How government waste and fraud enrich the democrat party.

Elon Musk and DOGE exposed massive waste and fraud in USAID. Ever wonder why the democrats screamed so loudly opposing DOGE and in turn, villainized Musk and by proxy, the most successful American electric car company, Tesla? The democrat machine has made fraud and corruption the hallmark of their success. Politicians have enriched themselves, financially and gained power and status through their positions in government. Each and every time a politician promises to make your life better, they devise ways to benefit themselves, their family, and their friends. You are merely pawns whose vote allows them to continue cheating the very people they are to represent. Politicians lie, repeatedly, but the democrats have perfected the art.

·         Taxpayer dollars funding programs from the now defunct USAID were transferred to non-governmental agencies (NGO’s) with little to no oversight once those funds were distributed. In turn, those NGO’s donated money to the democrat National Committee (DNC) and democrat candidates, with which they can enrich themselves and their families on your dime. Without their favorite money laundering entity, USAID, it is much more difficult for the democrat party to raise funds. The European Union (EU) has increased their funding to many of the corrupt NGO’s, but there certainly is a shortfall for the democrats. They will continue to maintain a flow of cash from other government assistance programs, through welfare fraud, fictitious social security recipients, and fraudulent SNAP beneficiaries.

·         Which brings us to the next democrat scam. Many of those non-existent government assistance collectors are also likely on the voter rolls of democrat run states. Do you really think there are that many democrat voters that are in-line with leftism? Hard to maintain your power if, suddenly, tens of thousands of democrat votes are eliminated. Why are ALL of the democrat run states refusing to turn over SNAP data to the federal government that would assist in rooting out fraud? The fraud in “repurposed” taxpayer funds is bad enough without democrat candidates being elected to office by non-existent voters, allowing them to keep the gravy train rolling.

·         And so how else do democrats game the system to their benefit? $Billions are allocated to one of the most corrupt countries in the world, Ukraine, to fight a proxy war against Russia. Yes, Russia invaded Ukraine, but that has not slowed the democrat machine in taking advantage of your hard-earned money. Once the funds are allocated, oversight ends. You heard that right. We have no idea where the money went once it entered Ukraine’s accounts. Ukraine, (perhaps at the behest of democrat leadership?) “invests” funds into FTX, a crypto-currency fund run by Sam Bankman-Fried, currently in federal prison on a fraud conviction. In the scheme, FTX “donates” $Millions to the DNC, democrat causes, and candidates. Congress continues to allocate funds to Ukraine. Quite the vicious circle. Now do you understand why the democrats continue to call to continue funding this never-ending foreign war?

Corruption is ingrained into the system that is the swamp of Washington DC. Career politicians, on both sides of the aisle, have concocted a fine-tuned operation, where elected officials thrive. Follow the money trail. Elected “representatives” have increased their net worth, often by $Millions, or in the case of investment “savant” Nancy Pelosi, by hundreds of $Millions. These corrupt politicians do not warrant the trust we imbue our representatives. It is our responsibility as citizens to be an informed electorate. If your representative is acquiring wealth when he/she should be sacrificing for this nation, it is time that they no longer “serve.” If your representative does not reflect your, or your community’s values, it is time for them to return to the private sector. If your representative believes that they rule, rather than serve, it is time to vote them out of office.

The left seeks to destroy.

Once upon a time in this great experiment known as the United States, a more perfect union was formed. Thirteen States declared their independence from England, fought, won the Revolutionary War, and achieved their independence from England. Free at last from the bonds of monarchy, the founding fathers formed a new nation, with a new form of government, by, for, and of the people, a Constitutional Republic. Citizens would vote to elect their representatives in Congress, a President, and Vice-President. Each State also organized to govern each State’s affairs. Federal government was limited, but Federal statutes did take precedence over State and local laws.

This balancing act worked well until 1861, when a group of southern states decided that they were no longer bound by federal law. And so, the Civil War began, not exclusively about slavery, but begun by seditionists that wished to secede from the Union. A bloody war ensued, sometimes pitting brother against brother, completely unnecessary if all sides had adhered to the rule of law. Today, we have our own group of seditionists, also known as the democrat party. When a party is in the minority, they were intended to act as the loyal opposition. Today democrats have instead become a party of neo-confederates, attacking the rule of law.

Democrat run cities and states now proclaim their intention to ignore Federal law. Democrat leaders in those jurisdictions declare that Federal law enforcement can and will be subject to arrest by local law enforcement. Yes, they are actually threatening an armed stand-off, cop vs. cop. Will the first shots fired be tantamount to the first shots fired by confederate troops at Fort Sumter? It is indeed unfortunate that democrats, in their zeal to regain power, have thrown caution to the wind. Six democrat members of Congress, former military or intelligence officers, produced a video exhorting armed forces members to question authority in a misguided effort to undermine the commander in chief. This is nothing short of treason and those democrats should be prosecuted severely.

We are reaching a tipping point in the political discourse in this nation. It is one thing when criminals violate the laws but is another thing entirely when our elected leaders do the same, believing their positions of authority will shield them from accountability. Crime is rampant in many democrat run cities. When criminals are arrested, soft on crime District Attorneys often refuse to prosecute, releasing them to reoffend. Under the guise of the perceived racial disparity in prison population, democrat run cities are reluctant to incarcerate persons of color. Even though persons of color remain a minority population, they commit a majority of crimes.

Actions of the democrat leadership threaten the very foundations of this great nation. Outright lies to hinder the administration from conducting the people’s business to ingratiate themselves with their radical left base is unconscionable. As more of the democrat party’s corruption is uncovered, perhaps those who have long supported democrats will take a long hard look to see if the current crop of democrats represents their values. There is good reason that democrats fight so hard against streamlining government and rooting out corruption. They most benefit from the ill-begotten gains that a lack of accountability and oversight renders.

We must do our best to expose the evil that is overcoming this world. Democrat leaders are resolved to align with the left. The left is antithetical to God’s will. The left is opposed to our very way of life. The left wages war against our God and His people. Our leaders need to return to God. The only way to compel those in power to amend the error of their ways is to expose them to the light of day. Those that refuse to change must be voted out of office or they will continue in their evil ways. We are to shine the light of God to be a light to the world. The evil from the left will thrive if left to hide in the dark.

No longer can we stand by idly. No longer can we be quiet Christians. No longer can we wait for someone else to speak out. No longer can we go along to get along. If you wait for pastors to preach it from the pulpit, you may wait forever. The very souls of those influenced by the evil one are at risk. We must call out those who are content to gain wealth and power from their denial of God. If they are not called out, they will continue to travel the wide path to their destruction, and our nation will follow in their wake. The time is now.

This nation has never been more divided than it is today, perhaps save for the Civil War. Are we on the cusp of another inner conflict, pitting the left versus normality? Your tax dollars at work.

While serving as a police officer in a Milwaukee suburb for almost 30 years, one truth was self-evident; for criminals, it is all about the money. When conducting investigations, following the money most often led right to the criminal(s) that committed the crime. When noted Chicago crime boss Al Capone was finally brought to justice, the most important witness against him was his accountant. Unlawful activities always leave a money trail, no matter how hard the criminals try to obfuscate their culpability. The tangled web that the democrat party has woven is finally unraveling as they fall from power. As their partisan co-conspirators in the deep state are weeded out, the democrat machine is powerless to continue to hide their criminal conspiracies.

As Non-Governmental Agencies (NGOs) and numerous non-profits are audited by DOGE, the money trail that leads to the democrat party and their allies on the left becomes apparent. The malfeasance of the now defunct USAID has been exposed, and numerous grants have been shut down, causing the democrat party to lose a significant portion of their revenue. Your tax dollars are funneled into various “grants” to numerous agencies, who in turn, funnel some of that money into other “affiliated” organizations to complete their purposes. Once “granted” there is little to no oversight or accounting of how or even where that money is spent. In the 1980’s the Defense Department purchased thousands of $5,000.00 hammers, then diverted the “overcharge” to fund covert operations, the $Millions granted to promote child transgenderism and LGTBQ+ programs in Mozambique never were intended to serve that purpose.

USAID was simply a clearinghouse, or more accurately, a deep state money laundering scheme meant to enrich the democrat party. When people reject the policies advocated by the left, the people will no longer support and donate their hard-earned money to them. It then becomes necessary to find alternate ways to bilk the people and how simple it is to reroute funding, that has no oversight, right back into their pockets. Why else would the democrat party fight tooth and nail to maintain USAID and all its funding of such “Important” programs. Desperate times call for desperate measures and the democrat party has never been more desperate. Without access to taxpayer money never intended for them, democrats will lack the funds for their paid protesters, paid ballot harvesters, ActBlue, and all their other paid operatives.

Taxpayer funds are also rerouted to organizations that seek to disrupt and dissolve our Constitutional Republic in order to create a socialist state. Some examples: George Soros’ Open Society uses taxpayer funds funneled to it to elect “progressive” soft on crime District Attorneys that refuse to enforce the law, creating chaos and lawlessness. Additionally, Open Society has given terrorist related groups over $80Million since 2016. Yes, United States taxes have indirectly funded terrorists that seek to destroy us. Planned Parenthood received government funding and donated over $5Million to the Democrat National Committee and $40Million to democrat candidates that support abortion rights in 2024. These are but a few of the stratagems employed by the democrat party to enrich themselves financially, undermine our nation, create turmoil, and foster disunity.

The left is operating against this nation under the cover of our laws and freedoms. They are using false flag operations to launder US tax dollars to undermine our Republic. Democrats are embracing leftist ideology, aiding and abetting the very forces resolved to destroy us. Accusing the democrat party of treason is a charge that does not encompass the utter depravity of their designs. If democrats ever again seize power, they will drive this nation to ruin. We have a chance to prevent that from happening. A single bullet has birthed a revival. We must stand up for our faith. We must no longer be silent. Timing is Everything

Often the truth is right there in plain sight. One only needs to open their eyes, filter out the noise and see it for what it really is. The determination of the left in their attempt to “bring Trump to justice,” begs the question as to why it is so all-important to bring this man down? This concerted effort has morphed into an exercise bordering on the ridiculous that becomes even more preposterous as November 5^th fast approaches. The democrats have lost their collective minds since that fateful day in 2016 when Hillary Clinton lost the election to Donald Trump. Their brain trust decided to tacitly support Trump because they assumed that there was no way he could ever be elected and if nominated, would be the easiest Republican to defeat. When that strategy went down in flames, democrats mobilized the Deep State to hamstring the Trump administration and to ultimately take Trump down. The following is a timeline of democrat failure after failure, with but a few successes along the way.

Russia, Russia, Russia… The Hillary Clinton campaign commissioned and paid for the Steele dossier, a lame effort to discredit her political opponent, Donald Trump. With an assist from the ever-compliant leftist media, this buffoonish attempt at an October surprise actually got some legs after the election, effectively impeding the new administration and torpedoing much of Trump’s agenda. Never-Trumpers in the Republican party aided and abetted the democrats, particularly the jilted, wannabe Secretary of State, Senator Mitt Romney, and former (Thank God) Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, who continues to undermine his party’s Presidential nominee.

Hillary’s illegal server and destroying subpoenaed evidence… Clinton kept classified and top-secret government documents on a non-secure server at her home, in violation of Federal law. She also used several personal Blackberry devices to conduct both personal and government business. When those devices were subpoenaed by Congress, she deleted and destroyed those devices. When referred for prosecution, FBI Director James Comey made the decision, that he did not have the authority to make, to not charge her with a crime.

Impeachment 1.0… President Trump called Ukraine President Vlodomyr Zelenskyy and requested that he look into potential corruption by Hunter Biden. After “patriot” (partisan) Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman reported his concerns about the call as a whistleblower, all hell broke loose. The democrat led House investigated and sent articles of impeachment to the Senate for trial. Trump was acquitted.

The laptop from Hell and governmental censorship… The FBI maintained a direct channel to social media giants, Facebook and Twitter during the 2020 campaign, to request (demand) that posts they deemed “misinformation” be removed, effectively your government violating the 1^st Amendment right to free speech. When the New York Post published an article divulging the deviant and illegal behavior of Hunter Biden, found on his abandoned laptop computer, the Post was banned from social media. When 51 former intelligence officials, mobilized by none other than current Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, decried the laptop as Russian disinformation, the leftist media ran with it. If that is not election interference, nothing is.

Impeachment 2.0… In another first, Donald Trump was impeached again, this time as a private citizen. And you thought it couldn’t get any wilder? Articles of impeachment were filed by the democrat led House one week after a Trump rally in Washington DC where he implored his supporters to “peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.” Unfortunately, things got out of hand, due to a number of factors. Trump was again acquitted.

The January 6^th committee… In July of 2021, after failing to convict Trump, House democrats formed the “select” committee on the January 6^th attack. A television producer was hired to choreograph the proceedings that were televised in prime time. Exculpatory witnesses were not called to testify, and the committee withheld much of the video from that day. Additionally, when the committee completed their “findings,” evidence was destroyed in violation of Federal law. Trump was referred to the Department of Justice for charges of obstruction of an official proceeding, conspiracy to defraud the US, conspiracy to make a false statement, and attempt to incite an insurrection.

All is quiet on the western front… Until Trump makes it official, he is running for President again. This drives the democrats crazy, and they will stop at nothing to disqualify him from running for office. Maine, Colorado and Illinois disqualified Trump from being on the ballot, but the US Supreme Court ruled unanimously that those actions were unconstitutional. Lawfare is ongoing as the DOJ and democrat DA’s twist the law in an attempt to convict and jail Trump.

Democrats rant and rave that Trump is a threat to democracy, but democrat actions prove otherwise. Every unconstitutional action by democrats against President Trump is a direct assault against “We the people.” The democrat party has embraced leftism and denounced our Constitution. The democrat party wants to rule by fiat, as if they were royalty. On November 5^th “We the people” have it within our power to rebuke those who would rule over us, rather than represent us. It is time to vote democrats out of office, wholesale. It is time that they finally pay for their recklessness. It is time to take back our nation.

Rules of Engagement

Man on the street interviews highlight just how out of touch many in our nation have become. Questions that once were common knowledge are often fumbled by our next generation of leaders. But they can recite verbatim from social media influencer’s videos. Decisions driven by some “Tic Tok’ video publisher’s unhinged rantings without possessing the ability to properly filter out the noise, is a recipe for disaster. This is what you get when teaching life skills become secondary to preaching CRT and striving for equity of outcome. In just a few short years, woke education policies have created a generation that has no clue.

Political ideology drives individuals to vilify those in which they disagree. Far too many on all sides of the political spectrum fall prey to this insidious behavior, especially on social media. Civil dialogue has become a lost art. In a head long rush to embrace “wokeness,” society has elevated selfishness to the preeminent position in society. We are cautioned to live in this world without becoming overcome by it but the world is clearly winning. Compassion has been twisted into a means of assuaging those who willfully choose to reject common decency and morality.  Tolerance is manipulated to reject common sense and allow abhorrent behavior to be normalized. Acceptance has been corrupted to foster disregard of accepted societal norms. Equity of outcome replaces equality of opportunity and the whole of society suffers in this misguided attempt to elevate those perceived to be marginalized by society.

One should always question “new things” and transformational changes within society. Failure to do so will facilitate the default to our innate human selfishness. Awareness of our ill-advised proclivities will help to strive toward selflessness and service to our neighbors. In order to help make this world a better place, we often must deny our needs in order to serve others. This world was never intended to revolve around any single human being in order to fulfill their wants and desires. Affirmation of those trapped within their selfishness only rewards ill-advised conduct. There is a reason that laws and rules exist. Without them, humanity regresses into human animals, only concerned with their own needs and desires. When identity or ideology supersedes empathy and concern for fellow human beings, we become ego-driven, self-centered malevolent beings that are antithetical to the ideal human condition.

Those that believe that it is paramount to properly love their neighbor by affirming behavior that is contrary to science and accepted societal norms, harms not only society but harms the mental health and well-being of the subject of that misguided love. When principles of conduct become vague and undefined, such as acquiescing to the theory that whatever is your reality is truth, the more unorthodox the standard of conduct becomes. Our society is in a free fall away from reality. Leftists seek to destroy the fabric of this nation and remake it into a socialist, authoritarian state and many are fooled into supporting this disturbing conspiracy.

The fears of a nation were manipulated and used to control this nation as it faced the uncertainty of a novel coronavirus pandemic that was far less lethal than our government and public health officials asserted. Fear is used to stoke hatred and to destroy those who would challenge this dangerous “woke” ideology that has replaced common sense. Fear enables individuals to do whatever it takes to protect their position and power. But fear is a liar. Reason and truth must be restored to overcome fear, and that truth is that we are all brothers and sisters with God as our Father. Fear divides us against one another. The common enemy is clear for those who choose to see. Government has been weaponized against “we the people,” and too many cheer it on.

Biden promised a return to normalcy and to unite the nation. His rhetoric has further divided this nation. His policies are destroying our economy, ended our energy independence, acquiesced to Russia's aggression, relinquished our role in the world to China and is destroying the dollar as the primary currency of trade. It is time to deny ourselves and identities as Democrat or Republican. It is time that we elect those who choose to serve us, rather than rule us. It is time to roll back the insanity that has overcome our nation. We are one nation under God and its high time we act that way.

Unwitting Pawns

Everyone should practice tolerance, inclusion, acceptance and welcoming in their daily lives. Sharing those values within our community allows society to thrive. Problem is, these ideals have been corrupted by those that wish to foment distrust and division in this nation. Many who fall prey to this perversion of wholesome principals believe that past perceived injustices merit the abandonment of accepted societal norms in order to “make things right.”  Unfortunately, appeasing the loudest voices and acquiescing to radical ideology, allows an unfettered rush to a fundamental transformation of this great nation.

Deviant sexuality has prospered in this nation due to the mistaken belief that acceptance is the appropriate response to properly love your neighbor. This only promotes further attacks on the moral fiber of society. Like the school yard bully, inaction only increases the bully’s resolve. Without moral clarity, humankind’s innate selfishness takes the reins. We need to look at the reflection in the mirror and recognize who we really are. When traditional values are rejected and replaced with “new things” that disregard moral decency, one cannot easily justify those behaviors.

God created each of us with intrinsic differences, with different skills and talents. The gifts afforded to each of us vary. It is our differences that enable us to fulfill various roles that benefit all. Men and women are created to fulfill specific, yet equal roles, when raising children. Eliminate either from the equation and you stifle the child’s development. Both are necessary to guide and nurture the child. Both are necessary to instill values, morals, and faith. Both are necessary to impart the unique skillsets they possess to teach their children to become productive members of society. Without a mother or father, the child will seek to fill that void elsewhere.

Woke educators attempt to usurp parental rights by mainstreaming and encouraging experimentation with LGTBQ lifestyles, promoting transgenderism, and indoctrinating our youth with Critical Race Theory, at the expense of core education. Children are particularly impressionable and vulnerable to suggestion as they develop and learn. Trusting that curriculum will follow accepted societal norms is no longer acceptable. Without parental involvement in the education of their children, children will be at risk of the dominant woke culture that seeks to discard traditional values and replace them with leftist ideology.

Black lives matter, but no more than any other life. With God as our father, we are all brothers and sisters, no matter how we look on the outside. Race is a social construct. We are all members of one race; the human race. Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself, yet leftists are relentless in their attacks on Christianity. Forgiving others and turning the other cheek must be too foreign for leftists to understand. Revenge does nothing to right any perceived wrongs. Retribution does nothing to lift the spirit. Reparations do nothing but punish those who have committed no crime and reward those who have not suffered loss.

Those that agree with the path that the current administration is leading the country need to wake up. For those who acquiesce to the insanity that has overtaken this nation, hear this; You will have no place in this new world order, you are advocating for your own demise. The fundamental transformation of this nation is being abetted by those who put tolerance, acceptance, and inclusion above common sense. Leftists mean to tear down traditional society and replace it with socialism. Socialist elites will then make decisions for their benefit, while everyone else will be mired in mediocrity.

Look around. Are you satisfied with the current trajectory of our nation? Can you rationalize the criminality occurring on our city streets daily? Will you willingly choose to turn your life over to a ruling elite? The “leaders” of the World Economic Forum would like that. They have openly stated such. They know what is best for us underlings. If we sit back and allow it, it will happen and your worst nightmare will be realized.

It’s time that we turn back to the Judeo-Christian beliefs that made this nation great. It’s time that we are able to share differing opinions without being maligned. Leftists silence dissent. Leftists accuse their detractors of racism, homophobia, and transphobia. Leftists want you to be willing sheep to be led to slaughter. This is our future if we fail to uphold our Republic, founded as a more perfect union for all. And fall it will, if we sit back and do nothing.

 

In the Garden of Good and Evil

Fear is a great motivator in preventing good people from calling out evil for what it is. The fear of being labeled as intolerant, hateful or bigoted is often enough to silence debate. Failure to expose evil in our society has allowed it to grow and flourish. As evil grows, it overwhelms common sense and reason while it extinguishes accepted societal norms and institutes destructive ideologies. Hiding one’s head in the sand or ignoring danger does not protect one from that danger; it will simply render you defenseless. The courage to overcome evil exists in every fiber of every person. Motivation for self-preservation is one of the strongest drives of the human condition. We need only to recognize that allowing evil to prevail will lead to our personal and societal destruction.

In a few short years, leftist ideology has become mainstream, particularly in academia, mainstream media, and the Democrat party. Young people, subjected to indoctrination in our public school system, embrace socialism, even though few understand its’ shortcomings. In socialism the State is paramount. The State becomes the religion and citizens depend on the government to provide for all. Hard work and ambition are discouraged and all are equal. Socialism has failed miserably wherever it has been instituted. The quality of life suffers, production of goods wanes and only the ruling elite benefit. Ronald Reagan said it best, “Government is not the solution to the problem, it is the problem.”

Leftism peddles lie after lie, inundating the populace with empty promises. Leftism promotes egalitarianism and government control of political and economic life. Leftism is radical, anti-capitalism and espouses the use of radical means to reach their goals. Anarchists, Marxists, communists, and socialists all belong to and support leftism. Equity is the calling card of the left. Equity purports to create equal outcomes at the cost of equal opportunity. Tolerance is a tool that dupes the masses into supporting this ideology that breeds inequality. Equity uses our differences to divide us, promoting a new form of racism. The left accuses their enemies of the same tactics they employ, allowing them to deflect blame when their policies backfire.

A house divided cannot stand and the purveyors of leftism understand tactics to divide will allow them to conquer. Leftists also understand that their strategy will not survive a united front of opposition. Recognizing the schemes of the left will allow good to triumph over the evil that is leftism;

Abortion provides a tool to divide and create animosity toward traditional norms. All can agree that every woman should have autonomy over her body. The left falsely accuses their opponents of creating legislation restricting a woman’s right to reproductive health care. Less than 1% of all pregnancies in the US are due to rape or incest and few states have laws that prohibit abortion in those instances. Where our disagreements lie is the right of a pre-born child to have a say in the matter. A woman’s choice does not take into consideration that pre-born human being. Minimize the value of life and all of society loses.

The elimination of sovereign borders by refusing to enforce immigration law creates confusion and overwhelms the immigration system. The tactic to discredit a border wall using the “We must be welcoming, after all, we are a nation of immigrants” rings hollow. Nations without borders are no longer nations.

District Attorneys refuse to enforce laws, encouraging criminals to commit criminal acts without consequence and releasing criminals into their communities to re-offend is the first step on a path to anarchy.

Disregarding accepted societal norms while celebrating deviant sexual behavior. Encouraging children to experiment with alternate lifestyles and gender change, often without parental consent, allows the State to have a greater role in the upbringing of our children, while minimizing parental roles. Drag queen story hour while traditional speakers are prohibited is absolutely insane, but it does create even more division.

The left foments division and strife. America stands at a crossroads, on the verge of falling, not by an invading army, but from within. I for one, will not stand idly by. Will you?

Not a red wave, but with Republicans regaining a majority in the House, perhaps a measure of sanity can return to our government. Democrat leadership will have the opportunity to reflect and could decide to reject their radical policies of division. Unfortunately, Democrats are unlikely to alter their strategy, believing staving off a predicted red wave validates their policies. Expect them to move further left and continue their assault on our Constitutional Republic. This nation is so polarized by political ideologies, unqualified candidates are elected solely based on the letter after their name on the ballot. Breaking through another glass ceiling, Pennsylvania elected the first vegetable to the US Senate. Socialism, here we come.

In the ‘50’s, Joe McCarthy falsely alleged that communists were everywhere, intent on destroying our democracy. History repeats itself as the Democrat party hurls dishonest accusations of “white supremacy” and “the radicalized right” as existential threats to democracy. President Biden echoes this sentiment, with a strategy that vilifies his political opponents and falsely accuses them as a threat to democracy. Just as McCarthy’s assertions were patently false, our “Divider in Chief’s” words also ring hollow. This tactic had limited success, as Democrats appear to have maintained a narrow majority in the Senate.

Our military is to “stand down” to investigate and root out any “right-wing” extremism within its’ ranks, emphasizing CRT and diversity, rather than building a competent fighting force. Though there is no valid intelligence that indicates its existence, the Left promises this danger to our democracy will be ferreted out and eliminated. Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene utters comments deemed inappropriate, and Democrats vote to remove her from all committee assignments. Ilhan Omar, AOC, Rashida Talib, Ayanna Pressley and Maxine Watters incite violence, transfer campaign contributions to family members and you can cue the crickets. The mainstream media, in a concerted effort to hasten political upheaval, unabashedly support leftist aspirations while disparaging all things conservative. The effort to drive their chosen narrative rather than report factual news, goes against all journalistic standards. This double standard is apparent and appalling.

Disagree with the Left on immigration, and you are racist. Challenge their unhinged desire to rid the planet of fossil fuels, and you are a science denier killing the planet. Follow the science in the fight against COVID-19, and you’ll be censured by social media and labeled a heretic by the mainstream media. Point out that there are differences between the genders and you’re homophobic, transphobic or just plain too stupid to understand that biological sex is in the eye of the beholder and is as fluid as water. Question voting irregularities in the 2020 Presidential election, and you’ll be de-platformed or cancelled. Parents that challenge “woke” curriculum are accused of domestic terrorism. The mainstream media amplifies vitriol emanating from the Left, reporting with supportive nods, while disparaging any conservatives that uphold the rule of law.

The Overton Window is an accepted theory that political change is driven by what the public is willing to consider and accept at that time. Typically, change is incremental, but now the pendulum has swung so steep and sharply to the left that many believe it irrevocably broken. The unthinkable has evolved into policy far too easily and rapidly. Democrat leadership’s reckless embrace of all things “woke” has driven hyper-partisanship and vilified dissent. A compliant news media propagandizes that electing conservative leadership will end democracy. Truth is, the Left does seek to end democracy.

Leftist ideology has enslaved the democrat party. The Left’s unbridled ambition to acquire and maintain power damages the very pillars of law and order by using government agencies to attack their political opponents. Leftism is a metastasized cancer that is destroying the very fabric of our society and nation. Cancer must be excised completely for the body to heal or it will return and spread. Leftism must be defeated. Unless Democrat leadership moderates, they must be voted out. The Left aspires to eliminate faith in God, end the Constitutional right to protect yourself, murder unborn children with impunity, open borders, eradicate their political opponents, indoctrinate our children with perverse sexual education and divide them by race. The Left will continue their unrelenting ambition to fundamentally transform this nation. Supporters of this madness need to wake up and recognize that the Democrat party has rejected established societal values. It’s time we realize we are not Democrats or Republicans. We are Americans and we need to start acting as such.

Virtue signaling the end of freedom

As parents, we learn that if we reward our child’s bad behavior, that bad behavior will accelerate until it gets completely out of control. Rules must be set and boundaries must be drawn and adhered to, by both the parent and child. Acquiescing to a child’s disobedient actions will not teach them self-control and they will not learn respect for themselves or others. Without guidance our children will struggle to become productive members of society as adults. Black Lives Matter and their ilk have meltdowns throughout the country, burning, rioting and looting. Some of our elected leaders and mainstream media legitimize the actions by declaring them as mostly peaceful. What happens when virtue signaling replaces reason? The Biden administration, disregarding the rule of law, decides to placate them, comply to their inane demands, create methods to incorporate their “values” into society and create a monster likely to destroy everything that makes this nation great.

Becoming “Woke” is far more important than properly training our military to be a cohesive fighting force. Diversity, inclusion and equity take the front seats in order to properly instill the message that all are no longer equals. Some of us need to be ashamed about events that they never participated, wrongs that they never committed and perceived privilege that never benefited them. If one’s skin is the wrong color, you are to be ashamed of yourself and not to be trusted. We are not becoming a colorless society. We are falling back into the trap of discrimination based upon the color of one’s skin. No matter who is targeted, discrimination for any reason and bias based upon the color of one’s skin is immoral and inappropriate. I thought our first black President was going to end racial bias. Not so much.

White privilege, the rallying cry from the left undercuts the very tenets of our Constitution and the rights conferred by it. Blaming others for one’s shortcomings is despicable and wrong-headed. Discriminating against a person, solely by the basis of skin color does nothing to unite us. We are all homo sapiens, members of the human race. Why are we falling for the same lies that led to discrimination of persons of color? Why would we want to repeat the same mistakes that divided our country by race in the mid 1900’s. Why would anyone feel better if others were punished for the sins of their fathers? Revenge, retribution or reprisal do not exact justice. They are merely hateful enterprises that leaves one feeling even more empty and angry. These negative emotions do nothing to help to heal those wounds. They only allow hate to fester and grow.

The freedom to pursue your dreams and happiness is the basis of the American way of life. Opportunity abounds for all those who endeavor to seek those opportunities. Anyone. Yes, anyone can be the next best thing if one applies oneself. At one time our education system was the envy of the world, but we have faltered, lagging behind in most of the STEM disciplines. Why is that? We have incorporated leftist ideologies into curriculum, neglecting those subjects. Critical race theory is more important than history as it occurred. Much of our teaching in public schools decries Capitalism and elevates socialism, with any negative aspects of socialism omitted. We have incorporated transgenderism into curriculum, encouraging experimentation with choosing preferred gender and pronouns. Alternate lifestyles are promoted to young impressionable children. The lens of race eclipses reason and is used as a cudgel to accuse and defame, based solely upon skin color. Work ethic is panned as racist. Grades are panned as racist. The nuclear family is panned as racist.

Leftist ideology does not seek to co-exist with our current societal norms. Leftist ideology seeks to fundamentally transform this nation into a socialist nightmare. Think this could not happen in this bastion of freedom. Think again. It is happening in plain sight. We have been too complacent to realize it. The leaders of the democrat party are in bed with those who seek to destroy us in order to maintain their power. The media parrots their talking points and omits “misinformation” or anything conservative. What they fail to realize, is that they are never going to be accepted by those who are currently succeeding in dragging this nation into the abyss. They will be cast aside like willing pawns unaware of the trap they are falling into. If we continue in our slumber, it will happen. Some of us are finally awakening and challenging this impending evil that is choking our freedom, but not enough. The time to stand back and let others get involved is over. If we fail to take back our country from this leftist storm, we simply don’t deserve it. Will you allow your freedoms to end and our nation to be left on the scrap heap of history? It’s your choice. Rise up and stem the tide or sit back and say goodbye to America.

We have a common adversary.

Apparently, much confusion reigns within the party of identity politics. You would think that when the collective pigeon holes each individual into distinctive blocs, they would understand the distinguishing traits each individual group possesses. Take what constitutes the Left for instance. The Left does not espouse the values inherent in those who identify as liberal. The Left does not share the values of the Democrat party. The Left looks to replace free enterprise with socialism. The Left is antithetic to the Constitution of the United States. The majority of those who belong to the party of John Kennedy and/or embrace liberalism, leftism is as far from their values as are those embraced by the extreme right. In fact, leftism has much more in common with the extreme right than anything that Democrats believe in and cherish. Unfortunately, the leadership of the Democrat party is embracing the ideals of Leftism, apparently convinced that it is a winning strategy. What exactly are the tenets of leftism?

On America – the US is an inherently, systemically racist country founded illegitimately by slave owners. Equality of opportunity needs to be replaced with equitable outcomes.

On borders – open borders with unlimited immigration, particularly to persons of color in order to increase the minority population.

On race – a return to segregation, dividing by race. Universities have established black only dormitories and graduations. Soon to return, black only and white only drinking fountains. In Critical Race Theory, persons of color are considered oppressed by a system that unfairly rewards whites.

On gender – there is an infinite number of genders and children should be able to make their own decisions on their chosen gender, including beginning medical treatments to transition to another gender, without parental notification. Men that identify as female can participate in women’s sports. What is your chosen pronoun?

On free speech – any speech considered inappropriate to the tenets of Leftism are to be considered hate speech and to be shouted down and suppressed. There is no longer a free exchange of ideas or any debate allowed on college campuses.

On capitalism and the free market – capitalism must be destroyed and replaced with socialism, which is actually a guiding principle of the Black Lives Matter movement.

On religion – all must kneel at the altar of the State. Religion is to be banned.

If you happen to embrace these ideals, you may just be a Leftist. If you do not, it is time to wake up!

If more of the members of the Democrat party realized the direction that their party is headed, they would reject it and advocate for change in their leadership. Conservatives and Republicans are not the enemy. Both Democrats/liberals and Republicans/conservatives should have the same common goal, facilitating the means to improve the lives of those they represent. Our differences have always been about the methods and direction taken to achieve those goals. One party favors more government intervention and one party prefers giving citizens the means to forge their own path. We used to end up in the same place, reaching common ground and compromising when necessary. This is becoming increasingly rare, as the parties engage in more finger pointing than actual real debate.

Another issue accelerating division in our nation is the instant gratification our evolving society affords. Social media drives opinions with censorship, misinformation and down and out falsehoods. It has become increasingly difficult to find the truth. It has become all too easy to simply consume that which upholds one’s opinion, siloed within group-think, and ignore anything that could potentially invalidate one’s chosen opinion. If we disagree, so be it. Let’s work to resolve our differences. The Left should be our shared enemy, not each other. As Democrats/liberals and Republicans/conservatives we need to unite to fight the Left, as it’s stated goal is to fundamentally transform this nation into something it was never intended to be. America has its’ warts and blemishes. Even with all of our successes, we have failed our citizens far too often. But, we are all Americans. We all share the same common ground. We need to work together to protect our country from those who would destroy it and to keep our nation as that shining beacon on a hill.

No consequences, no restraint

Without boundaries or restrictions, humankind’s instincts revert to selfishness and greed. We are born, helpless and dependent upon others for our needs, self-centered to the point that we cry when hungry, wet or cold until those needs are met to our satisfaction. Without rules or laws, humankind regresses back to our childhood, and our innate selfishness. Without consequences there is no need to restrain oneself in an effort to adhere to societal norms. Without consequences it becomes everyone for themselves. Without consequences we devolve into mere animals and anarchy and lawlessness reigns.

The defund the police movement promotes exactly the type of lawlessness we have witnessed over the last two years. Police are ordered to stand down and let the masses “let off steam” by rioting, looting and burning and we are surprised by the resulting chaos. Organized looting hits our cities and the elected leaders point fingers at one another. Would anyone expect any less when unlawful actions are ignored by the authorities? Laws are meant to protect the citizenry by placing constraints on inappropriate societal behavior. Law enforcement is the mechanism to administer those laws for the protection of society. The courts are to mete out the consequences of failures to abide by those communal laws.

In many of our blue cities, there is a movement to eliminate bail and to reduce incarceration. After all, it is not fair and equitable those that are arrested and sentenced to prison do not precisely mirror the current demographics of the population. Progressive District Attorneys fail to meet their obligations to remove from society those that engage in behavior that places others in danger. Prosecutors that engage in this misguided attempt to “level the playing field” are committing malfeasance in public office. Milwaukee County DA’s office, under John Chisholm, set inappropriately low bail for career criminal Darrell Brooks, who was freed on $1,000 bail after he assaulted his girlfriend and ran her over with his SUV. Chisholm’s policy of reducing incarceration, low bail recommendations and greater latitude for offenders of color, allowed Brooks the freedom to use his SUV to mow down more than 60 people, killing 6, at the Waukesha Christmas parade.

Nature abhors a vacuum. Police are ordered to stand down during the rioting in Kenosha, WI and Kyle Rittenhouse fills that void to assist in protecting property. Law enforcement, trained in crowd control, could have ended the violence and properly protected life and property, but Mayor John Antaramain decided to let the mob rule unabated. Far too many with a “D” after their names are embracing these destructive policies. There will be none of that in Washington County. The rule of law is respected and the responsibility to uphold those laws are fulfilled. Mob rule will not be tolerated in Washington County.

Laws are enacted to protect all citizens, their property and their Constitutional rights. Ignoring the law leads to chaos, which apparently is the goal of the progressive left. You see, in order to fundamentally change our nation, it must first be destroyed, then rebuilt. What does this reformed nation look like? Nations that embraced leftism devolved into socialism and then, totalitarianism. Venezuela transformed from a nation with a vibrant economy, to the current hell-hole it is today after electing Hugo Chavez and embracing socialism in 1999. If we fail to act to prevent our downward spiral towards socialism, we will be faced with the same harsh realities that the Venezuelan people are experiencing today.

The momentum that began with the parents petitioning their School Boards to demand accountability must continue if we are to save our country as founded. The Biden administration continues its’ deliberate descent in spending this nation into oblivion, greasing the skids towards the goal of creating a socialist state and threatening our very monetary system. If the dollar fails and is replaced as the standard currency of trade, your investments will vanish overnight. It is only because of the dollar’s status that we can continue to print currency without creating hyper-inflation. We must elect representatives that will stop this insanity. The policies of the left are intentionally destructive. The policies of the left create unrelenting and unpunished crime. The policies of the left teach our children to hate each other based on the color of their skin. It is time to reject all that is the left and re-embrace the visionary aspirations of the founding fathers.
