5 easy steps to socialism.

“Go along to get along.” “Don’t rock the boat.” “Someone else will do the right thing.” It is extremely easy to justify one’s actions, or the lack thereof. Our collective lack of courage to stand up and confront evil is appalling. Ignoring that which does not seem to directly affect us presently, even though others may be adversely affected, seems to be the calling card of our “I don’t want to get involved” society. Whether it be the parenting of our children without instilling proper Christian morals and values, or overparenting by enabling their children’s every whim, every new generation is becoming increasingly directionless.

The left’s strategy to infiltrate academia is bearing fruit as a generation of young people have embraces the siren song of socialism. Never mind that socialism’s failures are well documented, “democratic socialism” is the antidote to those disasters. Never mind the death and destruction socialism has left in its path throughout history. Never mind that eventually production slows to halt when workers realize that being productive is of no value to them. Welfare fails because recipients understand that working for a living is of no benefit when the government provides funding for food, housing, heat, and childcare? Socialism in any form cannot and will not ever succeed.

We are witnessing an insurgency, intent upon fundamentally transforming this nation, driven by a compliant, lying mainstream media, leftist democrat party leaders, and imbedded leftist bureaucrats in government and academia. Enabled by that cacophony of support, useful idiots become vigilantes, fighting against a perceived injustice to criminal illegal immigrants. These crazed individuals actually think they are performing a public service championing the “oppressed.” All they are doing is accomplishing the leftist goal of destroying the nation in which they enjoy the freedoms that allow them to act the fool. And if they somehow succeed in this “mission” they will discover that what you wish for is not the reality that one would hope it would be.

New York elected avowed socialist Zohran Mamdani as mayor of the largest city in the United States. It is early in his tenure, but the signs are pointing toward an epic financial collapse and a legacy of incompetent leadership. For those that propelled him to victory, it will be a rude awakening. Past performance is the best indicator of success or failure. New York was able to survive the inept leadership of Bill DeBlasio and his socialistic policies, but he was not a full-blown socialist. Until people wake up and realize that they are being lied to and used as pawns, we will ever steadily approach the point of no return. The United States is on track for another civil war, like it or not. The left is winning, and with every day that elapses, more join in this movement toward socialism.

Democrats are indelibly the party of the left. The left’s mantra is socialism. Supporting democrats, or opposing Republicans, enables and emboldens the left. Far too many conservatives sit on the sideline, neglect their civic duty to vote, and acquiesce to the insanity of the left. This is a struggle to maintain the freedoms granted by our Constitutional Republic. Once it is gone, it will be gone forever. We only need to look to the European Union to see how easy it is to lose cherished freedoms, if taken for granted.

Socialism is a pox upon humanity that quashes the incentive of the individual to succeed. Nations fail under the weight of the tyranny necessary to maintain order when socialist states begin to collapse. This is inevitable for the United States if we fail to make our voices heard. California, Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, and Illinois are prime examples of leftist democrat “leadership.” These are harbingers of what is yet to come for everyone else in this once great “shining city on a hill” if we stand by and allow it to happen. The story is not yet set in stone. Our fate is not yet determined. Will you stand firm and vote for representatives that share your values that support liberty and the rule of law? Or will you sit back and watch our country burn?

Funding Evil

While serving as a police officer in a Milwaukee suburb for almost 30 years, one truth was self-evident; for criminals, it is all about the money. When conducting investigations, following the money most often led right to the criminal(s) that committed the crime. When noted Chicago crime boss Al Capone was finally brought to justice, the most important witness against him was his accountant. Unlawful activities always leave a money trail, no matter how hard the criminals try to obfuscate their culpability. The tangled web that the democrat party has woven is finally unraveling as they fall from power. As their partisan co-conspirators in the deep state are weeded out, the democrat machine is powerless to continue to hide their criminal conspiracies.

As Non-Governmental Agencies (NGOs) and numerous non-profits are audited by DOGE, the money trail that leads to the democrat party and their allies on the left becomes apparent. The malfeasance of the now defunct USAID has been exposed, and numerous grants have been shut down, causing the democrat party to lose a significant portion of their revenue. Your tax dollars are funneled into various “grants” to numerous agencies, who in turn, funnel some of that money into other “affiliated” organizations to complete their purposes. Once “granted” there is little to no oversight or accounting of how or even where that money is spent. In the 1980’s the Defense Department purchased thousands of $5,000.00 hammers, then diverted the “overcharge” to fund covert operations, the $Millions granted to promote child transgenderism and LGTBQ+ programs in Mozambique never were intended to serve that purpose.

USAID was simply a clearinghouse, or more accurately, a deep state money laundering scheme meant to enrich the democrat party. When people reject the policies advocated by the left, the people will no longer support and donate their hard-earned money to them. It then becomes necessary to find alternate ways to bilk the people and how simple it is to reroute funding, that has no oversight, right back into their pockets. Why else would the democrat party fight tooth and nail to maintain USAID and all its funding of such “Important” programs. Desperate times call for desperate measures and the democrat party has never been more desperate. Without access to taxpayer money never intended for them, democrats will lack the funds for their paid protesters, paid ballot harvesters, ActBlue, and all their other paid operatives.

Taxpayer funds are also rerouted to organizations that seek to disrupt and dissolve our Constitutional Republic in order to create a socialist state. Some examples: George Soros’ Open Society uses taxpayer funds funneled to it to elect “progressive” soft on crime District Attorneys that refuse to enforce the law, creating chaos and lawlessness. Additionally, Open Society has given terrorist related groups over $80Million since 2016. Yes, United States taxes have indirectly funded terrorists that seek to destroy us. Planned Parenthood received government funding and donated over $5Million to the Democrat National Committee and $40Million to democrat candidates that support abortion rights in 2024. These are but a few of the stratagems employed by the democrat party to enrich themselves financially, undermine our nation, create turmoil, and foster disunity.

The left is operating against this nation under the cover of our laws and freedoms. They are using false flag operations to launder US tax dollars to undermine our Republic. Democrats are embracing leftist ideology, aiding and abetting the very forces resolved to destroy us. Accusing the democrat party of treason is a charge that does not encompass the utter depravity of their designs. If democrats ever again seize power, they will drive this nation to ruin. We have a chance to prevent that from happening. A single bullet has birthed a revival. We must stand up for our faith. We must no longer be silent. We must turn out in overwhelming numbers to defeat leftism and turn away the democrat party. Our time has come to take back our nation and turn it back to God. If we fall back into our live and let live torpor, the left will metastasize like the cancer that it is. Will you wake up, serve the Lord, and fulfill your civic duty?

Business as Usual

 Too many Politicians serve their own interests, not the public.

When this Constitutional Republic was born, elected public service was never intended to be a long-term proposition. A sense of civic duty would compel those skilled in leadership and governance to serve their fellow citizens for a time and then return to their private lives. Professional politicians that made their livelihood on the public dole was never the founding father’s intent. Greed and power drives too many of these elected elites, not the selflessness necessary to be a servant leader. Those who have little or no personal experience outside of government do not possess the skills necessary to make the decisions crucial to better the lives of those they serve. Those who consider themselves better than those they are charged to serve do not possess the ability to put others above their own self-interest. Those looking to enrich themselves fail to respect the people who elected them.

Career bureaucrats not only want to maintain the status quo, they want to build upon it. There is little restraint when the belief is that, we the people, can endure unlimited taxation. Budgets will expand due to rising expenses, but overlook many government template systems that have not been updated for decades. New programs often overlap existing programs and end up being redundant, providing the same or similar services. Governments that fail to constantly assess and reassess programs that serve their citizens are doomed to continue to increase the size and cost of their government. And that is just fine for many government organizations. That also is a recipe for disaster, since taxpayers are not an unlimited financial resource. Milwaukee and other democrat run cities overtax for their incompetent, ineffective, and inefficient government, forcing businesses and residents to leave for the suburbs.

Those that bring a business acumen to government are often met with resistance, even though their solutions benefit the citizenry. Upsetting the apple cart, slowing, or ending the gravy train are hard pills to swallow for the entrenched bureaucratic “Deep State.” Well, friends, if government behaved more like the private sector, they just may become proficient in providing necessary services that are not only cost-effective, but also delivered efficiently and timely. There is no valid reason to not constantly and consistently evaluate better ways of doing business. Our friends on the democrat side of the aisle believe that big government knows better. why fix what they do not believe is broken? It is apparently better to continue with failed policies that inflate the bureaucracy. Unwarranted and reckless spending policies have driven inflation exponentially. Now comes the “Inflation Reduction Act” that will be like pouring gasoline on a fire. The drive to enact the ultimate solution to what ails us is enacting a new form of “Democratic Socialism,” though wherever socialism has been instituted, it has failed. Unfortunately, not all “new” ideas are beneficial.

Replacing a free market system with a government-controlled economy is foolhardy and dangerous. Capitalism works because it incentivizes ingenuity. Capitalism works because anyone can succeed with the right mix of ideas and diligence. Capitalism works because everyone has the same opportunity to be successful, no matter where they come from. Socialism fails because the State removes any financial incentive to think outside the box. Socialism fails because there is no reward since all are equally compensated, no matter what they contribute or how hard they work. Socialism fails because all end up equally miserable, except for those in government leadership positions. The free market works. Government needs to get out of the way and let the free market innovate and create solutions. When government intervenes and picks winners and losers, we all lose as the best and brightest ideas are too often ignored.

Government does serve a purpose. Most importantly, it is there to provide for the public safety. It is there to provide a safety net to help those who cannot help themselves. It is there to provide safe and effective roadways to facilitate the free flow of trade. It is there to enact legislation to positively serve the citizenry. Government has become bloated and self-serving. It is filled with people that have little or no respect for the office or the citizens they serve. It’s time that good people with real-life experience dedicate a few years of their lives to help make this country a better place. It’s time for career bureaucrats to leave the duties of public office to those who know how to lead a successful business. It’s definitely time to demand that candidates earn our votes by properly representing the values of the communities that they serve. And it’s time that we all become a better-informed and engaged electorate.
