to tear down civil society. Edicts arising from executive actions, bureaucratic regulations promulgated by entrenched bureaucrats, and governmental enforcement of “wokeness” are hindering our economy at home and damaging the US brand worldwide. We have met the enemy and it is us. China need not bury us economically or militarily. We are doing it to ourselves and far too few of us are lifting a finger to show disapproval. Russia will not need to launch a single missile to defeat us. Patience is the key as they laugh at the lunacy that is destroying the greatest country in the history of the world from within. And we are too “busy” with our own problems to confront this enemy within. Surely someone else will get involved and fight back. If we fail to confront this insanity, then it’s on us. How will you explain to future generations why we failed to defeat or even expose the evil, happening in plain sight, that ultimately destroyed this great experiment called America?

 

Bitter Harvest

Unfortunately, Obama’s pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright was prophetic with his “the chickens have come home to roost” rant. They have indeed. The ideology of the left; white supremacy is rampant and a clear and present danger; that every problem in this nation is caused by racism and reparations are warranted; “My body, my choice” or what is actually abortion on demand; pursue the myth of toxic masculinity to villainize men; the persistent devaluation of biologic sexuality and the normalization of (homosexual/transexual/pansexual/bisexual and more; the demonization of faith and family; and the utter rejection of God, replaced with glorification of selfishness. Society has been brainwashed to place the blame for our shortcomings on anyone but ourselves. Society has been indoctrinated to believe that we are above our Creator and to accuse believers as ignorant, hateful, and unwelcoming. Society ignores God’s intended plan for humanity and we all suffer the consequences.

Rather than following Jesus’ teaching to love one’s neighbor, we devolve into tribal animals that hate those who think and look different from themselves. Rather than follow the science of biology and embrace our differences, gender is defined as fluid and biological sex is just a social construct of a patriarchal society dominated by privileged white males. Toxic masculinity is shouted from the rooftops without it even being defined. Rather than celebrating the sacred union of one man and one woman in the bonds of marriage in order to produce and raise children, we promote deviant sexual behavior as normal while persuading our children to, not only accept, but to experiment with these practices. Rather than accepting responsibility for our mistakes and learning from them, we look to place blame at everyone but ourselves. If you think the strife and pain occurring in this world is self-incurred, you would be absolutely correct. We have met the enemy, and it is us. Subtract God from the equation and there is no solution.

There is evil in the world and it is high time that we call it out for what it is. We can no longer trust the mainstream media to expose malfeasance or even report honestly and we cannot trust public education to teach truth, as they continue to try to out-woke each other. The task to instill morals and Christian values to the next generation resides with parents and the clergy. We are called to expose the evil that exists and is growing in our society. If we fail to acknowledge the rise of evil, we will be overcome by it. Far too many seek to just go along to get along, not wishing to be looked upon as judgmental. Problem is, evil flourishes when allowed to spread unabated. If we ignore what we know is wrong, it will not go away. It will grow and fester like an infection that goes untreated. Yes, we are called to love our neighbor, but we are also called to “To teach and not be resentful.  To gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance, leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.”

Failure to act is acquiescing to the evil that is creating havoc in our society. Parents are beginning to wake up, but far too many are still asleep at the wheel. Parents need to take an active role in the education of their children by attending all parent-teacher conferences, monitoring and understanding curriculum, teaching methods and confront School Boards that accept the “woke” agenda. Parents must find the time to take back our School Boards and eliminate the cultural rot that far too many school administrations pursue. A whole generation of our children are being indoctrinated to accept these false ideologies. It is far too late to stand back and let the “system” work it out without active participation by Christian parents. The future of our nation stands in the balance.

Pastors that try to strike a balance of acceptance and tolerance by “not going there” place their congregants at risk to the perception that leftist ideology must not be that bad if there is no one calling it out for what it is, evil. Loving your neighbor does not mean that you must accept every action they practice. Plain and simple, abortion is the murder of a preborn child. Transgenderism is the rejection of God by placing one’s desires above God’s will by the worship of oneself. Critical race theory pits one race against another, degrading another person based upon skin color alone. Racism is racism no matter who practices it. The “New World Order” looks to take away your individual rights, granted by God, to be replaced by a cabal of elites that will dictate our lives the way they see fit. This is evil personified and if we cannot have our clergy call out the evil in this world, they will have failed in their calling. Exposing an evil ideology and calling to reject it is not judgmental; it is simply revealing the truth.

Soon, we will reach the point of no return and our nation will fail. The chickens are in flight and the death throes of our nation have already begun. Question is; will you stand up for your God and nation, or will you just sit by and watch the evil one lead our nation and our children into the abyss?

Is this the beginning of OUR end?

Mainstream media leaves no doubt that they have become the mouthpiece of the democrat party and the Left. Chaos is their best friend. When Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed two assailants and wounded another during the August 2020 riots in Kenosha, the lawless mainstream media could not contain themselves. In the United States, one is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The media inflamed the mob after the Jacob Blake shooting by the police in Kenosha, WI in August of 2020. Anti-police rhetoric, false narratives of police brutality and the incessant downplaying of “mostly peaceful protests”, emboldened the mob to engage in rioting, looting and arson. Governor Evers refused to deploy the National Guard and police were ordered to stand down. Lacking an appropriate police presence, left the rioters without tangible consequences and mayhem ensued. Mainstream media continues to encourage anarchy and destruction with their unabashed Leftist rhetoric. There is blood on their hands.

President Biden and a litany of democrats poured additional gasoline (more likely a non-oil-based accelerant) on the fire by declaring their anger at the verdict. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers had the unmitigated gall to make a statement, “No ruling today changes our reality in Wisconsin that we have to work to do toward equity, accountability, and justice that communities across our state are demanding and deserve.” Needless to say, Evers did send troops to Kenosha after the verdict was announced. Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor and US Senate candidate Mandela Barnes went further. “We have seen so many black and brown youth killed, only to be put on trial posthumously, while the innocence of Kyle Rittenhouse was virtually demanded by the judge.” This unabated anger mongering by elected officials is only meant to encourage further division and hatred. The rioting in 2020 has led to 25 deaths, over 2,000 police officers injured and $billions in property destruction. Our former divider in chief, Barack Obama issued numerous statements decrying police brutality and unfair targeting of persons of color by “white” society. This helped facilitate the rise of the Occupy movement, Antifa, Black lives matter and increased violence against police. As police are ordered to stand down and progressive District Attorneys refuse to criminally charge the rioters, the mob is further emboldened.

Kyle Rittenhouse, came to Kenosha Wisconsin to help protect property after a call to action was posted on social media, joining other citizens to augment the lack of police intervention. He armed himself with an AR-14, equipped himself with medical supplies to tend to any injured and was cleaning up graffiti. Should he have been there? Did he exhibit poor judgement by placing himself at risk? Did he really consider the consequences of his actions? Probably not. The question is, does his presence with a weapon make him guilty of a crime? If you watch any of the mainstream media, you would be led to believe that it did. This is patently false, a lie that has been proclaimed over and over. Joe Scarborough of MSNBC led the charge by accusing Rittenhouse of vigilantism, intending to target persons of color and indiscriminately firing 60 rounds, when he actually fired only 4 times, directly at what he believed were threats to his life.

Rittenhouse has been vilified by both the media and democrats without valid reason. If anyone can look at the video of the incidents and not understand that they are almost picture-perfect examples of self-defense, that person is either a liar or an idiot. Speaking of idiots, who in their right mind would attack a person armed with a long rifle shouting out that he is a friendly? Hate to say it, but sometimes culling the herd is not always a bad thing. Nick Sandman, the high schooler who was confronted by a drum beating Native American activist in Washington, DC, was also vilified by the media. He sued for defamation and the media paid out over $100 million to settle the cases. Here’s hoping that Rittenhouse follows Sandman’s lead. Let’s hope that the reckless disregard of the truth is finally put to bed or that enough people maligned and lied about, sue them into non-existence. If we fail to understand that the Left is engaged in the pursuit of destroying our Constitutional Republic and that the mainstream media and democrat party are becoming increasingly aligned with the Left, our nation will fall. Just like Tass and Pravda spread communist propaganda in the Soviet Union, our mainstream media mirrors the same tactics.

On Saturday, November 20th, 2021, Darrell Brooks, a black man, drove his vehicle through a Christmas Parade in Waukesha, WI and mowed over 50 people, including children, killing 6. Vaun Mayes, a “Black Lives Matter” activist declared the following Monday, "But it sounds possible that the revolution has started in Wisconsin. It started with this Christmas parade." This is what our nation is becoming. This is what those who want to be “woke” are supporting. This is the enemy that will destroy us from within. To my democrat friends, is this what you signed up for and support? Is this what is best for our nation? Are you paying attention to what the leadership of your party is espousing? It is long past time to wake up and smell the roses. To the “woke” left and the useful idiots that support their inane ideology, you will be remembered in history as was the Emperor Nero, who fiddled as Rome burned except that you are actually stoking the fire.

Time to Hold Your Government Accountable

The second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States declares, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.” The express reasons that the right to bear arms “being necessary to the security of a free State”, is that it gives its’ citizens the means to protect themselves against an invading army or a tyrannical government. Our government has exceeded the authority the “We the people” have granted them. Yes, we the people, cede to government authority to act on the citizen’s behalf as enumerated by the Constitution. When the government engages in unlawful actions or arbitrarily exceeds their authority, those elected officials must be held accountable by the electorate.

This is not a call to arms. This is not advocating force against our government. This country belongs to “We the People” and we are not to be ruled by elected officials and unelected bureaucrats. The First Amendment provides the right for citizens to peacefully assemble and the right to petition Congress in order to redress their grievances to the government. The voices of reason must be heard. The majority of citizens of this nation share common values and morals. The majority of citizens of this nation reject the leftist ideology embraced by the current administration. The majority of citizens of this nation respect the rule of law and expect that their elected leaders follow the law. For far too long, our elected leaders have ignored our grievances. For far too long, they have minimized our role and inflated their own. For far too long, we have failed to speak out, simply submitting to a government that disregards the will of their citizens.

In direct contradiction of Constitution, the Biden administration refuses to protect our border. Over 1.7 million illegal immigrants have been, not only allowed to cross into the US, the government has dispersed the vast majority of them into the interior of the country. The President is obligated by Article 4 Section 4 of the Constitution to guarantee that every State has a republican form of government and that the Federal government will protect each State against invasion. Since the Border Patrol has been reassigned to process illegal immigrants, Texas Governor Gregg Abbott ordered State Troopers to protect its’ border. Rather than defend the State of Texas from the invasion of illegal immigrants, President Biden ordered the Department of Justice to sue in order to allow the immigration invasion to continue unabated.

When the Supreme Court failed to vacate the stay on the eviction moratorium issued by the CDC, President Biden admitted that the order would likely be ruled unconstitutional, but flatly stated that it will be held up in the courts for at least a month, and hopefully longer. This sitting President, who had taken an oath to uphold the Constitution, admits that he will manipulate the court system in order to keep in place, what he knows is an unconstitutional order.

President Biden threatens a vaccine mandate and that if health care and emergency service professionals decline to be vaccinated, he states that they should be terminated. If military service members refuse the vaccine, they will be court martialed and dishonorably discharged. Yet there will be no vaccine mandate for persons crossing our border illegally and then scattered throughout the country.

As of October 26, 2021, over 450 Americans remain left behind in Afghanistan after the disastrous pull out of all of our troops. This after the Biden administration has been telling the public for months that less than 100 were left behind.

President Biden, on day one of his administration, pulled the plug on the Keystone pipeline and severely restricted oil drilling on public lands. This returned the US to a net oil importer, rather than a net oil exporter, as it was under the Trump administration. Oil is now over $85 per barrel, on a trajectory to $100. The price of gasoline continues to rise, now averaging $3.36 per gallon, up almost $1 per gallon since inauguration day. President Biden’s solution? Beg OPEC to increase production of oil.

Our supply chain is collapsing, causing shortages throughout the nation and cargo ships are docked at sea, unable to unload their supplies. The administration’s spokesperson, Jen Psaki jokes that people will have to wait a few months for their treadmills. Pete Buttigieg, Transportation Secretary, quips that if you don’t get your Christmas shopping done early, you may be out of luck finding gifts. The accomplice media complains that Americans have had it too good for too long and should simply accept this new normal.

Critical Race Theory is used to indoctrinate our military, government workers and our children. The Biden administration prioritizes the reinstatement of the Iran nuclear deal and drops sanctions that open their economy so that they can escalate their support of terrorism throughout the world. China our most ardent competitor on the world stage, is embraced, ignoring the fact that they intend to overtake us economically, militarily and replace us as the world leader. Perhaps, we should learn to hate our real enemies, not each other.

As Chief of State, the President functions as the moral compass for our nation. The President is to protect our freedoms and uphold justice. President Biden and his party, the democrats, have failed on all counts. President Obama famously told a fellow democrat during the 2020 presidential primary, “Don't underestimate Joe's ability to f--k things up." We can all agree with his assessment as one pratfall after another occurs by this incompetent administration. Reckless spending continues, leading to runaway inflation. Somehow this administration is surprised, yet advise us that inflation is “transitory”. I’ve got a bridge to sell you if you believe that whopper. 2022 may well be our last chance to save our nation. If democrats maintain power in the Senate and House, the Green New Deal will become a reality, along with its’ $32 trillion price tag. Gone will be the days that we can efficiently travel and if you do not happen to possess a covid passport, you likely won’t be able to travel at all. Time to wake up before the American dream becomes a socialist nightmare. Time to put everyone with a (D) beside their name in the unemployment line by voting them out of office. Time to make democrats a true minority and render them powerless to continue to destroy our nation. If we fail in this endeavor, we may ultimately fail as a nation.

Confess heretic! Confess wrong thinker! Today, woke “Inquisitors” search tirelessly for anything that can emasculate their foes. Unfortunately, for those deemed as “wrong thinkers”, any meme posted on the internet is there forever. It may take gleaning numerous pages, posted years ago, but rest assured if you have offended, you will pay. Think you can go back and delete any offensive material, think again. If it was once there, it will always remain somewhere to be found. Those of the “cancel culture” are ravenous and their thirst for blood is unquenchable. That humorous e-mail that you forwarded or posted on Facebook, will become fodder for those who revel at destroying others.

Speech or actions deemed appropriate for the times in which they occurred, are described as racist, sexist, homophobic, trans-phobic, or simply unacceptable to the Left’s ever-changing standards. Statues that honor anyone that offends the sensibilities of the left are defaced or torn down. Longstanding institutions must bow down and grovel at the altar of the “woke” Left by virtue signaling their support for all manner of depravity that so permeates the Left’s ideology. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln are now judged to be racists and must be erased from history. What’s next, book burning?

Jon Gruden sends off a litany of offensive material via e-mail, and it’s not enough to simply destroy him. The rest of the NFL are deemed equally evil and demands are made to release all e-mails in order to find others that can be destroyed. You were once young and foolish, not held responsible for your juvenile misconduct? No excuses allowed by the ever-tolerant left. MLB players Josh Hader, Trea Turner and Sean Newcombe were vilified for offensive tweets made in their teen years. Just as malevolent nations like North Korea have thousands of internet hackers searching for vulnerabilities of their enemies, the Left intends to destroy anyone with the audacity to challenge their inane ideology of hatred, division and racism.

We are to forgive others as God has forgiven us. With the left, there is no forgiveness, only retribution and revenge. “Love trumps hate” was the Left’s rallying cry during the Trump administration. This could not be further from the truth. Hate and divisiveness are the driving forces in the left’s unabated assault on our freedoms and civil society. Responsibility for your own actions? It is all about blaming someone else for one’s shortcomings and failures. Got to find a boogeyman to blame, so white supremacy and white privilege is the new strawman. Admittedly, the road to equality in the United States has been a long and arduous path. Our past sins are many and troublesome. This attempt to perpetuate the mistakes of the past is foolhardy. There was hope that Barack Obama would finally unite our nation, eliminate racism, and achieve lasting equality. Unfortunately, those hopes were shattered by divisive comments made from his bully pulpit. Our nation and our people are not perfect, nor will we ever be. We all make mistakes. We all hurt those we most love.

Those who have endured within the rise of China, the Soviet Union, Cuba, Venezuela and other nations who embraced leftist ideals can see the similarities of the path our nation is traveling. Those governments sowed division by utilizing class warfare. Our new “democratic socialism” divides by race, creating a new generation of racism and bias. This does not “level the playing field”. It is simply perpetuating our past critical mistakes. Barack Obama said in 2014, at the College Opportunity Summit, “The premise that we’re all created equal is the opening line in our American story.  And we don’t promise equal outcomes; we’ve strived to deliver equal opportunity -- the idea that success does not depend on being born into wealth or privilege, it depends on effort and merit.  You can be born into nothing and work your way into something extraordinary.”

Who can ask for more than that? The destructive ideology that is the left must be rejected. Cancel culture must be cancelled. Our history is what it is. Let us learn from it and not make the same mistakes again. Let us unite as a nation. Let us learn from the words of Jesus, “Love one another as I have loved you.” It is time to move forward and work toward the goal of providing for the common good. Who will step up and lead?
